She has various book series published, various poetry books, and many short stories circulating for anthologies as she pushes her passions forth into the writing community. With various pen names, she has honed her craft genre-wise and has taken an interest in focusing on her nonfiction Wicca writings, Horror and all its subgenres, as well as anything Paranormal, strange, and unusual. This is book 3 of the Guardian of Light series. This series keeps getting better with every book that is written. It has been a while since I read the first two books and I fell back in ease with this storyline. I felt as if I was enduring the emotions and feelings that Damian was. Kasey Hill is an amazing writer and has a gift to make you feel as if you are in the book.
This book focuses on Damian’s quest to be reunited with Xavier and Luxina. He endures many trials and tribulations at the hand of Alpha and his minions.
A quote that I feel sums up the book is,” I’m just tired…I’m tired of this twilight I am suck in. Half between heaven and half between hell…the darkness that comes in waves…the loneliness and isolation. I don’t want to do this anymore. I can’t do this anymore.”
The third book in The Guardians of Light series. In this story we learn far more about Damien and his motivations. His love, his hope, his character and his one real wish. While other characters from the series make appearances this portion of the story is really dedicated to Damien and his experience to date.
In this the world is expanded even further to include so many more members of the paranormal realm pulling the reader in even farther. The Nightmare and Shadows realm is most definitely my favorite part of the story. I could actually imagine Damien’s voyage through that realm. Leaving the reader with one of the most hopeful lines in the series, I can’t wait to see what the author has up her sleeve for the next book.
Damian is attempting to overcome his life and existence. He has been used as a weapon from birth. He has never know real love. His guardian, Alpha, sees him as a means to an end. He is meant for so much. But he has to fight not only his own personal darkness, but also the negativity that has been placed on his shoulders his whole entire life. Will he be ever be able to meet the ultimate goal of his existence? Or will he let his excruciating journey overtake him?
This is the 3rd book in this series, and she just keeps getting better. The way she tells a story is so relatable. Damien, Incaendiel, along with some others find themselves in some trouble. The perils they go through, just has your heart wrenching.
