Jet Jansen’s great grandfather, Beau Jansen, lived to be 101. Born in 1909, he was raised on a farm in Southern Missouri. Selling hay bunch rakes to other farmers throughout the Ozark Mountains was his passion until tractors replaced horses in the 1940’s.Jet never knew about any of this since his family moved to Chicago before he was born and didn’t talk about his great grandfather for some reason. So, Jet missed the chance to meet him, but nevertheless, Beau left his farm to Jet in his will. What was he going to do with a farm in Southern Missouri? He chose to stay in Chicago, but then his life changed in an instant when tragedy struck. He realized it was time to reinvent himself. Maybe living on a farm would help him do just that.Little did he know he’d discover a mystery that would send him on a quest to find missing pages torn out of Beau’s journal which could change his family’s legacy forever.
