Jennifer is a psychologist and former academician who is now is an author, consultant and speaker. She has worked with complex health care, government, and educational environments for 25 years, including the serving in the U.S. military, working with non-profit service delivery programs, and as faculty in higher education.

This was a very informative, accessible, and quick read for anyone who is interested in management and all the ins and outs that come with any leadership position. Wisdom breaks the book down into 83 Challenges, each with advice and questions to think about. While she does state that it more of reference book to use when one of the issues arises, I read it cover to cover and found the book just as useful and engaging.

If you are considering a leadership role, I recommend Millennials’ Guide to Management & Leadership: What No One Ever Told you About How to Excel as a Leader. While it is aimed at millennials, I found the information presented suitable for any age.
