All MacDonald’s books are worth the read. It starts out slow but gets really good by the end. Loved learning some about the English civil war. Loved the whole point of people loving and respecting each other on opposite sides of a war despite political differences that they were filling to fight for. Thought it was an interesting moral dilemma about loyalty to king you server vs loyalty to a man you love. Also love the focus on God and serving and loving Him faithfully.
