Vienna is smart, funny and utterly dazzling. The allure of her is like nothing else to wealthy businesswoman, Ashley. But what they have is a just a business arrangement, isn’t it?
A sizzling hot Lesbian Erotic Age Gap Romance from Emily Hayes
Ashley thinks she has her life made, she has an incredibly successful business and is happily single. She makes a business arrangement with Vienna, the high end Escort.
The more time she spends with Vienna, the more she wants her.
Are Vienna's feelings real, or is it just her job to make Ashley feel like this?
Not more than 2 stars. This story is too simplistic and has no substance at all. It doesn’t bother me when a story is a bit unrealistic, but I have to be able to have some believe in it. The oversimplification of this story prevented that. Though there was a good bit of sex, this wasn’t just an erotic story that doesn’t always need much of a storyline and background. The book also could use better editing.
DNF - sorry :( Pros -The cover -As a fan of Pretty Woman I am all for an escort story line
Cons -dialogue was a bit awkward -in the club for five minutes, it’s the lack of any build up of sexual tension, longing or desire. Erotica does not have to get freaky by page five to be “erotic”. I just read an erotic novel that probably got a good 40% in before anything physical happened but the sexual tension started on page one.
A good short novella - I enjoyed it. Writing down to earth and some good characters but at one point it was almost WTF? - but the tale just about survived it. PS: love the cover.
This story points out how nosey people make you do crazy things. In this story Ashley goes and hired girlfriend , Vienna so that people can leave her alone about being single. What happens next will have you smiling and even tears will appear. I really enjoyed reading this is and like I said Emily Hayes does not disappoint you.
This was a quick, easy and light read. The storyline was a bit predictable but that's a characteristic for many great stories so it wasn't a problem for me. I like that both MCs were confident and successful in their own right. The sex scenes were mostly hot.
Both were likeable enough for me to care what happened to them, although I found Ashley a bit more likeable due to being a more realistic character for me. I thought Vienna was too perfect in everything to a point that was a bit beyond belief. I was also not crazy about her name, it sounded quite escort-ish but maybe that's just my personal preference for not liking when people are named after places.
The first half of the book was quite interesting I thought, things were moving at a good pace. But after the second half (and the main dramatic event) it all moved so fast, I wish the book was perhaps a bit longer to it could allow for pace consistency. I also found the dialogue quite simplistic, although the topics discussed and the things being said were good/interesting.
I feel like there were some actions that didn't suit what we knew about a character, like
But overall a nice light lesbian romance novel, I recommend.
Ashley owns a successful event planning business and is usually happy with one-night stands. But when clients start asking her why she attends events alone, she decides to contact an escort service and hire a fake girlfriend. Vienna is that girlfriend, a high end escort. Although the agreement doesn't include sex, the two become attracted, and, well you know the rest.
The one thing this book has going for it are the sex scenes, but only if you're into D/S, some of it with a strap on. Other than that, it's formulaic with stilted dialog and lots of typos.
Mesmerizing! aaaand she did it again! You don’t even have 5min reading and boom 💥 hot, steamy sex scene! Emily has the ability to tell a good story with romance, chemistry, friendship, past and humor wrapped it in 130 pages you just can devour the book in a couple of hours and you won’t regret it! By far this is my second favorite from her (Surgeon just stole my heart!) what the critics say hehe a pager-turner!
SAPPHIC BOOK BINGO: erotic romance, fake relationship, favorite trope, unusual job, possibly other categories
I read another steamy book by this author and liked it, so I thought I'd try this one, too. I liked the characters, plot, and erotica, but there were significant grammatical and punctuation errors. If those issues don't bother you, you'll really enjoy the book.
I am a bit biased, age gap romances are one of my favorite reads. and this book was written to explore and find all the positives with it. Loved how Vienna was extremely comfortable with what she does, it was surprising that the writer took such an indepth look at this choice of life. Would love to read other books by this author.
Ashley is a CEO and very successful business woman. She just needs a girlfriend to attend all the social events she must attend. A friend refers her to a professional escort service to find just the right woman. Vienna is beautiful, well spoken and perfect in every way. A marvelous story.
The first half was fantastic! The sex, the dialogue… all of it was great! But, the further on we got the more rushed things became… things got sloppy. I truly feel if the second half had been outlined a little more and developed then these characters would have really popped! Overall… hot sex and interesting characters up until 60%
Egads when did I turn into a sappy woman swooning over such a sweet story? It is all Emily Hayes’ fault! She writes them so well. I loved the setting, the characters and the hot sex! I am not sure she can do better! Yet, I am willing to read anything she writes.
Two people came together under very different circumstances mom was hired as an escort and the other was rich and famous. Love develops and through various ups and downs it has a very good ending. This is a good book and I highly recommend it
This was a fun short story. I really enjoy Emily Hayes' books. They are always a joy to read. If you enjoy lesfic with happy endings, put this book on your most read list.
Short and sweet with just enough drama to make it work, but it wasn't really memorable. I would've liked to see more of some of the other characters (like Trish and Chloe).
Sometimes romances surprise you with more than expected erotic content and sometimes, a book with 'erotic' in the title surprises you by being closer to a romance -- albeit with plenty of steamy scenes.
In the most charming way possible a fake girl friend become much more popular then she could expect. Fall in love with a bathroom trist was a new twist to a story line that come to love and want. A great read it kept at edge of seat to keep reading.
