Fabulous comprehensive book on how to sew jeans!! Including where to place your back pockets to get the result you want. Want a bigger bum? Smaller bum? Flatter, narrower?? She's got your back(side)!!!

I'm definitely going to be using the flat-felled seam sewing instructions (with and without flat-felled presser foot) and also the fly front instructions (with separate facing and with grown-on). Plus that button fly is definitely on my bucket list.

Highly recommend.

Looks really good, doesn't include a pattern though there is a pattern layout in the book. There are plenty of pattern options out there that have good reviews though, so you won't have any problems finding one to use these tips on. I've got the Itch to Stitch Liara jeans as well as the Morgan Jeans from Closet Case. Been tempted by the Ginger Jeans too, but seeing as Liara fits me well it seems like a waste to buy yet another pattern.

Great book, full of clear instructions for every possible step of jeans construction. Vastly better than the normal newsprint instructions that come with normal patterns. Recommended!

Really fantastic book if you are into sewing jeans. I was at first a little nervous when I bought this book, as I have bought some books claiming to be a guidebook on sewing shirts and trousers etc which were utterly disappointing. But this one is well worth the money. It has a lot of tricks I appreciated to make the finished jeans look neat, as well as some jeans trivia that I found interesting. Wish I had this book sooner (I’d already made three badly sewn pairs…) but at least I do now.
