A feel good romance with some Mafia ties!

This was a love story. It was super steamy (5 out of 5 flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥) and there were a few side stories, but the romance was the main storyline, the others were just part of the romance dynamics.
The heroine, Elisabet is an Italian girl who is also a Mafia princess. After her mother died when she was younger, her father moved to New York and she soon followed. She was always a good girl and did what her father wanted, but she also wanted to be independent.

Elisabet ran a Bakery in New York and it was doing well, but her father wanted her to be a perfect Mob Wife and used her to solidify an agreement with a rival, Marco by arranging her marriage to him. So Elisabet ran away to start a new life in Portland. She wanted to open a new bakery and put down roots, though in order to run she had to trust someone from her past and get a loan from him to start her new business and life.

Elisabet meets Rome Donovan when she decides to purchase a building for her new bakery. Rome is a billionaire land developer and real estate magnate who owns the property Elisabet desires. Rome is a renowned playboy, but is attracted to Elisabet from the start. Elisabet is attracted to Rome as well, but she knows she can’t start anything serious due to her past, so they agree to have Only one Night together.

Of course, the next day, Rome realizes that he wants more and stubbornly pursue’s Elisabet, who is set on not repeating the night. I really liked Rome in this book because he was wealthy, handsome and extremely generous in bed. He treats Elisabet like the princess she is, though he has no idea about her secrets. Rome also has a secret that caused him to go against his monogamous nature and become such a playboy, so there is plenty of intrigue to keep the story moving along.

There was only one part I didn’t really quite get. It happened after he Rome learned about Elisabet’s background and he got upset when he thought she had lied to him. I just didn’t quite understand why he sent her away. At the time he says the following:

“And I know nothing I do now will change my feelings. Space. It’s the only thing I need. I watch as she walks out of my office, and I know what I have to do.”

That statement just didn’t make sense to me. I thought he was sending her away to do some grand gesture but he doesn’t. I also don’t understand the comment of about nothing he does will change his feelings. If his feelings are love, then why send her away? Anyway, it was just this one part that didn’t make sense to me, otherwise the book was a good one and I definitely recommend it. It is not a dark romance like many of Dani René’s other books, more of a contemporary romance with a mafia twist.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Oh well this was an easy-to-read story, with many sexy moments 🔥🔥🔥 with a bit of tension and a few secrets that prompt you to read to know more...
Elisabetta escaped from her life, from her past, from her father and she Is ready to start a new life.
Her only focus is on opening a bakery: she doesn't want to get involved with someone but she didn't consider Rome Donovan 😏
Roma is a cocky, sexy realtor.
He know what he wants and always get it.
And he wants Elisabetta from the first moment.
Only one night never gonna be enough between the two of them, when the chemestry is so strong.
But they have secrets and they both are scared to let someone in...
They have to decide whether their bond is one that is worth fighting for.
I really like Rome, his two-way jokes , his frailties... and damn that man has stamina 😏😂
And i appreciated Elizabeth's strength and her independence.
At the end Only One Night is the perfect summer read.

'Only One Night' is a sweet, steamy, and delightful novel about two people who can't help but fall in love with each other. Elisabet is in the clutches of her father and fiance, and she decides to take control of her life and moves to New York to set up a bakery. Rome is an estate agent who owns the bakery building. He has his setbacks due to the consequences of his actions in the past. Will they overcome their obstacles to win their happily ever after?

My favorite character in this novel was Marco Gianetti. He was unpredictable. His relationship with Elisabet was endearing as well. Rome was a breath of fresh air as he was not the usual alpha jerk portrayed in books of this genre. This novel is written in the first person in both Rome and Elisabet's perspective and has consistent pacing. If there was more emphasis on plot and the other background characters than just Rome and Elisabet's romance, I would've been more engaged. It was a comfy read. 'Only One Night' is recommended to all steamy romance fans. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Full review will be up on my blog this wednesday!

And now Dani René has captured my attention with her regular wizard storytelling skills! Okay, that might sound a bit off but you see, if you’re familiar with Dani, then you know she tends to write dark and what some would call disturbing stories but I just call them twisted, so when I read the synopsis to this book I was soooo intrigued! I mean the woman is twisted kids in the most wonderful of ways most times so I just kept starring at this cover like “huh, that doesn’t look dark at all! So, I dug in as quick as I could and OH EM GEE what a delightful read this turned out to be. It’s a straight up contemporary for sure, but Dani’s signature is all over it!

Both Rome and Elisabet intrigued me as individuals and as a couple. They had their own growth along their journey that made the story much more captivating for me. Those layers added a depth to the journey that allowed me to feel and not just read! Total #win :) Their chemistry sparked from beginning to end and the character development was just fantastic. I am just SO enamored with this story!! Well done!

Only one night is all it can ever be.

Elisabeta Rossi is the only child to a very overprotective man, who has created a pathway she doesn't want to follow. An arranged marriage to a older friend of her fathers take will combine both business families.
Elisabeta takes off from her father's control determined to find her happiness around her bakery that she loves and keeps her mother's memory alive.

Rome Donovan has the reality office where Elisabet has found her next bakery to open.
Rome is quite the womanizer who usually gets want he wants, and he wants her in his bed.
Rome wears Elisabet walls down but only for one night only.
What happens when both of the secrets come to light and they both struggle.
A steamy romance story with beautifully written characters.

This was just an okay read for me and I think my biggest problem is that I just could not connect with its characters. The characters me were likable enough just not loveable.

I did like the fact that there was that mafia tie in to add a bit of suspense. The story did have a ton of sexy scenes I just never felt the heat.

I loved the fact that Lisabetta found a way to take charge of her life.

Rome was just one of those romeo's that made you smile because of his teasing and dirty words.

Overall the story was a cute one and one that was fast forward from the moment they met and I think that is why I was not loving the story either because there were things that started bugging me that started taking place to soon. For instance who takes a vacation in the middle of a major renovation when your on a time constraint to payback the don of the mafia who just had a threatening convo about money.Stuff like this and then you had the business with your father where you are on the run scared and afraid one minute and then your not because you have a new man in your life. Your old beau was a heck of lot scarier than the new one. Without giving away the whole story to make these things make sense I just could not see certain scenarios being plausible and playout the way they did on the current time frame later down the line yes.

I know this is a book of fiction and things like this should not bother me but, they matter to me. The story was enjoyable to pass the time but, not one that would be put into my re-read pile. We can't love them all and that's okay because I have absolutely loved tons of other books from this author this one just not one of my favorites but, I think this an amazing author overall.

Elisabet is trying to put her past behind her. Arriving in Portland’s she is determined to open up a new bakery and find the perfect property. After a few days she finds the picture-perfect spot, where she can envision her new life. She is determined to buy this property, which leads to her meeting playboy property tycoon, Rome Donovan. Rome takes one look at the curvy Elisabet and can visualize a lot more than just a property deal. He manipulates her into a dinner date with the intention of plenty more tantalizing ideas. Can Elisabet withstand the charms of this playboy? And more so, does she want to, or is she up for one night only? Will Rome be ready to let the alluring Elisabet go after one night or can he foresee something in the future? Will Elisabet confide in Rome about her past that is catching up with her, or will she run again? Can they have their Happy ever after, or will the past mistakes break them? I enjoyed both Elisabet and Rome as characters and could relate to them. The chemistry sparked and definitely steamed up my kindle on more than one occasion. I enjoyed the story on the whole, but I felt like a few things needed more clarification and summing up. And I would have preferred if there had been more detailed backstory on this. However, overall a good story from Ms. Rene.

I loved the Fusion Series by Kristen Proby Listen to Me which was the first book in the series blow me away; and then to stumble across 'The Fusion World Series' has added to my enjoyment.

'Only One Night' is a great addition to the Fusion World it fits right in to the style that Kristen Proby created with that series. Sizzling, Sassy, Scorching Hot. I dare you not to fall in love with Rome and Elisabet.

Elisabet has come to Portland to make a fresh start and reconnect with her best friend Mia - Mia and Camden's story can be found in the 4th book in the Fusion Series Savor You. I wouldn't say Elisabet is running away just trying to get away from her controlling father who loves her and she him but has promised her in marriage to someone she doesn't love and who doesn't love her!

Rome is the property developer Elisabet is buying what will be her new bakery from - English and a renowned playboy Rome is the love em and leave em type and his exploits had already reached Elisabet ears even before she meet him.

As soon as Rome meets Elisabet he wants her and will play dirty to get her — one night is the plan and night is what they agree to — both have secrets and fears that they are not willing to tell the other as one night turns into 2, 3, 4 what started out as a no strings liaison soon turns into more but both have to face their fears and be able to tell each other their secrets before this came move on to the next level.

I really enjoyed this story Dani Rene is a new author to me but I will be reading more — her style of writing is my style of reading!

This is one hot couple but for some reason I couldn't connect with them. Even the sexiness was a misconnect for me. Elisabet was up and down. One minute she was the in-charge business woman and the next she was a playboy's plaything. Her past was a little mysterious with the mafia connection and an old boyfriend. Rome was the typical poor boy makes good with his sexy British accent and dirty talk. It's insta lust/love for him which seemed out of character but good for Elisabet. All that power and passion just for her. There were loads of sexy times between the two but the heat was missing for me. A few things with the plot didn't add up. She was gung-ho to get her business going but then it took a backseat to her budding relationship with Rome. And then the deadly mafia shows up and Rome going to protect her? Uh...it's the MAFIA! That did add some suspense to the mainly romance story. The idea for the story was good but it was a miss for me. I did like the playboy buddies relationship between Rome and Dominic. It was a fast lane to love, and a healthy dose of lust, as the transplanted bakery owner and her real estate mogul find love and a bit of danger thanks to her past life in New York. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Dani Rene has captured true romance with Only One Night.  This is a heartwarming story about two people that need each other but are too stubborn to admit it.  I liked the characters and their past turmoil that helped shape them, their plight wasn’t necessarily unique, but it was dramatic.  I was thinking this was going to be more of a mafia romance but in the end the mafia angle fell a little shy of my expectations.  Overall, it is charming story that makes you feel good about love. 5-eclairs for Only One Night by Dani Rene

Elisabet Rossi is trying to make a new start.  Having escaped from an uncertain future in New York, Elisabet believes she can make a home for herself in Portland.  The first step is acquiring a building for her new bakery and to do that she must go through Rome Donovan.  Rome is gorgeous and wealthy and has a reputation as a playboy and is exactly what Elisabet does not need in her life. Rome is determined to get to the know the beautiful Italian, even if it means mixing business with pleasure.  Rome is all about making money, but he has Elisabet’s pleasure as an end goal.  Elisabet can give Rome Only One Night or she’s afraid that her past may come back to haunt her and take away everything she has tried to accomplish in her new life, including Rome.

This is such a fantastic easy book to read but with a lot of heart, I loved Elisabet she has this way of making you feel everything she feels in terms of her love of baking and what she believes in....Her journey isn’t to fall for anyone let alone this cocky, arrogant realtor who she just can’t stop thinking about no matter how hard she tries..

Enter Rome Donovan the very self assured realtor who is used to getting what he wants when he wants it a guy who stops hearts at twenty paces even if he isn’t trying.... but will he get the girl? He may just have he’s work cut out for him, always fun chasing though....

Bravo Dani you did it again girl.....

This is a great novella that will pull you in and keep those pages turning. Both Elisabetta and Rome know what they want to achieve in their careers and BOTH have secrets that they would like to keep hidden. As their story develops and we get deeper into this read there are twists and turns that may not have been where these characters had originally planned on heading but I personally enjoyed following them down the paths taken.

What a delightful, steamy, romantic story! Rome is a man who takes charge. Because of his past he won’t let any woman into his heart. Until the day he meets Elisabet and he is totally thrown off kilter. Elisabet is a young woman trying to make a place for herself in this world, away from the craziness in her life. She has no time for any man to control her. When she meets Rome, well, let’s just say he can be very influential in changing her mind.

These two characters are so perfect for each other, even if they don’t see it right away. They both have pasts they need to divulge to each other, but once Roman tells her about his, will Elisabet stay by his side? Rome is all sexy, alpha male who will make your heart swoon and Elisabet is a beautiful, independent woman who you wish was your best friend.

I loved everything about this story and so will you! Can Rome and Elisabet be more than “Only One Night”? You will have to read this story to find out!

Comically bad

No consistency, continuity, and as far as I could tell they went from antagonistic (that being relative) to lovedick in 2 weeks.

The main female character is described as a sassy independent women, who just happens to let every man she meets walk all over her.

The main male character is described as a playboy and even pays for sex, but is great over heels puppy dog after only one night (lol title) with the female lead.

One moment they've each got a hidden past they can't speak of for whatever reason and then less than 24hrs later they've both laid it all out there.

I wanted to stop 1/3 of the way through, but I was just so curious where it was going to go and I'm disappointed I continued.

Sexy, so steamy that will melt your panties🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Elisabet flees from NY and her life planned by her father to go to Portland where her old friend Mia lives. She decides to buy a restaurant to turn it into a bakery so she goes to the owner of the building, Rome Donovan, to buy it. He agrees in exchange for a dinner date with him. And after that 🔥🔥🔥 night nothing will be the same.
Rome leads and uncomplicated life: making money and have one-night stands until he meets Elisabet. He is immediately attracted to her and, before he knows it, he wants to know all the secrets this woman hides.
Elisabet has run away from an arranged marriage with a mafia boss who lends her money to start her business. She knows that more than one night with Rome will bring complications to her life that she cannot afford but she can stop now.

“Would you like to come back to my place for a nightcap?” I ask as I guide her to the exit, my hand on the base of her spine, tingling to move lower. To touch her. “I thought this was a business dinner?” she asks as we reach the car. I don’t open the door immediately, but instead cage her in against the vehicle. “This can be anything you want, and somehow, I think you want nothing more than for this to be a date. And I’ve been aching to see how you enjoy me unraveling the tension in your body one finger at a time,” I inform her, my voice raw with desire. “And then my tongue and cock right after.” She places her hands on my chest, not pushing me away, merely resting them on my pecs.

“Be mine,” he finally whispers the words I’ve been dreading. I keep my eyes shut. I can’t look at him and tell him the truth. So, I give him the only answer I can. “Una notte.”“Stay,” he pleads. His eyes hold emotion, something that shouldn’t have happened. Shaking my head, I pull away once more, and this time he lets me go.

“Look me in the eye and tell me you don’t want me,” I command her, keeping my voice controlled, yet I’ve never felt so out of control before. “I can’t tell you that because I would be lying. But my life doesn’t allow me to choose my partner. As much as I think I’m escaping my past, I’m not.”“Let me make one thing clear,” I tell her, taking one step back so she has space, and she can meet my gaze. “I’m not someone who walks away just because you asked nicely. And I’m certainly not giving up when I know for a fact that you’re interested in me too.” “This can’t be anything more than it was.” “What about just sex?” Her brows furrow together in confusion. “What?” “Us. If we keep this physical, no strings, just us enjoying our time together.” My offer is clear. I want her, and I’m not leaving until she gives me an answer.

“Then the next time I claim that pretty pussy of yours, you’ll feel me for days after. And while you’re in your brand-new bakery, you’ll be squirming at the memory of my cock stretching you.” “You have a filthy mouth,” I tell him, causing him to chuckle in response. Rome leans in close, his mouth at my ear when he whispers, “That’s me being sweet and romantic. Just you wait until I get filthy, sweetheart.”

"We can’t know the future; all we can do is live day by day. And the past may haunt us at times, but that doesn’t mean we need to delay our present for those.” “Or perhaps just live for one night only?” I ask her, recalling her words back to her. The night I wanted from her became so much more. She’s brought out parts of me that I never thought would exist again. Elisabet offers a small smile. “One night, one day, it’s all we can take it as. Keep going until we’re old and gray.” I cup her face in my hands and lean in. I don’t kiss her. I stop inches from her mouth. “How did you become so wise?” “By learning that not every day is promised to us. And knowing that if we delay what we want because of ghosts that haunt us, we’ll never live.”

Only One Night (The Fusion Universe) by Dani René

5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Only ONE Night by Dani René was a very steamy easy to read story. It is written in dual POV and tells the story of Elisabetta and Rome.

Elisabetta is a Mafia Princess, the daughter of a famous Italian mob. Her mother died when she was a young girl, so her father moved to New York after that. She went after her father at short time, because she was always a good girl, listening to her father and doing what her father told her.
She wanted to be an independent woman, but her father had other plans for her. He wanted her to be the perfect mob wife.
She owned her bakery in New York, but when her father tried to force her into an arranged marriage with one of his rivals, she run away.

She is now in Poland and she wants to start her own bakery business here now, only she needs a shop/space for that. That's how she meets Rome.

Rome is a playboy, a billionaire real estate magnate and a land developer.

Rome and Elisabetta are very attracted to each other, so they give themselves Only One Night together.
Obviously after that Only One Night, Rome wants more from Elisabetta, but she doesn't want anything more because of her secret. But Rome has his own secret too.

Are their secrets more powerful than their love?

I throughly enjoyed reading this book.
Once I started I could not put it down.
I was totally invested in Rome and Elisabet.
I loved them both and was rooting for them from the get go.
The minute they meet there is a spark between them.
Both know that it can become something big if they are willing to take a chance.
Their spark only ignites more with each time they see each other.
Until their undeniable chemistry explodes off the pages.
But their pasts still has them holding back.
Rome is the perfect blend of dirty bad boy and romantic.
Hie romantic side is swoon worthy.
And his dirty mouth had me fanning myself.
Elisabet is one strong lady.
She has determination and inner strength that is so admirable.
She’s also sassy and owns her wants and needs.
For someone like Rome who is a law unto himself not just an woman will do.
He’s found his perfect match in Elisabet.
She gives as good as she gets.
And I thought they were absolutely incredible together!
But when the past starts seeping into the present.
Secrets will start coming to light .
And fears will be revealed.
I loved the lighter side of Ms. Rene’s writing.
I thought she did an awesome job of it.
She wove in the mafia elements that kept it exciting and a bit edgy.
While still being a fun sexy read.

Only One Night by Dani Rene is phenomenal! Elisabet and Rome were such a fun rollercoaster ride of a journey to witness!

This story has so much to offer! It is a coming of age story, it is a making your own way story, it is a story about learning who you truly are, and living that like unabashedly and to the max. It's about the highs and the lows, the struggles and the triumphs, the importance of independence, and the wonder of being able to rely on someone.

I adore how spreading her wings is simultaneously the scariest and most exciting thing she's done, and I loved going on this journey with Elisabet!

Rome is something else, and I mean that in a good way! World weary and just waiting, well, not expecting, something to swoop in and literally shake the foundation of everything he's built. And I loved witnessing every second of it!

If you're looking for a story with combustible chemistry, drama, tension, intrigue, and steam coming off the page, look no further than Only One Night; you won't regret it!

Elisabet was a good Italian Mafia Princess who normally did everything which was expected of her.  However, when her father arranged her marriage, she left everything to start over in Portland.  She's wanting to get a new bakery up & running, which is how she meets Rome Donovan.  He owns the property that she wants, and he's enchanted by her.  So much so that he gets her to agree to only one night with him since her secrets don't allow her to pursue a relationship with anyone.  After a super hot night, the problem becomes only one night isn't enough so the push & pull with sparks shooting in every direction commences.  More HOT sexy times, more catching feelings, and more intensity because of the secrets that don't make friends which has me on the edge of my seat.  Will these two have a shot a a future when all is revealed?!  Hit those one click buttons to find out!  HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Only one night, but is it enough?.....

A contemporary romance with a mafia edge.
Elisabet Rossi is running away from her past and a life that she hasn't chosen herself, straight in to the arms of Rome Donovan the sexy businessman who has set his sights on her.

𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕. 𝑼𝒏𝒂 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆.

Only One Night has everything - suspense, secrets, twists, sizzling hot chemistry between Elisabet and Rome. And I loved the mafia element that was wound in to this contemporary romance.
Elisabet and Rome are a perfect match for each other, they just needed to see it. Both strong and independent. Both know exactly what they want.

I love Dani René's writing. I look forward to all of her releases. I get invested in every story and every character. She has the ability to pull you in to a story, within the first few pages, no matter the storyline - that's what I love.

Only One Night (The Fusion Universe) by Dani René was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

Elisabet is a Mafia Princess. After the loss of her mother she moved to New York. She is running her own business in New York. When her father arranges a marriage for her she leaves New York.

We meet Rome when Elisabet purchases a building in Portland. There is an instant attraction between them. After one steamy evening, Rome decides he wants more from Elisabet. Will he be able to convince her to try a relationship? What will happen if her secret gets out?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. I loved the characters and wowza we get some really steamy moments. Rome is one spicy hot alpha male. We get several twists, turns, secrets and so much more. I don't want only one night, I want all the nights...

This story is sexy, steamy and as hot as a sweltering sauna. Elisabet moves to Portland to leave her home behind where she felt stifled and suppressed. She wants a new start. She did not need further drama and turmoil in her life. She has plans but she is thrown completely off kilter when she meets Rome. Rome and Elisabet are passionate and lustful for each other

Rome is all alpha male, gorgeous and drips sex. Just the distraction she definitely does not need right now in her life. As much as she tries, he is very persuasive and hard to discourage. Elisabet breaks down rather easily and agrees to one night. But is that enough? I loved these two together and raced through their story to see what would happen next.

Elisabetta is an Italian mafia Princess who goes on the run when her father strikes a deal with a rival for an arranged marriage. When she sees the perfect sight for her to open her bakery, she meets playboy Rome who is a billionaire land developer and realter who owns the property, and the attraction between them is instant. The more Elisabetta pulls away from him the more he pushes her until she eventually agrees to just one night, however, Rome has other ideas. This is a well written tale which has drama and secrets and is a steamy and all-consuming tale which had me totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.

Only One Night is a good, super steamy novella that was easy to read and pulled me in from the start. I really enjoyed Rome and Elisabeth's journey that not only was super hot and steamy, but also heartwarming. There are secrets revealed along the way and a little bit of mafia tied into the story line. Their story starts with what is supposed to be only one night, but what happens when Rome the HOT alpha male, that only does one night stands can't get enough of the strong, independent Elisabeth who is running from her past? I loved the push and pull between the two characters and their explosive chemistry. This is a can't miss, super steamy, short read that will have you falling in love with these two characters.

Happy Reading Everyone!!!

📖🖤BOOK REVIEW🖤📖
ONLY ONE NIGHT by @danireneauthor 🖤
The most recent book of Dani René is sexy as hell. One night stand, it’s all that Elisabet and Rome were meant to be. No strings attatched. Yet, the moment Rome met her, he knew she can’t be only a notch in the bedspot. Elisabet, with all her bravado, did everything she could to push him away, but to no avail.
Their relationship is hot, filled with longing and secrets, and yet they complete each other like yin and yang.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Must read. Sexy, angsty, passionate story.

Only One Night by Dani René is the story of Rome and Elisabetta.

So she ran and now is working to start a new life in Portland. Rome is a realtor who has the property that Elisabetta wants to buy to start that bakery. But, Rome is more too than just a realtor property owner he is a playboy of course but he is also a very rich man with connections. So let the games begin with Rome decides that he wants Elisabetta. I am a huge fan of this author's writing. I would recommend this book!

This is my first read from Dani Rene and she did not disappoint. Rome and Elisabet are 2 strangers who meet through Elisabet purchasing property. Little did this playboy Rome know .... she was about to steal his heart.

They both have secrets from their pasts that they try to protect from each other. The sex scenes in this book are off the charts... they passion that electrifies between them is scorching hot ... will they be able to get past their baggage from their past... will Rome finally be off the market and no longer play the playboy scene?

Find out and get on this hot steamy ride !

Only One Night was a steamy and surprisingly sweet feel good romance.

Rome's determination to get to know Elisabet a bit better after she knocked his world for a loop during their first meeting grabbed my attention quickly. He kept me constantly entertained as I watched the well known playboy and businessman learn there was more to life than his next acquisition. For her part, Elisabet was just as drawn to Rome but determined to keep her hard-won independence. I definitely enjoyed their heated and witty exchanges.

With a bit of intrigue, a few secrets and twists along the plus plenty of steamy moments Only One Night made for a delightful read.

Chemistry that makes the pages burn

Elisbet and Rome have a chemistry that can be felt through the pages. Only one night, as most go, don't always go as planned. Especially when there is an undeniable chemistry. Elisbet is trying to start something new, something of her own and dealing with her past. Rome is all Alpha and known for getting what he wants. And when these two come together the pages begin to burn. "By learning that not every day is promised to us. And knowing that if we delay what we want because of ghosts that haunt us, we'll never live." Absolutely loved that phrase.
