Finding Satisfaction in Christ moves past platitudes about Christ’s glory and into the beautiful specifics from Paul’s letter. As we behold him, we become like him. From the fullness of who Jesus is we find fulfillment in him. Through a devotional-commentary approach, this book holds up Christ in a conversational tone to grab our affections and move us to action. With each day, the reader should not only better understand Scripture but they should be awed by Jesus. Colossians repeatedly directs our attention to his supremacy and sufficiency. Finding Satisfaction in Christ echoes those themes and brings them into the living room of the reader so they see how his supremacy and sufficiency play out in our day-to-day walk. As we see Christ in Colossians one day at a time, we satisfy our hungry hearts on him. Each of the ten sections includes an introduction and six devotionals on a verse or two at a time. To encourage readers to go deeper, each devotional includes additional resources to guide reflection and response. The goal is to slowly walk through Colossians to understand it, enjoy it, and respond to it.
