Umm

Sorry, reading is my passion but I had to give up reading this novel by chapter 5 as I could not get past the huge amount of exclamation marks, capitals and italics.

Regrets?

I enjoyed reading this book it's a bit different from my usual reads. As a parent I understand how bad it would be being put in the position of your kids or your soulmate as a choice.
I loved which way the story went. But the reason I only put 4 starts us the final ending it was so abrupt. No sign of book two so you have no idea exactly what happened with Mike. It felt like there should have been more. Yes good story but ending could've been so much better.

I absolutely loved reading this book from the start to finish a very good story about a very rocky marriage & a controller who was also abusive she had to make the worst choice in her life because she was pushed into a corner & couldn’t make a different choice at that time in her life well worth 5*****

Wow, very real storyline, couldn't put it down

This was such a great read, started with such a modern day, real life, relatable story. It is fast paced at the start, then goes off somewhere I didn't expect. Couldn't put it down, read it the quickest I've ever read a book, the chapters just rolled into one another. Great read, well done!

What a great and enjoyable book to read. I quickly got enthralled in the story and simply couldn’t put it down. The main character is compelling and speaks in a very open, honest style. I feel like I want to know more about her and hope Kathy goes on to write some more books about this family.

I felt it was a bit unrealistic especially how quickly things moved. The reaction of the husband was inconsistent and I didnt have enough empathy with the main character. The book felt superficial and lacking in character development

I felt there was the core of a good story but it felt superficial and lacked detail. It held me long enough to finish but it felt a bit 'thin'.

. I had COVID so was trapped away from home so continued to read but I felt it was simplistic, poorly written with no character development and totally unrealistic timelines and development. The issue of FV was poorly handled and as someone who reads lots of books - this would be one of my least favourites ever.
