Hey everyone! I'm K.M. Raya and I write books! Primarily romance, paranormal, YA, mafia, fantasy and Reverse Harem.
I started writing in high school for the school paper, and after that it was a whirlwind. Most of my college years were spent creating stories and blogs and bringing my imagination to life so that one day I could share them with you all. I live in California with my amazingly supportive husband and my two crazy cats, who both definitely proofread everything I write. I spend most of my free time watching B movie horror flicks, crime dramas and any vampire TV show I can find. I'm a lover of fantasy, swoon worthy book boyfriends and suffer from a serious case of wanderlust that can only be cured by reading dozens of books a year.
Thanks a bunch for giving me a follow. I hope you enjoy my worlds and all my little creations. You can find my books on Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble, or if you want, you can follow my Facebook, Instagram and right here on Goodreads!
Heart wrenching and beautiful. It’s a truly tragic story that pulls on your heart strings through out, the characters are built perfectly and the scenes of a summer camp worked really well for this story
I am hoping that this book was written by a young person. Someone in middle or high school. If the author is an adult, then it makes this review all the more sad.
While the story is interesting it has a sophomoric feel to it that I would attribute to a young writer. I think with more honing of their skill (fiction or creative writing classes, more attention in English class, particularly grammar, and a good word processing app?) we might see this author on a bestseller's list in the future.
For now the quality of this work falls short. The story needs a good edit and a more fleshed out storyline. The main character is flat. She has few facets; feeling sorry for herself, being everyone's doormat or getting upset over the most benign question. You kind of feel bad for her but she doesn't come off as very likeable. And then there is the sex. It takes little provocation to get into her pants, it's almost laughable. The other characters are just as undeveloped and it's difficult to buy into the romantic and platonic friendships she supposedly forges.
Omg! K.M. Raya where have you been all this time I’ve been reading bully books? So it all started when someone on Facebook recommended Angel for me to read. So I read it and loved it! I thought wow, this Author is an amazing writer. So I gave this book a try and I wasn’t disappointed. The story was beautiful and heartbreaking. I truly felt sorry for Freya and how her classmates treated her. Yes, people make mistakes but remember there’s always two sides to the story. Even though I loved Maverick, there was something about Sebastian that tug at my heart. He really was torn on what to do. My only complaint was, that K.M. Raya should have given us more background history on MC’s. Overall this book was beautifully written and I would definitely recommend it!
First book to be read by K.M. I do not know why I waited to read this but I absolutely love it. I loved Freya chemistry with Maverick and I loved her chemistry with Sebastian. K.M. hit the nail on the head when it comes to today's times of bullying, and the simple fact that Freya is a prime example of what victims go through, the silence that they suffer in. Man this one tugged at my heart
I pretty much cried throughout the whole book. There were moments that I thought things were turning around for Freya, then it just switched back to reminders of the pain and how people can be so insensitive! This book was well written and the feeling were described so realistically, that I honestly sobbed! Great read!
This book had all the feels, a rollercoaster ride of emotion. A little unbelievable in parts (mostly how Carmen come out of the 10 month coma coherently and instantaneously). Other than that it was a really good book.
So heartbreakingly beautiful. This story broke my heart and put it back together piece by piece. Such a great read, just wish it was a bit longer and more detailed.
This book was great so many twists and turns, the bullying was pretty dark so heart breaking what the mc had to go through, but love always finds the way
