Each book features a different couple and a HEA and is best enjoyed as part of the series.
A. J. Manney lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and four kids. Some of her favorite things to do include reading, family days, being a pastor's wife, and watching football on Sunday afternoons with her family
I recommend this whole series if you want: Fated Mates Found Family Protective Alpha males Strong loving FMC Fast paced These are an easy go to when you’re in a reading slump and don’t know what to read.
4.4⭐️ enjoyed it! i liked the 1st one more, maybe i just liked valen more tho. i’m sorry i the way gwin’s name is spelled?! i don’t like it lol. i’m so happy for zalia and valen too!
*contains spoilers * A repetion of the first book. Somehow Beckham acts a lot like Valen. While he had a different character in the previous book.
And why would Beckham and all the other dudes be so kind to the assasin of a good ruler before they found out she was innocent? And train the murderer to become a better fighter? It just doesn't make sense.
Also, why would Gwin not tell straight away she was innocent??
I absolutely love this Author’s ability to tell a story and the myriad of descriptive words she uses In that endeavor. Unfortunately, one of the things I praised her for in the first book of this series, great editing, and proofreading, we’re sorely missing in this book.
There was not one chapter in this book that did not contain numerous usage of the wrong pronouns, wrong words that had to be untangled to make sense of a sentence. It was so bad that at one point Ryder, one of the main characters, was called. “Raider”. I took one star off the review of this second book solely because of the poor proofreading and editing that was constantly distracting.
I will be reading the next book, as the storyline is so well written/followed that I need to see where it ends goes from here. However, I will be reading the 3rd book anticipating the worst, and hoping that’s the quality of the proofreading and editing is the same as it was in the first book.
After having said the above, I still highly recommend Reading the second volume.
I absolutely love this story. At first I was thrown off and I was like why has the author made this woman his mate after what she did. But boy did the surprises kept coming to the very end. I will definitely be reading the next book because I knew Raven was his true mark lol. Let the fun begin….hmmm wonder what Raven will be?
this book has strong characters that you fall in love with. While this is a true clean YA the tension between characters are relatable and emotional. The twist and turns throughout the book with keep you reading well into the night. I look forward to the in the series.
second in the series, fast read . the princes all have a mark on them and there is a girl that gets the same mark when she turns 18. they find each other and then bond. the princes is crazy protective of his marked girl. that was a bit much. and sometimes it’s like are you kidding? don’t go in the barn with the guy with the chainsaw! Gain just kept pushing everything.
I love having each couples history and how the story and characters intertwine, the suspense is tremendous in these books , can’t wait to get to Ravens and Adare’s story and watch the main story unfold more
Well this book had a lot of twist and turns in it. I love this series and the characters and storylines. Get this author’s books and leave your reviews!
Lots of detail… sometimes too much. I did some skimming thru dress descriptions and the mundane actions. Lots of grief and chips on shoulders. But overall a great read.
