Katie Reus® is the USA Today bestselling author of the Endgame trilogy, the MacArthur Family series and the Deadly Ops series. She fell in love with romance at a young age thanks to books she pilfered from her mom's stash. Years later she loves reading romance almost as much as she loves writing it. However, she didn't always know she wanted to be a writer. After changing majors many times, she finally graduated with a degree in psychology. Not long after that she discovered a new love. Writing. She now spends her days writing paranormal romance and sexy romantic suspense.
2nd book in the Verona Bay series. Spinoff from Redemption Harbor. Romantic suspense. Can be read as a stand-alone.
Autumn is in witness protection and still has a active threat after her. Lincoln is the sheriff, her next door neighbor, and lover. When danger gets closer, Lincoln and her friends will protector her. She’s found a home in Verona Bay and wants to stay.
Immediately gripping and action packed. Multiple storylines and twists makes this a fast and engaging read. With Autumn and Lincoln moving their relationship from neighbors to lovers and friends, it includes some hot and steamy pages too. Romantic suspense with all the feels.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to keep.
I loved the first book in this series Dark Memento, however in comparison Deadly Past fell seriously short. When I pick up a romantic suspense, funnily enough those are the two key elements I want to find and sadly here, neither were particularly forthcoming. Whether I’ll read Easton’s book when the time comes is yet to be decided.

I just love books that are set in a small town setting. The more characters for me to get to know and love, the better a series make for me. That's one of the perks of the Verona Bay series.
Lincoln is also a huge reason why I enjoyed Deadly Past. He's the town's sheriff and has had a thing for his neighbor ever since she moved in. As we get to know Lincoln, he proves to be a true gentleman who’s also very protective. He hinted at being a pretty possessive guy, but unfortunately we don't get to see that side of him only because he was holding back due to Autumn.
Autumn has had some pretty crazy and scary experiences in her life that’s shaped her into being a cautious heroine. This is the big reason Lincoln had to tread a bit lightly around her. While I would have loved to see him more Alpha in this, it was a big reason we got to see how much of a gentleman he is. I'm just as drawn to that characteristic that seems to be rare in books these days.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read. As Lincoln courts Autumn, we have her past catching up to her and a few mysterious things that creep in that keeps us on our feet. We've already got hints for the next couple in the book and I'm very curious about a few of those hints left behind.
I’ve always been partial to a romance that involved neighbors. Katie Reus always writes the type of heroes I love so I was especially excited to read this one.
Autumn and Lincoln were wonderful together. I liked that they’d each been eyeing each other for a while before their opportunity arose. While Lincoln was plenty alpha, and thoroughly protective, he was sensitive to what Autumn wanted and as a result was gentle while he paced his moves towards her.
This is a very fast read and I found it perfect to round out my afternoon. There is a bit of mystery, danger and suspense with a healthy dose of steamy goodness to spice it up. This couple was fire together and I enjoyed every minute of them together!

It's me. The one who hasn't read the first book. I saw it, but no matter how much I love Ms. Reus, I didn't care for the sound of it so I skipped it. This second book is a stand alone and didn't need to read the first one to enjoy this one.
Lincoln has been wanting to ask Autumn out for awhile, but could tell she wouldn't say yes. Autumn has a bad scare that results in a one night stand between them and a baby. A little bit of angst and some drama and an evil person and true love wins in the end.
Katie Reus has written 30 books in 15 years and that, to me, smacks of a formula writer. If that is your jam, jam on. I prefer a bit more in the books I read. The formula in the Verona Bay Series is the damsel in distress, running from a prior tragic past or trauma. Not a bad formula and the execution, in this book. kept me interested at least.
Sheriff Lincoln Jordan is off the charts hot and the prize catch in small Verona Bay, FL. He has two older brothers, one caught and one not (a book down the road?), but I digress. The family is solid with a capital "S" but Lincoln, in spite of all his hotness, is not a player. In fact, he has his eye on his beautiful. mysterious next-door neighbor.
Autumn Perez is an art teacher at the local high school. She has been in Verona Bay for a few years and has friends and is well thought of in the community. She also has a secret that, if revealed, could bring death to the doorstep. The very last thing she wants it to be involved on any level with her sexy cop next door neighbor.
Autumn's life begins to start crashing around her when she is caught up in a bank robbery. Her relationship changes with Lincoln when the passion they both have ignites ending in an unplanned pregnancy. Not a complication Autumn was expecting. But even with a new name and a new life, Autumn's life is still not safe, and Lincoln will need to use all his instincts to keep her and their unborn child safe.
2.5 - "What would it take for you to give us a real chance…" Stars!
We return to Verona Bay for book two in the series; Deadly Past giving us Sheriff Lincoln Jordan’s story. The youngest of the Jordan siblings meets his match with artist and reserved next-door neighbour Autumn Perez.
It was a constant struggle to hide her feelings from him…
I am usually a huge fan of anything Katie writes, but Deadly Past is probably the least favourite book i have read from her so far. For me it felt like a draft rather than a full book, what with the off the page sex at the beginning of the story, which this couple needed to have on the page to establish the connection between them. To the lack of any real meaningful time spent together until the last quarter of the book. The many POVs and plot bunnies that were thrown in didn’t help either, because for such a short book they were at the same time too much, but also not enough because all aspects just felt very under-developed and a few of them lacking in any real relevance to the overall story.
She wasn’t going to let the past drown her…
Essentially the romance was lacking, and the suspense wasn’t suspenseful because the small amount that wasn’t given away in the multiple POVs was predictably guessable, which in a book of this genre are the key elements to it being a successful story. I liked Lincoln and Autumn when they were together, and the unplanned pregnancy trope is in general one of my favourites, but I feel the author barely scratched the surface in us getting to know them as a couple. As I said they spent hardly any time together, through the majority of the book, even her revelation that she was pregnant was delivered with very little fanfare or real surprise. The side story with Adeline & Mac has enough going for it to be a novella all on its own but it was slotted in as more of a filler than being given any real gravitas.
I didn’t struggle to read it, but I found myself at the 75% mark before I actually felt any real investment in the story. Not a winner on this occasion, but you can’t please all the people all the time, and I am sure that the authors next release will be of the usual standard I have come to expect from her.

Autumn Perez witnessed the dumping of a body by the son of a powerful & wealthy family that sent her into witness protection. Ten years later she is following the rules set up by FBI Witness Protection program and no one in Verona Bay knows she’s hiding.
Her neighbor, Sheriff Lincoln Jordan, has been biding his time for his gorgeous talented neighbor for some time, but the timing just never seemed right. When she begins calling on him for help more often, he decides the time is right….Right now.
Autumn and Lincoln had a night of intense passion which left him wanting more yet she kept pushing him away. When the real reason why she wanted to keep her distance becomes clear, Lincoln makes it his mission to keep her safe.
But he needs her to trust him because the threats against her from her past are getting more and more dangerous.
I liked the H, but the h was a bit of a drag. I also don't know how I got so many "I love him, but he's a cop and I could never be with a cop because it's a dangerous job and he's going to die at any moment" books. I hate that trope.

Will her fears come between her and her happiness...
I have discovered the author with her paranormal romances, so when I saw this one listed to be released soon, I jumped on the opportunity. I had no idea what to expect, yet I was surprised to have plural points of view other than the two main characters. Both heroes are kind and caring persons, Lincoln is the epitome of the dream boyfriend, protective and understanding, not one to give up when he is certain to have met the right woman for him. Autumn had most of her choices and dreams taken from her when she entered the witnesses protection program. Now a decade later, she has built a new life for herself, so she won’t budge and be moved elsewhere, whatever the risks. So while the bad guys operate behind her back to exact their revenge, she must decide if a future of loneliness is one she really wants as she would have to let go of her past fears.
Their romance is sweet and long due, following its fated path once she faces the issues holding her back. The suspense part was easy to see coming, and secondary to the plot. There is also an insight about I suppose the couple who will be featured in the next book, I will definitively want to read. In all, a nice and fast paced read. 4 stars
I was granted an advance copy by the author, here is my true and unbiased opinion.
Autumn Perez witnessed the dumping of a body that sent her into witness protection. Ten years later she is following the rules to a t and no one in Verona Bay knows she is hiding in plain sight.
Her neighbor, Lincoln Jordan, has been wanting to get to know his neighbor for some time, but the timing never seemed right. When she begins calling on him for help more often, he decides the time is right. After one hot night, Autumn is pregnant, so though she already had roots in Verona Bay, it was even more important she protect her ability to stay there so her baby could know it’s father.
There were parts of this story I really liked. Lincoln is a great hero in uniform. He is one of those guys just built to protect the people around him. Autumn is self-sufficient and involved in the community. As individuals I loved them both. Together, they had sparks and I loved what they became, but I also kind of wished there was more time together as their relationship evolved. I would have thought the protective streak would have kicked in harder when Autumn told Lincoln she was pregnant, but he led her lead the pace instead which made it harder to feel things building.
There was a lot going on in this story, with Autumn’s witness protection status, her pregnancy, and some scary events happening with the side characters. Parts of the suspense were given away early because of the multiple narrators, but there was enough left to wonder about that the pages kept turning. This was a quick read and though it wasn’t heavy on either romance or suspense, it was an entertaining page turner. I loved the little hints of Adeline and Mac in the background and can’t help but hope for more from this series in the future.
Deadly Past is the second book in the Verona Bay series but can be read as a stand-alone. This was a new author to me and I’m so glad I have it a try. It was well-written, fast paced, full of intrigue, and heaps of danger. The characters were charming and so easy to fall in love with. It caught my attention right away and the danger and suspense keep me reading until the end. Autumn Perez had witnessed a murder and after being a witness at his trial she had to go into the witness protection program. She was tired of moving around and had made plenty of friends in Verona Bay. She didn’t want to move again, especially since she was pregnant with her neighbor’s child. Lincoln Jordan was the sheriff of Verona Bay and loved the town. He was attracted to his neighbor, Autumn but he was trying to respect the boundaries she put in place. Discovering she was pregnant, made him feel more protective of her. Keeping her safe became a priority when he learns about her past. I truly enjoyed reading this book and meeting all the small town of Verona Bay. I will certainly be watching for future books by this author. I received an ARC from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow. What a great read. I read it non stop. I was so involved in these characters, this town and this story. Autumn is in the witness protection program, never allowing herself to get too close to anyone. Her Sheriff/ Neighbor/ town hottie would love to change that! This is my first book by this author, and I don’t know why, but that changes now... this author will forever be on my TBR list ! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review
Huge fan! I love that this author writes about the most yummy good guys and you definitely know who the bad guys are but Autumn is especially sweet female character and the chemistry between these two is off the charts!
Wirh Autumn's past life she tries to keep most people as distant as possible without being totally alone, but when she has a weak moment with her hunky neighbor sheriff she never dreams of what happens next.

This was short, sweet and lovely. Katie Reus is magic for me in any form, I love the paranormal series the best, but her action packed and suspense books are excellent as well. I'm so glad she is so prolific, I look forward to each release and always spend a few hours of fun escapist reading. I haven't gotten the first book in this series, but this new world seems a great blend of suspense, small town romance and interesting characters. Recommend!
Autumn Perez aka Ana Diaz witnessed a murder when she was twenty-two, she had to change her entire life after testifying against the killer. Fast forward ten years later, she'd been living in Verona Bay as an art teaching at the local high school. She found herself in a similar situation as ten years ago and the U.S. Marshals wanted to uproot her again. But she wasn't having any of it, she was tired of running, she loved her life and her friends. Plus she was pregnant with her neighbor's child, sheriff Lincoln Jordan.
Lincoln Jordan, Lucas's brother (DARK MEMENTO) and sheriff of Verona Bay. He had been attracted to his smart and beautiful neighbor from the first moment they met. They had a night of intense passion that was incredible, it left him wanting more yet she kept pushing him away, when the real reason why she wanted to keep her distance became clear. He made it his mission to keep her safe.
He needed her to learn to trust him cause the threats against her were getting more and more dangerous. Autumn's past caught up with her, putting herself and her loved ones in grave danger especially her unborn child. Together the lovebirds handled the enemies like the amazing duo they were.
It was a treat to catch with old characters and meeting new ones. Serenity being great friends with Autumn was a delightful treat. I also enjoyed the relationship that both women had with Adeline, as well as the one that was growing between the latter and Mac Collins.
Linc and Autumn got their HEA and they couldn't be happier.
DEADLY PAST is the second installment in Katie Reus' VERONA BAY series. It was fascinating, emotional and oh so incredibly breathtaking. Katie Reus had me on the edge of my seat and I loved every second of it. Five Golden Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
****I received this book, without any obligation to review.****
Loved this short, compelling romantic suspense! Great writing, and I fell in love with Autumn’s positive attitude in spite of the tough deck she’s been dealt. Non-stop action and fab characters!
Okay it did end up getting spicy. Lol. I read this bc it’s been sitting on my kindle for years and I’m still in my year of reading (unread) books I own. This is a romantic thriller which isn’t my normal genre but I enjoyed. Think hallmark but with murder and spice. 3 stars.
This book has all the elements of books I love: a surprise pregnancy, a dog, and some steam. My problem was I didn't like Ana/Autumn. I thought she was too much of a martyr with her not wanting to get too close to anyone, including Lincoln who is the father to her child. And I thought he was too wimpy for not making a stand soon enough.
I'm ahead of myself here. Autumn is in the Witness Protection Program after not only witnessing a man dumping a body in a dumpster, but taking pictures of the bad guy, too and handing them over to the police. The guy who dumped the body had a rich daddy and had never had any sort of accountability...you get the idea. Autumn has been moved around and wants to stay in Verona Bay now. She's got friends, a job, and is tired of being isolated and now she's pregnant by the guy next door.
Lincoln is the sheriff in town and has had his eye on Autumn for quite awhile. He caught her at a weak moment and they spent the night together. It happens. When he finds out that she's pregnant, I really was hoping that he'd go all alpha on her and demand to protect her, but that didn't happen. Rather he eased her into the idea of being with him, which isn't a bad thing really, but I didn't get the feeling that he was excited about being the father to a child he was having with a woman he barely knew. I can't blame him, but I still give him more than a thumbs-up for sticking with her. I have to admit that I thought she was so much of a martyr and so self-absorbed that she would've been okay with raising the child by herself. She caught me as the type that likes to be a hero.
I liked Lincoln. How could I not? He was a real stand-up guy, conscientious, and just an overall good person. I just wish he'd ended up with someone else.
As for the rest of the book, I didn't feel these two falling in love. I saw the lust and the sex scenes were really hot, but I didn't feel the love. I also didn't get a look at Lincoln, either. There really wasn't a physical description of him and I need that to connect with a character. There was more of a description of Autumn, but not much.
Regardless, the story is actually very good. It's suspenseful, had some action in it especially toward the end, and a nice twist that I didn't see coming. I liked Lincoln, tolerated Autumn, but loved the end despite it all.
*I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
What you usually get with this author is a sweet, alpha protective, great guy hero who patiently waits for his lady love to realize love is inevitable between them. Then due to some graphic smexy scenes, we find out just how naughty this good guy can be. Sure, sometimes he can be a knucklehead for a little while, too, but that is definitely not the case here. Lincoln is a stand up guy, whether it be protecting Autumn or respecting her by giving her the space she needs. He’s like the perfect book boyfriend.
Regarding Autumn, her past, present predicament, and dramatic wrap up conclusion played out predictably for me. So at even only 271 pages, I breezed right through this book faster than usual. Likely because I found myself skimming several sections. Hanging onto every word didn’t always seem necessary. I was getting the gist of things, especially lengthy conversations with sub-characters, so found myself surfing waiting for something unexpected to happen. With a couple completely unrelated to the romantic plot events thrown in, I felt quite a bit of time was spent setting the stage for at least two future books. Time which may have been better spent focused on Lincoln and Autumn.
Overall, it is impossible not to love Lincoln. You also can’t help but want the best for Autumn. Together their relationship felt rather rushed. I’d say I felt their attraction and chemistry more so than undying, unwavering love. They simply hadn’t spent that much time together. No doubt they will get there soon enough and will live happily ever after. We'll likely see them again in future sequels, too.
Title: Deadly Past, Series: Veronica Bay (Book 2), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 271, pub date: 10/20/20, stand-alone but part of a series, sweet alpha protective good guy sheriff hero, surprise you’re a daddy, some present and flashbacks of violence, infatuated, attracted to each other neighbors, romance safe, rushed relationship feelings, bad guy drama played out predictably.

I just loved Autumn ... she went through so much at such a young age and came out stronger. And who wouldn’t want a hunk like Lincoln looking out for them? I really liked that their relationship developed over time even though they both could feel the electricity between them. I also loved the mystery of who was doing what to screw with Autumn’s life ... was it her past coming back to haunt her or was it someone from her present? Although this book can be read as a stand-alone, I think that I would have related to the other characters more had I read the 1st book ... which I will totally go back and read. I can’t wait for the next book ... which I presume will be the other brother’s story.
When Autumn was 22 she witnessed a man hoisting a dead body into a dumpster and the pictures she took of him along with her testimony sent him away for life. Because of 2 attempts on her life she entered witness protection. Ten years later she has finally found a place she wants to call home. A place where she has friends, a job she loves and a home she’s made her own. But one day she’s in the bank when it gets robbed and she’s afraid her picture will get out there and she will be found. So when Lincoln, the Sheriff and her neighbour, comes over to console her, they end up having a hot night of passion.
Lincoln has had his eye on Autumn for awhile and after the night they spent together, he wants to make her his. But she won’t have any part of it ... so for now he’ll bide his time and be her friend. When they found out that they are going to be parents, Lincoln’s protective nature takes over. When strange things start to happen to Autumn, she fears she’s been found.

Katie Reus’s romantic suspense & paranormal romance books are reliably sexy & entertaining with adventurous action plots, but unfortunately Deadly Past falls flat for me.
Autumn Perez was Ana Diaz before witnessing someone trying to dump a body. Now she’s living in Verona Bay & a member of WITSEC. After witnessing another crime, a bank robbery, she seeks comfort in the arms of her hot sheriff neighbor, Lincoln Jordan.
But their one night stand turns into a surprise pregnancy situation, made more complicated when someone seems to be threatening Autumn’s safety.
Lincoln’s an alpha who wants Autumn badly; he’s also content to give her space in the hopes that she’ll want something serious with him. I love how he respects her boundaries & how he even sets his own.
Deadly Past *is sexy & I enjoyed the round of secondary characters.
But I have a couple of substantial issues with the book, too. The romance between Lincoln & Autumn just doesn’t feel super believable to me. Instead it seems rushed. I wondered how much they really knew one another, beyond I think one serious convo about their pasts & the fact that they’re having a baby.
I can respect that relationships can & usually do move faster in romantic suspense but something about this one just doesn’t work well for me.
This book also has a lot of dramatic plot points & several of them aren’t related to the main story being told—and honestly, in my reading, distract from it.
Sadly I didn’t love this romance but I’m looking forward to reading a lot more by the author!
2.5⭐️. Deadly Past is out on October 20th. Thanks to the publisher & Netgalley for the complimentary ARC. All opinions provided are my own.
This book was a lot of. I was hooked from the start and while I liked how the whole mystery/suspense thing played out, I simply loved watching Autumn and Lincoln dance around each other and getting to hang out with their friends and family in Verona Bay.
I adored Autumn and Lincoln. Autumn is sweet, sassy and determined. She’s been through a lot, but has found a way to live her life, even if that life is restricted by some pretty stringent rules. Lincoln is simply a good man. Loyal, compassionate and protective. He’s sweet and charming and it was so easy to fall for him.
As for their journey to their HEA, I really enjoyed watching as they danced around and towards each other. The attraction was strong and I liked how they both simply reveled in who the other was. I must say that nudge that brought them that much closer was a surprise, a good one, and I loved where they were at when it was all said and done.
The funny thing about this book was that I loved watching Autumn and Lincoln become more to each other than just neighbors and I loved hanging out with the Verona Bay crew, but I wasn’t all that interested in the suspense part of the story. It was bad, in fact I did enjoy the simplicity of it and how it did add to the story ~ especially when it came to Autumn’s history ~ but it wasn’t what hooked me. It was the small town vibe that did it for me, so there was at least one tease about who may be up on the chopping block next (A & M) and I cannot wait to see if I’m right, because that one is going to be a lot of fun to experience!

Deadly Past is the second book in the Verona Bay series. Although it was a cute story that centered around different characters, there were too many similarities to book one Dark Memento. The leading ladies in both books spent almost the entirety of the stories pushing their heroes away, plus they also had someone from their pasts that caused problems.
Lincoln was an absolute sweetheart and such a good guy. He was extremely patient and never pushed Autumn, although he did make it clear to her that he was interested in pursuing a relationship. Even when Autumn told Lincoln she was pregnant, he still waited patiently hoping she would give him a chance.
Autumn was an okay character. I tried my hardest to like her and to understand her fear of being hurt, but unfortunately I found myself annoyed and thinking Lincoln deserved someone better, someone who would appreciate the kind of man he was. I got aggravated when she blew him off after their heated night, and then I was frustrated that she kept her distance once she learned she was pregnant. I mean, they both liked each other, and she wanted to be with him as much as he did her.
I think Adeline and Mac will be the next couple in this series, but I’m not sure I’ll read that one. Adeline is already distancing herself from Mac, and basically walked off when he asked her out. She has scars on her back and her inner dialogue was thinking about something terrible from her past. Therefore it looks like the third book will be another stubborn leading lady with a dangerous past that comes back to cause problems.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! I picked it up, settled in to read, and looked up later having been entertained throughout. I missed book one in the series but had no trouble reading this story without having read the previous book.
What I liked: * The prologue: sets the stage for why Ana became Autumn and made me know I liked her in both periods of her life * Autumn: strong, smart, kind, conflicted, artistic, canine lover, and more. I really liked her and hoped she would find her way to a HEA with Lincoln. * Lincoln: my oh my…meeting him and the morning after the night before…he seemed HOT and hardy and then I found out he was stable, kind, caring, and an all around good person perfect for Autumn. * The supporting characters made me want to know more about the town and the series that will unfold * That the many threads within the story were all tied up by the end of the story. * Wondering about who would have their story told next…there were some intriguing women I wouldn’t mind hearing more about. * That the bad guys were dealt with by the end of the story
What I didn’t like: * The bad guys…the main ones and those providing support to them
Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I read more in this series/by this author? Definitely
Thank you to NetGalley and KR Press, LLC for the ARC – This is my honest review.
Chief of Police? OK count me in! Well written but a bit formulaic story about a young woman who witnesses (and photographs) the dumping of a body. After the trial she is whisked away into witness security and after a few moves she decides she never wants to leave Verona Bay. It is ten years after the trial and Autumn feels at home in this town. Plus she is pregnant after a hot one night stand with her neighbor, police chief Lincoln. Of course, her past makes an appearance during this time and Autumn and Lincoln have to fight for their future.
The story felt like one I have read so many times before so it has to be the relationship that draws me in and somehow I kept waiting for the chemistry and fireworks. Still a very good read by this author!
*** I received an ARC from Netgalley for which I thank the publisher. This is my honest and voluntary review. ***
After doing the right thing the only way for Autumn to protect herself was to leave her life behind and she has spent the last decade creating a new one with a new identity. Spending the night with her neighbor and finding out she was pregnant was difficult enough but finding out her past was about to catch up with her was a complication she didn’t need.
Lincoln can see that Autumn is cautious when it comes to letting people close even if he didn’t know why. When he had the opportunity to pursue his feelings for her he wasn’t about to walk away but now that he is pregnant he is determined to convince her that one night was not enough but first he must protect her from the danger that is looming ever closer.
A heartwarming romance and some intrigue combine into a story that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
Deadly Past was a real page turner of a story. That takes a subtle threat against art teacher Autumn, and slowly builds the suspense and tension to a point where you're not sure where the danger is going to come from and who is going to strike first. And whilst everything was a little too neatly tied up in the end, I did really enjoy the story. So much so, I read it in one morning. Not to mention I really loved the small town setting, the characters, and the romance, which was well-developed and engaging. And I really hope there is more to come from this series in the future. Would happily recommend.
**I was kindly provided with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**
Deadly Past is an engaging tale of a brave young woman overcoming her past and learning to love. Autumn is a classic example of what happens when you are forced to give up the life you’ve built to protect yourself from those who seek to do you harm. She’s done everything right but it has come at a cost. She’s afraid to let anyone in. Maybe Sheriff Lincoln Jordan can crack the wall she’s built around her heart. I really enjoyed watching these two find
. This story started out strong! I was hooked from the very first chapter! I love a good romance story with some mystery involved and this one did not disappoint. Stop reading reviews and just read the blurb - best to go in blind with this one.
