Story takes place in the Omegaverse. Hobson Hills Omegas: Book Two
Greyson Bishop is a hot mess. He's pregnant, and his alpha dumped him. His boss is stealing his work and claiming it as his own. His roommate is abusive, and his landlord just gave him a week to move out. Most importantly, he's in love with a man that's way out of his league. He needs to get his shit together so he can be a good father and maybe, just maybe, catch the alpha of his dreams.
Harper Wilson has his shit together, but desperately wants the omega he's fallen in love with. Grey knows Harper is a demisexual and accepts him, lock, stock, and barrel. All he needs to do is figure out how to get his omega out of Florida and into Harper's home in Maine.
The two men are meant for each other, but vile exes and lying bosses do their best to ruin the happily-ever-after Grey and Harper deserve.
Author's Note: 30,000+ words. This is a m/m, non-shifter, mpreg love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ readers only, please. It is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone.
I have been self-publishing since October 2018. My books are extremely light and fluffy m/m romance with mpreg, and while they span a few subgenres of romance, they have similar themes of found family and love at first sight. Besides writing, I enjoy reading everything I can get my hands on, especially m/m romance. My personal favorites are mpreg, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal.
This was a sweet, low angst, story. I loved how they got to know each other through video chats and had formed that relationship prior to actually meeting. Both mc's were adorable and deserved someone special.
Harper and Grey are the sweetest. We get pets and close family and a demisexual alpha.
Grey is full of light and fun and learns his own worth in this story and becomes the center of a friend group that will carry this series forward.
Harper is wonderful in that he is kind, accepting, and helpful but never takes away Grey's agency. His family is welcoming and joyous as are all the animals.
I recently found this author and I am obsessed. This book is a follow up to Falling for the Omega.
Harper is part of a wonderful family called the Wilsons. This family sticks to gather through thick and thin and is very open and inviting in others when it comes to people who need help.
Greyson has had a difficult life since all of his family died in a car crash. He is pregnant and being verbally and physically abused. He does not believe that he is worthy of finding an alpha who well loved him and his baby. Since his family past he has been told repeatedly that since he is an omega that he doesn't deserve to be happy. Harper on the other hand does not believe that and a wants to be with Grayson no matter what.
This story moves pretty fast but the good thing about their love affair is that they've had a long time to get to know each other before they fall madly in love with one another. There was a lot of crazy people in this story and attempted murder happened multiple times. It was a very invigorating for a book that gives you the impression that it is just going to be lovey dovey all over the place. I am loving this series and I cannot wait to move on to the next.
Also I love Curtis Lee as a narrator and I think he did a phenomenal job bringing the characters to life.
This was book 2 in the "Hobson Hills Omegas" series. Alpha Harper Wilson is a sweet Alpha who is a wood worker. Harper is demisexual and he has fallen in love with someone that he has never met in person. Omega Greyson Bishop is a hot mess he is pregnant by an alpha who doesn't want him or the baby he is being abused by his roommate and he is hiding it from Harper. Grey has just found out that his boss has been stealing his work and he has a week to find a new place to live. Grey's parents and little brother were killed in an accident. When Harper overheats what's going on he hops on a plane to go get his omega. This was a really good read. Harper's exes are not happy Justin who is mean to him and Andrew wants to kill Grey. I really like the Wilson family they are warm and welcoming and always willing to help and the took a liking to Grey and his adoptive Grandma. When some tries to kill Grey Justin steps in to save him and they become friends and along with Abel Harper's cousin they become the " Hot Mess Club". In this book we also see Caden who we met in the first book Carter's brother make some changes in his life he is unhappy being a lawyer and becomes part of the club. This was a good read this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
That was the most chaotic, all over the place book I’ve ever read. I liked the story, but wow. It was like several thoughts thrown together made into the book. I have A.D.D and I felt like I was reading a book I put together. The book had problem staying on topic because it wanted to do all the other things. Don’t get me wrong I liked the story just the way it was put together was lacking
Winter themed this time, set around Christmas, this is the second installment of this series and occurs just after the end of Thanksgiving in book 1.
This is a light and fluffy romance with a tiny bit of angst and danger and a happy ever after, I like the setting and the characters and I think it was better written than the first book.
Snow Kisses for My Omega is the first I've read by C. W. Gray and the first audio I've listened to by Curtis Lee. It's book 2 in the Hobson Hills Omegas series but works just fine as a standalone (I haven't read book one yet).
I don't know if this is the first book that Curtis Lee has narrated or not; I couldn't find any others on Audible but perhaps he also uses another name. In any case, I enjoyed his voice; his narration and cadence were great. I would definitely listen to more books that he narrates.
I also enjoyed the story and thought that C. W. Gray did a great job. The story kept my attention and got my emotions involved – which is a perfect sign of how much I like a book. 😊 I'm looking forward to reading and/or listening to more books in this series.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.
Oh my gosh! The total cuteness is gonna do me in! Gray is so sweet. I about died when he started singing his donut song. That is so adorable I can’t stop smiling.
So Harper is a very unusual Alpha in that he needs a relationship before he can jump an Omega’s bones. He is thoughtful and caring and you immediately know where he gets that quality when we meet his dad. The Wilson family is loyal and affectionate and just perfect for Gray because Gray needs someone to take care of him and Harper needs his sunshine.
This book has a whole lot of stuff happening in a really short time. There are some things that just resolve themselves a little too easily and some extras that help the storyline which makes the couple the unluckiest in the world. Honestly? I don’t care. :-)
The audiobook narration is a little better than most. The narrator has a little difficulty pronouncing some of the Spanish words and he uses the same voice for everyone except the females so that was a little disappointing. Where the narrator excels is when he speaks as Gray and Harper. There is a nice depth there. So as long as you know this is more of a reading rather than a performance, you’ll like this.
I really enjoyed this story and the locale. I started the series with this book and went back to order the other 3 books. I’m hooked on Hobson Hills and excited to find a new fave author!
* I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Both Greyson and Harper were just so sweet, cute and perfect for each other. Even with the little drama, this story was really gentle and adorable. Though it was short there was a good amount of emotion and it kept my attention.
I loved that Harper was an Alpha who was demisexual, making it different than the typical Alpha/Omega stories I’ve read and much more interesting.
Curtis Lee has a nice voice, but at times I wasn’t sure who was speaking as both men sounded the same. That aside, Curtis Lee spoke clearly and was easy to listen to.
Snow Kisses for My Omega is the second book in the Hobson Hills Omega's series by C.W. Gray. It is avery sweet story about Greyson and Harper, two men who were meant to e together for sure. The story has some drama for spice, sweet romance and some comedy relief.i really enjoyed it and think I need to check out the rest of the series now.
I loved this book and that it dealt with demisexuality. It showed that not every Alpha is the same, and everyone approaches and had different various wants and needs in relationships and in their partners. Andrew was very mentally ill, and Harper should be done something way before things got out of hand. This was a very well researched and written book.
This book will give you all the feels in the world! I honestly wasn't sure I was going to like MPreg stories, but I have read her Blue Solace series and now the first two books of the Hobson Hills series, and they are all wonderful! I love that she makes her main characters so open and loving. I love how each person has their own uniquely awesome qualities. I love how happy these books have made me. I will do more written reviews of the others, but this one has just hit all my buttons for goodness, light and love. I'll be returning to this title for many years to come.
I loved this story! Beautiful, sweet and heartwarming!
My first story by C.W. and I loved it! Can definitely be read as a standalone but is so sweet, lovable, humorous and a little thrilling, I can't wait to read more in this series and by C.W.!
Greyson is so sweet and loveable. A mistreated Omega, pregnant, alone and down on his luck, his blossoming friendship with kindhearted Alpha Harper, turns his life around. I really enjoyed their friendship and I liked how Harper found out Greyson was pregnant, (with Grey dancing to his food). I liked how C.W. approached Harper's demisexuality. It was validating, caring and beautifully done.
I felt the characters connection straight away and as it started with a strong friendship, I felt they were stronger as they progressed in their relationship. I felt they matched each other perfectly and I loved how Gray was able to bring out the best in Harper and help heal things from his past and create a new group of friends in the process. I loved how Harper claimed Grey and his baby and created their own 'found' family. The story has some great side characters I really hope we get to see more of!!
I look forward to more stories about the Hobson Hills Omegas!
A great, heartwarming, mpreg tale with wit, heart, and love!
Harper and Grayson are two very sweet characters . The author CW Gray has given his characters personalities and individualism. I'm loving the whole Wilson clan , and their love for animals . You can feel the story building for another adventure by another Wilson but it's so many of them you don't know which one it will be, but you want to know about all of them just the same . This is a sweet sexy, story, about a lonely demisexual Alpha who forms a bond and falls in love with a very lonely, loving and funny as hell omega, with a wonderful HEA.
such a cute, fun read. everything happened pretty quickly but it's an omega read so cant expect things to be too realistic but it a sweet romance story. I felt so bad grey in the beginning but was so glad he found such an awesome friend like Harper and Harper's awesome family. I really enjoyed the first one and had little bit of a preview of this one at the end so I just had to find out what happened to the characters!
I love Grey and Harper (and the doughnut song)! They are just good people trying to be kind to each other to make their lives better. Plus, they have the cutest pets…so many pets. I love the idea of the Hot Mess Club and wish that there had been one admitting members when I was younger…I could have used the help. I will say this book, bring set in winter in Maine, makes me so happy that I live somewhere where I only rarely have to shovel snow.
This was another cute sweet and fluffy omegaverse story in a lovely norman rockwell town, omegaverse style. I loved loved Harper, he was just the sweetest alpha. And Grey was an omega with a big heart. As in the previous book the entire Wilson clan, family and friends were terrific and humorous sopporting characters. This is a light fast read very low angst with a Hea.
Very sweet very well-written book. I love this author. The first book will always be my favorite I think but this one was still really great and made me cry it several times. I can't wait for the next book or Caden story.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written but felt a little rushed. But it still has a lot of heart. I love the Wilson family. I will definitely be looking for more in this series.
I loved this book it was simple but yet exciting once I started it i couldn't put it down for a new author you have a wonderful imagination looking forward to more books from you
1.5 agh, this whole book could have been written with the omega = female. no thanks. I was really hoping to read a demi story that really reflected some challenges between MCs but nope. all skipped. just a few references from past relationships. The MC interactions were 100% hetero norm.
I absolutely love this series OMG I can not wait for Caden book Lord these books are great I love this family and all the animals please hurry up time so I can read more lol
