The Girl Next Door

Rate this book
Apprehensive. Breathless. Exposed. This isn't how Ellie pictured it. It's supposed to be easy. There wasn't supposed to be anything. Relationships were not on her radar. Ellie was a headstrong lawyer and didn't have time for romance or even love. Hot summer weather and a beautiful soul can change the path of any direction. Also, knowing the law and following it are two different things.

The story was good. The problem I had with this book was the typographical errors, she must’ve used a spell check so the words are correctly spelled but I had to decipher or shall I say decode quite a bit while reading. I also think she went very slow at the beginning and the last chapters, she rushed the story along for the ending. Overall, I did like the story, I just had to sometimes put it down just because I was frustrated rereading paragraphs or sentences to figure it out.

Fantastic book - looking forward to a sequel!

Lived this book. Enjoyed the 💕 love 💕 story.
Am eager for a sequel. We often read about younger women and older men, but never the reverse. Loved the twist.

Recommend.
