Expect Great Things: How to Be a Happy, Growing Christian

Rate this book
So many duties! So much good advice! How does one put it all together? Step-by-step assembly instructions would be nice. This book aims to provide a template for successful Christian living, showing where all the pieces fit. The ultimate to be like Jesus. Richard O'Ffill helps us avoid false expectations and keeps us from getting lost in the details by focusing on the big picture. Sorting out the nuts and bolts of Christian living, he poses soul-searching questions. Is Jesus just an add-on in your life? What does it mean to be crucified with Christ? What about white lies? How can we hone the conscience? What is the role of guilt, pain, and prayer? Why does good health matter? How does the Sabbath affect our relationship with Jesus? What about perfection? When all else fails, follow the directions. When we apply the truths of Scripture to our lives, we can expect great things to happen.
