Take Care

Rate this book
At school, Louise's class only has one rule ― "Take care of yourself and each other." When Louise learns that this simple rule isn't being followed at her Mom's work, she wonders why. In this entertaining story, we're reminded why lists are great, and that sometimes the simplest rules are the hardest to follow.

In 'Take Care' Louise ends up teaching her Mom an important lesson. This is a heartwarming, mindful story that reminds us what we learned growing up, because we all forget sometimes.

First off this book is too long. A pale girl goes to school and learns they have one rule: take care of yourself and others. She tries to use the rule at home and it works but not as well. She gets to participate in Take your child to work day and her mom has a conflict. This is a story narrated by the little girl, and just like most young kids stories, it goes on and on, and on. Please leave this set and spend your library money on something better.

Take Care follows the story of how Lou learns a new rule at school and then applies it to her life at home. I don't want to spoil the entire rule- but it is really impactful. It makes life so much easier and happier if one just follows this rule.
