I hope you all love Tyler and Ellie's story! Their chemistry is explosive and he's just what she needs to get over her asshole ex 😁 What happens when a man is so good at distracting a woman that he becomes her everything?? Read and find out!!

In the 4th book we get to know Ellie and Tyler better. After finding out her boyfriend has been cheating on her for a long time, Ellie decides to follow her friends to Pine Cove. Where she meets Tyler another Taylor brother again. And let me tell you.. the chemisty between those two is sizzeling!

I really enjoyed their story. It started out as friends with benefits but it soon turns into more. Ellie is still hurt and wounded by her ex boyfriends betrayal and has alot of trust issues.

I love being in Pine Cove and see all our favorite characters again. Tyler and Ellie are very sweet together. They both are hard working and passionate. Rebecca‘s writing was great and I really couldn‘t stop reading until the last page of the book.

Overall I liked this book. I guess I'm just over the I don't want a man but I can't stop falling for this guy so I'm going to act like a b*tch. Thankfully Ellie finally came to her senses but I wasn't happy with some of the things she did. However, her and Tyler made it work in the end and they were happy.

4.5 stars for Rebecca Gannon‘s Her Maine Distraction, the fourth book in her Pine Cove series.

Her Maine Distraction sees Elizabeth (Ellie) face a break-up of her relationship with boyfriend Kyle in the beginning chapter of the story and subsequently changing her whole life around. Quitting her job and moving out of the home she shared with Kyle, Ellie travels north from New Jersey to Pine Cove, Maine where her best friends Ashley, Ally and Mel live, and their new friend Courtney, owner of the local bakery. The sweet town of Pine Cove is alluring in more ways than one, with the cute but cocky firefighter Tyler Taylor in residence, but can Ellie’s heart cope with romance so soon after it was broken? And when Ellie is offered the opportunity of a lifetime to pursue her love of baking full-time, can she resist Pine Cove and all it tempts her with?

Rebecca Gannon writes from the heart and her love of Maine shines through her writing, I just want to travel there and hang out with this wonderful bunch of girls! Her Maine Distraction is the perfect blend of steamy scenes and cute romance, with loads of chemistry just brewing between Tyler and Ellie, making this a great contemporary romance read! I enjoyed reading about the friendship of these girls, the Taylor family and Pine Cove residents and put together with Ellie and Tyler’s romance, I recommend you check out this debut series by Rebecca Gannon.

I ate this one up! Y’all, I am obsessed with Rebecca and this series so much! When this landed on my kindle I completely devoured it in less than eight hours! Rebecca continues to bring all the small-town goodness mixed with hot passion and chemistry! And Ellie and Tyler definitely delivered in this one! I loved every bit of their story and couldn’t help but want to gush over them forever! This is definitely a Pine Cove couple you don’t want to miss out on!

In Her Maine Risk, we see a little bit into the chemistry between Tyler and Ellie but it didn’t compare to the heat in this book! Now they are both in Pine Cove and they are both single. But Ellie is just over a bad breakup and not ready to jump back into a relationship. But that doesn’t mean they can’t have a little fun right? Tyler is definitely ready to show her a good time! But what happens when friends with benefits suddenly feels like more?

These two are just it! They were meant to be and I think everyone knew that when they were swaying along at Ally’s wedding! There’s just something about them that clicks and there were so many times when I just wanted to knock some sense into them so they’d realize it! They were friends with benefits but watching the boundaries fade and them fall helplessly for each other was amazing! I couldn’t get enough of their sweet moments and I found myself smiling the whole time.

I swear I fall for each and every hero Rebecca creates. And in this one Tyler definitely upheld the Taylor name and proved that this set of brothers is the best! Her books continue to submerge me in their world and make me feel like I’m a supporting character watching all this unfold. And I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished I was just that! She has really become a favorite author of mine and I am so excited to continue reading each and every book she writes!

I was super excited to read this book since I had already read and adored two other books in the Pine Cove series. This series is about how each of four best girlfriends leave New Jersey and move to a small town in Maine one by one. With the move of Ellie to the small town, the four girls are reunited bringing their circle back together. After reading about the Taylor brothers in the other books, I was very interested in learning more about Tyler---a super sexy firefighter.
After so much anticipation, this book fell short for me unfortunately. The relationship between Tyler and Ellie seemed too forced. It did not seem to develop naturally. Although, I appreciate instant chemistry--I just didn't feel it between them. There were many steamy sex scenes, but with so many pages tied up in the descriptions of these heated activities, I didn't find there was much of a story there. More build up or slow burn like the other books in this series was what I had expected. Perhaps if I hadn't already read other wonderful books in this series, I wouldn't have been so let down. I would still read more books by this author.

This is an amazing, hilarious serious and I recommend it to anyone who loves feisty characters.
If you have read any of the other books you know who Ellie and Tyler are but you don't need to read the other books before reading this one (although you will benefit more from doing so).
Ellie has just caught her boyfriend cheating on her, in their bed. And to make matters worse she works with the girl and her now wx boyfriend. Needing a fresh start she decide to go visit her all her girls and see what to do next. Seeing Tyler again always puts a smile on her face but that's easy with his smoking hot looks and carefree attitude. Did I mention he is also a firefighter (sigh)?!? He is determined to help her forget the douche and find herself. But since she just got out of a bad relationship she isn't ready for a relationship yet so they will stay just friends.
Then the feelings come in...
These two have to figure stuff out but it's amazing to watch it all unfold. There are a lot of hilarious moments and you can't forget the fire between them.

Because Tyler isn't just a very cocky firefighter, he really is a cinnamon roll, too 🥰 For me it felt like it was love at first sight for him.
There is a lot of fire between Tyler and Ellie, so Tyler's profession is good to have 🤣
They just fit together so perfectly 🩷

I had a feeling after finishing the previous book. And the feeling was right. I don't read blurbs, so I didn't know what would happen to Ellie that she ends up in Pine Cove like her three best friends. So I only knew what happened in the books before (especially the last one). But I wasn't really surprised because, as I said, I had my feelings 🙈

There is one quote I want to use here because it fits so perfectly to describe the brothers...
"The Taylor men have a superpower – panty melting smiles."
So, it's no wonder the 4 friends ended all up in Pine Cove.

This is the last book in this series. I loved all four books, but I have to say, I'm missing Chris' book. Yes, I loved it that Alex got his HEA, but why not Chris? 😭😭😭

Another great read by Rebecca Gannon. She definitely did not disappoint in the final book of this series. I have to say I am a little sad to see this series end, but excited to see what else Rebecca has to offer!

This is the story of Tyler and Ellie. Tyler is the single, good-looking fireman, who also happens to be the brother of Jake and Ryan who have hooked up with Ellie’s friends Ally & Ashley. Ellie is the last of the 4 best friends to move to Maine due to a bad breakup. Tyler has never seen himself as one to settle down until Ellie came into his life. Ellie is at a point in her life where she is tired of being hurt and doesn’t want to put herself out there for her heart to get broken again.

This story has it all – friendship, passion, adventure, chemistry, attraction and romance. While this book can definitely be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the first 3 books in the series – this will help you to keep all the friends and brothers straight.

Igniting a fire in her
This book is about Elizabeth (Ellie) and Tyler. She has been cheated on by her boyfriend, and leaves New Jersey, to relocate to the small town of Pine Cove – where her three best friends (Ally, Mel and Ashley) moved to. He is a hot firefighter, and has quite the playboy reputation. They actually have met before when Ally married Tyler’s brother. Now they do share a mutual attraction, and certainly have some crazy-hot chemistry. But will she allow herself to get involved with someone like this, especially after having her heart broken? He might just be exactly what she needs to heal and grow.
It’s got a great cast of characters. They would be a great bunch of friends to have! I can only imagine the fun times that would be had! Now I really want to read the other books in this series!

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. I liked this book it’s about the final bestie, Ellie and the youngest Taylor brother, Tyler. If you’ve read any of the previous books in this “Maine” series and you definitely should, you’ll remember him. He’s sexy, a firefighter and a playboy. El is the last friend to move to Pine Cove because she had a boyfriend she lived with and was trying to make a life for herself without all her best friends. When El gets to town unexpectedly she’s not looking for a man. She’s lost and heart broken and just needs a break. Tyler was awesome, he was gentle with El and their romance/friendship was a VERY slow burn. But Tyler knows what he wants and is willing to put in the work. Ellie however, isn’t so sure. She’s trying to protect her heart but will she end up breaking it by not taking a chance? The ending of this book really makes it a keeper. I loved it!

This story is absolutely adorable and just as captivating as the others in the series. I couldn't put El and Tyler's story down. Ellie's leaves to meet up with her friends after her boyfriend whom she lived with cheats on her, she never expected to find her future there. I love how Ellie and Tyler meet for the second time, and how there is so much waiting for her in Maine. Tyler is a hunky, single hot Firefighter who has the heart of gold and just as cocky as his brothers Jake and Ryan. Ellie's friends just happen to be Married or engaged to the Hottest guys in town the Taylor brothers, who happen to be Tyler's brothers. Ellie's had her heart broken and isn't looking for another relationship, but it becomes increasingly hard to stay away from Tyler. Ellie and Tyler's attraction is instant and full of chemistry, their banter will keep you begging for more and their sexual chemistry is very steamy. This book is sure to satisfy all your cravings. It's another must read.

This fourth book in the series is about Elizabeth and Tyler.

Elizabeth walks in on her live-in boyfriend Kyle having sex with one of their co-workers. She immediately leaves and quits her job at the restaurant and decides to go to Maine to be with her girls. Once there she runs into Tyler Taylor, a local fireman and brother to two of her girls' significant others. Tyler is built, charming and smooth but Ellie is not looking for a new man. They agree to be friends even though the sparks ignite and they sleep together. Meanwhile Courtney offers Ellie a job and partnership in the cafe. Even though she starts to fall for Tyler Ellie is afraid to be hurt and breaks it off with him. They are both miserable and she realizes she is in love with him. She shows up to a bonfire party at his house and they reconcile and get their HEA.

This was a great, steamy read by a new author to me! I found this book through Hidden Gems Books which allows you to sign up for arc books and the blurb pulled me in. Although I have not read the other books in the series the book and characters all flowed well for me. The story is lacking a little depth but otherwise this book is a feel good book that involves Ellie a heartbroken baker and a hot AF firefighter, Tyler that kick things off after Ellie flees town for her cheating ex boyfriend.

I enjoyed watching Tyler romance Ellie. He was also very generous in the bedroom which I’m all about! 😏

Overall, it’s a great book to read over the weekend!

This is a small town romance with wonderful characters, a romantic hero and steamy love scenes.

I have enjoyed this series so much. I was given an ARC by the author for my honest review.

After finding her boyfriend had cheated on her, Elle packs up and heads to Pine Cove. Her three best friends are there and living their happily ever afters. There she reconnects Tyler Taylor whom she had a connection with when she had visited her friends in past. The chemistry between the two is hot and starts off super hot. Good thing since Tyler is a firefighter so he can handle it. Although Elle had burned by her ex, she can't stay away from Tyler.

Tyler is swoon worthy and Elle, even though guarded, is a strong woman heroine. I'm looking forward to more work by Rebecca Gannon.

Brilliant romance! I’ve read all the books so far in this series and I’ve been invested from the very first one. I don’t know what it is about this author but they manage to put all of my needs into every book and manage to make every one even better than the last. This is the fourth book in the Pine Cove series where you follow Elizabeth/Ellie’s story with hot foreman Taylor brother Tyler! Those two are HOT! The chemistry is insane. Honestly if you love a great steamy romance with brilliant characters within a great friendship circle and really good storylines then this series will not disappoint. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I read this book as an ARC.

Rebecca Gannon imparted the pages of Her Maine Distraction with beautifully written magic, reality faded away and I became immersed in the world they created. The perfect blend of intoxicating chemistry, swoon, sass, witty banter, laughs, feels, and romance. I absolutely love this series and all the characters we have gotten to know through these stories. One of my all time favourite series I’ve read and one of my favourite reads of 2020!! So what are you waiting for, go and find out for yourself what all the fuss is about. This is a wonderful book with Ellie who leaves her boyfriend who cheated on her and her job moving to Pine Cove where her other friends have moved. She meets sexy playboy firefighter Tyler who chases her but she wants nothing to do with him as she is just getting over her ex and she also knows her reputation. Before long he wears her down and she only wants to be friends with benefits and soon she realizes that she has fallen for him and breaks it off before he can break her heart. Loved these characters and the story plot but Tyler is one HOT man and my new book BF.

Wow! Everyone needs a Tyler in their life! The chemistry between the two of them was amazing and throughout the story the author made it flow very nicely. I enjoyed the the book very much and regret not having started with the first book in the series.
You can definitely read it as a stand-alone but I would have loved to read the stories of her friends.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book, just like I have loved this entire series so far. I absolutely didn't blame her for being scared after she had just been burned, but was really happy that she figured it out before it was to late. Definitely saw little signs in the way he was with her that showed his true feelings for her. Cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next!

Great story

The chemistry between the two main characters was amazing and throughout the story the author made it flow very nicely.

I have read the previous books in the series and this one is probably my favourite.

You can definitely read it as a stand-alone but I think you would get more out of the stories reading them in order.

LOL! This books has just as much comic relief as it does sexy, hot romance. Tyler really seems like he looks like a greek god and unfortunately has a bit of an ego because of it. I loved Ellie’s reaction to his advances and his utter shock at her refusal. It was almost clear enough to feel like I could see the look in Conners face. But, what the heart is denied, the more it wants what it can’t have. Can Conner get Ellie to give him a chance? Can Ellie find a way to her own happiness

Maine Heats Up

Loved the story, loved the girl gang and loved the HEA. But… I didn’t realize how demoralized Ellie was when she and Tyler first became friends. His love and care was so sincere that I was a bit annoyed that she walked away.
I also read a lot of romance and I felt these sex scenes were a bit repetitive and drawn out - Ty always wanted the same routine and El never initiated. Lastly, she was a boozer and I didn’t care for that occurring so often. A silly girls night is one thing but it felt like El relied on liquid courage.

she starts going out 'as friends' with the hot fireman and they are getting along and everything is fine but shes afraid shes going to get hurt so after spending the night with him she tells him she has a date and goes out with his friend

he sees them in the restaurant and get mad and storms out, she tells the date she just wants to be friends with him and hes good with that

her girlfriends cant figure out why she is messing up a good thing

Ellie is still in NJ while her friends have all moved to Maine. Finding herself basically without a place to live, she packs her car and decides to visit her friends for a while. Once you go to Pine Cove, everyone seems to stay. They also seems to fall in love quickly but Ellie has no plans that involve a man. Then Tyler Taylor makes her an offer she’d be foolish to pass up...

This series is really sweet. I actually read all four books in two days. The stories are all similar. The girls leave there old loves behind because everything feels lackluster or they are let down and want something new. It starts as a vacation but ends up being permanent. The girls meet the man they are meant to be with. They are similar but each girl has a different personality and outlook in life. The me. They fall for are sweet too. Fun fact three of the friends end up with brothers.
