I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Overall, I found this book to be generally poorly-written. There’s mostly ‘telling’ and not much ‘showing’ and the telling is relayed in a very perfunctory fashion.

Additionally, this book is marketed as a LitRPG book. However, there’s nothing ‘LitRPG’ about it. It’s a straight fantasy book and not a great one at that.

Oh my god this book needs some formatting and fast. Like seriously, spacings don't exist, and it looked like an abominable wall of texts. It is seriously hard to read, and just one look at the preview would tell you so. I’ve only managed to read so much, but from what I have gathered, the story is mediocre at best. The fantasy element is good and the character is likeable, but the world-building lacks description and life. The story is basically, “I went here”, “I swam at the pond”, “Sir Rodrick told me to go here”, “Then over there”, “Fought monster here”, etc. Overall, interesting concept and the author shows knowledge in fantasy elements, but he/she needs to take writing lessons seriously.

Good start with a lot of potential.

I enjoyed this story. MC was very likeable, humble, and dedicated. His faith and interaction therein was interesting. It would be fun to see how he grows in faith, spirit, and strength. Overall, I got a 'feel good' vibe from this read and I'm looking forward to its continuation.

One of the positive books

Good: MC is likeable and not OP (but will be very powerful when experienced). All around the mc and his interactions are on a positive note and no relationship drama.

Neutral: No explicit content, it’s all fade to black. Very straight dialogue and almost all of it very happy.

Bad: Far to short.
