Comic creator, writer, penciller, inker, colorist and painter.
I started creating comics for a gag strip called Cubicles. That strip led into a graphic novel of the same name that was picked up by Red5 Comics publisher. My next big project was Shiver Bureau. A comic about a world overrun with ghosts and guys with green eyes. Shiver Bureau has been picked up by Scout Comics and released as single issues. I am also the artist for the comic Is’nana. My comic Haxor is now being published weekly on WebToon.
You can catch me creating comic pages and doing sketches and watercolors on Twitch. Stop on by to say hi!
I am available for pinup and sequential commissions.
The art in Haxor by Walter Ostlie is beautiful—detailed and stylish, it really pulls you in. The first half had a solid pace and some decent story development, even if things moved a bit too quickly at times. But as the episodes went on, the plot started to feel rushed, with too many unanswered questions and not enough character development to back it up. Iso was a great protagonist, but everyone else felt flat—especially Sektor, the villain, who had almost no backstory or development. By the end, I was left confused and unsatisfied. I wanted to love this for the art, but the story just didn’t deliver—2 stars.
It's fun, with good art and interesting ideas. I wouldn't call it ground-breaking. In short, I enjoyed reading it, and it wasn't terribly long, so it was quite satisfactory entertainment in exchange for my time.
