From USA Today bestselling author Uvi Poznansky comes a trilogy of three gripping suspense thrillers:
Coma Confidential:

Ash finds herself in the ER diagnosed with coma. She has no memory of what has happened to her, but what she can do—despite what everyone around her might think—is listen to the conversations of her visitors. One of them is the man who raped her.

For Ash, there is little time to gather clues: blackouts are happening not only in the hospital but throughout California. The Russian hackers who are intent on sabotaging the power grid are trying to blackmail her boyfriend, Michael, into helping their cause. And what better way for them to do it but by kidnapping her out of the hospital?

Overkill:

The last thing Ash expects when she lands in Clearwater, Florida is to be stalked by a troubled teenager. If that's not bad enough, she is caught in a shooting spree next to the nearby elementary school. The cops think it’s an attempt at mass killing, but Ash wonders if the only victim was specifically targeted by the killer. Will she manage to identify him and have him arrested before he comes after her?

Overdose:

After recovering from coma, Ash discovers that the man who performed her brain surgery has a questionable medical experience and a dark past, starting with his medical mission in India ten years ago and ending just recently, with his wife’s suicide. Should Ash expose him, at the risk of becoming vulnerable to his revenge?

I am a devoted fan of Uvi Poznanski, and keep coming back to her wonderful books. In Ash Suspense Thrillers are three gripping novels all in one, each suspenseful with a wonderful, courageous young character who will stay with you. I’ve just re-read all three, and enjoyed them all over again.

The three stories are: Coma Confidential, Overkill, and Overdose. In the first thriller, Ashley aka Ash is a young college girl who lies in a coma in Florida after being the victim of an assault. Coma Confidential is actually an ingenious new kind of psychological thriller, in which the comatose patient is aware of her surroundings, and we hear her thoughts. This is done brilliantly, with deep insight into Ash’s character and her reaction to the people and events around her even though she can’t communicate. We feel Ash’s terror, and cheer her in her struggle for survival.

In the second book, Overkill, Ash is recovered but stumbles again into danger. She leaves her college life, boyfriend, and home state of California behind, and rents a little cottage hoping for a much needed rest. Unfortunately, the cottage is anything but restful, with a horrific odor the second Ash walks in the door, and stains beneath the rugs. Someone died there, and the locals are close-mouthed. The story then ramps up to a school shooting, and the child of a neighbor Ash helps to save. The boy’s father is killed in the rampage, and in fast paced, exquisitly written suspense, Ash helps both the boy and his mother.

The third book, Overdose, brings more gripping suspense as Ash becomes a victim of a cunning, evil manipulator. In this thriller we finally understand what is causing Ash’s frequent, painful headaches and other strange symptoms. As with the other two thrillers in this trio, the author’s writing is vivid, creepy, and lyrical, and we cheer the courage of this terrific young character and her will to survive. All three stories are marvelous excitement. Five stars!

‘My life is no fairy tale, so what’s the point in waiting for magic?’

Uvi Poznansky wears a coat of many colors. Originally from Israel where she studied Architecture and Town Planning then moving to the US where she studied Computer Science and became an expert in Software Engineering, Poznansky managed to combine the design elements of two studies into unique formats. And she has accomplished the same with the other side of her brain - making visual her ideas (she is an accomplished painter, drawer, and sculptor who has enjoyed exhibitions both in Israel and in California, her present base) and making words in poetry and in short stories and children's books.

Serial novels are becoming a specialty with Uvi. STILL LIFE WITH MEMORIES is a series of five books dealing with WW II. THE DAVID CHRONICLES relate historical fiction. HIGH-TECH CRIME SOLVERS series needs no definition!

The ASH SUSPENSE THRILLERS bond suspense with romance and this generous bundle of the three books of that series – COMA CONFIDENTIAL, OVERKILL, and OVERDOSE – are among Uvi’s strongest. Though each story is rather brief (between 100 – 200 pages each), the plots and characters are so well mounted that each of these novels becomes an immersing night’s read.

Beauty of prose bound together with a sensitive thrillers make this a very special series from a very fine writer. Highly recommended

***** Really Enjoyed this

Having been in a boxed set with this author before and truly enjoying her WW2 spy thriller, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to buy this collection. So glad I did! What an extremely well-written combination of highly descriptive virtual technology and cliff-hanger scenes, that kept me reading––sometimes late into the night––and itching to find out what would happen next. I particularly enjoyed getting to know the main character, Ash, who goes from the horror of being in an induced coma to growing into a strong woman who not only defends herself, but also learns how to best take revenge against the forces against her. Bravo. Highly recommended!

There are a lot of accolades for authors and I’m glad to see that amongst Uvi Poznansky’s, USA TODAY Bestseller and The Romance Reviews Readers' Choice Award have both been bestowed. I’ve read most of what she has written and am proud to call myself an admirer. I found the Ash Suspense Thrillers particularly brilliant. So vivid that even after months the images/stories are still clear. I could easily believe I’d watched them on the screen merely days before.

Uvi is a mistress of her craft and she proves this by delivering high intense drama, a measured amount of suspense and fear that creeps up and lingers. You will be entertained throughout the entire series. She is a passionate woman attaching another string to her bow, romance and poetry. A vein that runs through much of her writings.

Each of the thrillers can stand alone without leaning on the others, though I advise you to snap up the trilogy for where Uvi Poznansky is concerned, one is never enough. AND… I hear there may be another Ash adventure in the pipeline. READ READ READ then read again.

Book 1:

Coma Confidential is an intriguing story told through a woman in a coma after she is beaten and raped. She uses her senses of hearing and smell to differentiate sounds and scents and what is happening around her.

This is book 1 in this series as this woman tries to come back to find the person who did this to her. There is non-stop action, danger and adventures that keep the reader glued until the

Book 2:

A Thriller that Hits Close to Home with Today’s Violent Society!
Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2020
Format: Kindle
This is the second book in the Ash series. I did not read the first book but did not have any difficulty getting into the storyline.

Ash is a strong and resilient protagonist who commands the stage in this well developed tale of violence in society. She has a violent history in her past when she was attacked and raped which she is trying to forget.

When Ash arrives in Florida she finds herself being stalked by an unruly and troubled teen. She is fighting her own demons but finds the strength and courage to help a family in need after their oldest son is kidnapped. The author has created a well crafted story with twists and turns that keep the reader guessing until the satisfying ending.

The violence depicted in this story is frighteningly real and hits close to home with the troubled youth in our society today. This was an enjoyable read!

Book 3:

Overdose is part of a series of thrillers. I found this to be a gripping medical thriller that will hook you in right away! Ash, the main protagonist, has recovered from a coma. She has headaches and vertigo and can’t seem to get back to normal since having brain surgery by a doctor that she doesn’t trust.

The more she delves into this doctor’s life, Dr. Patel, she finds things don’t add up. Who is he? How come she can’t find anything on him for a good part of his life?

When Dr. Patel becomes interested in her romantically she goes on a date with him to try to find out more about him and his dead wife. Ash is in a relationship with Michael who is trying to understand what she is doing. She becomes more embroiled in the doctor’s life when the waitress of the restaurant where they dined hands her a pink cell phone as she is getting into a cab. This is the last thing the waitress does before she is shot. Michael helps Ash deal with what she witnessed by the recent murder and what she sees on the cell phone.

The author has created a mystery, thriller, romance that will keep you turning pages until the satisfying ending. I have read other books by this author that were of different genres that I enjoyed also. She did a good job with this genre too.

Book 4:

This was an exciting adventure during the COVID-19 pandemic. The author created a scenario that was based on criminals and how they adjust and hone their skills to steal from insurance companies during this time where everyone had to stay at home in fear of getting sick.

The main protagonist goes through multiple threats in dangerous circumstances and somehow keeps her cool. Her boyfriend is her only hope to survive as long as she keeps in contact with him.

This was a difficult book to put down or turn off and listen to on another day. An enjoyable book and the first time I listened to an Audiobook. The voice was more monotonous but I got used to it after several minutes

The Ash Suspense Thrillers is a compelling trio of psychological thrillers featuring author Poznansky’s plucky heroine, Ashley Winters (Ash to her friends and family).

In the first volume, Coma Confidential, we meet Ash, who is a coma patient. Told in the first person, Ash’s mind is alive, but she has no control over her body. We learn, from conversations she hears between doctors, nurses, and other characters who come to visit her, that Ash was the victim of a violent attack and subsequent rape. The motive for these acts, by person or persons unknown, is not initially clear. However, slowly, Ash’s memory returns and, with it, comes control over different parts of her body. Ever curious even in her comatose state, Ash seeks to find out who attacked her and why.

In the second volume, Overkill, Ash, recovered from her ordeal as a coma patient, has moved to Clearwater, Florida where her father and his new wife reside. Trying to put her life back together, she rents a dirt-cheap beach house which has a lingering odor of something unpleasant. Ash soon discovers why she got such a bargain when blood stains are found on the floor beneath the carpet and a hidden room is discovered behind a closet wall. To make things even more sinister, a teenage boy she encounters at the library, begins to stalk her.

The third volume, Overdose, returns Ash to California and to her postgraduate studies. She is, however, plagued by excruciating headaches and, in an effort to discover the cause, begins to research the past of her former physician, Dr. Neil Patel. The first clue she uncovers is that, while his resume states he did his residency at Duke Institute, there is no one named Neil Patel in their data base. Curious, she accepts Dr. Patel’s invitation to dinner and, from that moment on, the games begin in deadly earnest.

This is an exciting trio of thrillers featuring heroine, Ash Winters. Her character is quirky, fun, multi-faceted, and exceptionally well-drawn. Supporting characters in each novel – her boyfriend, Michael, her mother and father – are equally complex and play important roles in each volume’s plot development. Full of twists and turns, these are fast-paced page-turners that any thriller aficionado will enjoy.

Highly recommended for lovers of thrillers, medical thrillers, and suspense-filled reads.

A Riveting Trilogy
All the books in this trilogy are gripping, hard to put down reads. The first book, “Coma Confidential,” is a unique, psychological thriller that starts with Ashley Winter in a coma after being attacked. Even though her body remains comatose, she slowly regains her mental consciousness and tries to figure out how she ended up in that condition. As she begins to piece it together, she hears the assailant’s voice. How can she defend herself?

In “Overkill,” Ashley leaves college and her boyfriend Michael for Florida. She rents a cottage from one of her father’s acquaintances and soon discovers it’s not an ideal retreat spot as a pungent odor flows through the place and the rugs are stained. The peaceful life she sought quickly ends when she’s caught up in a school mass shooting. While she protects a boy in the mayhem, his father is killed. Was there only one intended victim?

“Overdose,” is a medical thriller. Ashley is experiencing severe headaches after undergoing brain surgery as a result of a life-threatening accident. She begins to question the qualification of her surgeon, Dr. Neil Patel. As she delves into his past, she receives his dead wife’s cell phone that contains a chilling video. Is Ashley in danger from the surgeon?

The stories in this trilogy are masterfully written with numerous twists and turns. The plots are well-executed, the characters exceptionally well-drawn, and the dialogue authentic. These engaging reads kept me turning the page through the entire trilogy. Kudos to the author. Highly recommended to everyone who enjoys suspenseful thrillers.

Ash Suspense Thrillers comprises a three-book series by talented artist and author, Uvi Poznansky. A fourth, related book, Virtually Lace, featuring the same major characters, is the first in a different series, High-Tech Crime Solvers. The three books in this collection are Coma Confidential, Overkill, and Overdose. In the first book, Ash has awakened from a coma after suffering an assault and a rape. In the second book, Overkill, Ash leaves her California home to spend some time in a rented cottage in Florida and winds up being stalked by a lunatic. In the third book, Overdose, the plot circles back to the aftermath of the first book, with Ash still trying to recover from the trauma, suffering recurrent nightmares, debilitating headaches, and being harassed by a proverbial mad scientist. In all three books, Ash’s boyfriend, Michael Morse, an expert in virtual reality, plays a major role. Uvi Poznansky writes well-drawn, believable characters. All three are fairly short and are easy to read, with plots that make sense and all three have a good amount of suspense. Highly recommended.

Psychological suspense

From a literary sense this is detailed and suspenseful . Many typos . Psychological terror . Not really my favorite type of book . Ash goes from coma with lots of broken bones to being able to walk ? Not sure of that reality . She doesn't seem too smart much of the time, especially in the second book . The third she seems smarter , but then not so much . Interesting mystery .

I normally don't read thrillers, but these 3 books, "Coma, Confidential, Overkill, and Overdose" had me hugged from page one. I am happy that I could read them since I've been a fan of Ms Poznansky books and I was confident I’d find this book as satisfying as her earlier books I have read. It didn’t disappoint.
I recommend them. All three deserve 5 stars each

Felt like I was reading a script for a thriller show with multiple episodes across the Trilogy. Interesting plots and fast read, but did not enjoy the book much. I would have liked more depth to the story and characters.

I totally enjoyed this trilogy. Ash awakens from a coma to find that she has been brutally battered and the man who did it is close by.She fakes her reliance on medical equipment as the grid goes down again and again. Her boyfriend is being blackmailed and she is a pawn. Throughout the three books we see how the stories of friends, family and neighbors come together to make for a bad situation. In the end there is always mom. Heather Jane Hogan was a very good narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'
