Konstantin: I took her to protect her. To keep her safe. Now she wants more. She wants to claim my heart. She says she will fight for me, for us. Trouble is, I don’t know if I have anything left to give.
Cassie: He took me to keep me safe. My captor, my protector, my lover. I want more. He’s a Bratva king, and every king needs his queen. My heart is on the line, but I won’t give up the fight. Love is war when it comes to the two of us, and this is one war I will win.
This is the final book in the Bratva Blood duet. Please be aware this is a dark romantic suspense and therefore trigger warnings do apply.
Redeeming dark and dangerous heroes one book at a time. Skye Jones is an award winning and USA Today Bestselling Author. She writes dark mafia and contemporary romance as SR Jones, and angsty paranormal romance as Skye.
When not writing Skye can be found reading, dog herding, or watching gritty dramas on Netflix with her husband. She lives in the grey, windswept north of England, which fuels her taste for the dramatic and the gothic.
Good series. I like Konstantin a lot better in this book he just seemed a lot more relatable. Cassie I think for the most part was a lot more mature and not as naive as she was in the previous book.

What a ride! The characters are so vivid...and K just so K!!!!!
SR Jones pulls you in and makes you want more with each book she puts out ! Konstantin and Cassie's story were so engaging with so many twists and turns and I'm so glad they got there HEA with Andrius's quick thinking and strategizing !
Kon and Andrius remembered to zig and zag, to distract their enemies for Cassie....
“You said once you thought we were similar because of that wildness, but we aren’t. You’re hard, and I’m soft, and hard breaks soft.”
“No,” he says, as serious as I’ve ever seen him. “Hard protects soft. Most people, they end up roughed up as life thickens their outer shells. Let me be your shell, Cassie. Let me protect you, and you can stay as beautiful, kind, and sweet as you are now.”
"I shake my head at him, but a small grin tugs at my mouth. “I think I’ve got less girly shit than you,” I shoot back. “I’m not the one with shower gel worth sixty pounds, and shampoo that costs thirty. I’ve got a few basics from Superdrug, and that’s it. You’re the show pony in this relationship, sweet cheeks.”
"He kisses my jaw and then runs three fingers over my face, as if mapping it. “If you leave something behind, it doesn’t hurt if you’ve got something brighter to move toward. I’ve got you to move toward.”
I hope Bodhan and Dasha's story IS NEXT... or Vasily or maybe even Marcus!
So worth waiting for. This is crazy intense and makes you sit on the edge of your seat. The story has unexpected twists and leaves you wanting to know more. Can't wait for the next book.

HOLY WOW! The War is one WILD RIDE, a rollercoaster of thrills, chills, tension, tenderness, complexity, and toe-curling heat. This fast-paced, page-turning romantic suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. I felt every high and every low with my whole heart. The War is a sharply written romantic suspense set in the mafia underworld with complex and compassionate characters, converging mysteries, a thrilling plot with moving parts, and all the feels.
The hero and heroine owned me and I can’t stop feeling their story. The War is the forbidden tale of a handsome and hardened mafia king, and his beautiful and bold queen—forged together by fate—in a world of waging battles and fierce bravery. I fell harder for the dominant and delicious hero, Konstantin, an alpha who reveals his soft edges to his soulmate. Cassie, the sweet, stunning and strong heroine, is Konstantin’s sunshine, the light to shine on his darkness and she grew bolder and more breathtaking in The War.
A fusion of smolder, surrender, and sin, this story seduces the senses while wrapping you in a web of suspense full of thrilling twists and turns. I was fully immersed and highly intoxicated. I FELT ALIVE, and there is no better feeling when reading a heart-stopping suspense! My mind is still stuck in this story, wrapped up in this mastery of words that OWNED ME. The War still OWNS every ounce of me.
ADULT Alpha Male Bratva🐺🍆⛲💪👋🔪🔫 Romance and Adventure💀🔪🔫
Since these exciting, violent 📚books have cliffhanger endings and are all part of Bratva King 👑Konstantin's🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫💪👋 fictional life story, they should be read in order. The prequel, "The Soldier " is the most important, because it describes how this man was formed from childhood into the ruthless Bratva 👑King he is today.
Konstantin🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫💪👋 is trying to turn over the illegal 🚫 side of his vast business empire to several of his Russian lieutenants. He wants to concentrate on his legal holdings in Britain, and in his new found true 💘love, Cassie💃💋, a very naive young barista and wannabe hacker.
Outside forces seem to sense weakness in Konstantin's tight knit military🔪🔫 style organization and attack!
Konstantin 🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫💪👋is a fierce dominant and master Spankenstein👋👋. It's how he lets off the tensions of ruling and scheming for his massive empire.
This book ends in a cliffhanger, leading into a new book about Bohdan, one of Konstantin's👑 lieutenants.

I really enjoyed this second piece of Konstantin and Cassie's story. It was a roller-coaster ride, for sure, full of action, and plotting, and of course heat between our two main characters.
Konstantin still is unsure what to do with his ray of sunshine, but he does need to figure it out. He is cold and hard and in the middle of something he didn't expect. While his close friends have his back, there is only one thing he can think of and that is Cassie.
I feel like Cassie thickened her skin and certainly felt more prepared in the continuation of her crazy life. She too has a choice to make, knowing what Konstantin is, can she see herself with someone like that. She really is a ray of sun, she is also feisty and doesn't lay down for anyone. Well except Konstantin.
Just like part one, part two packed a punch. There were a lot of things going on. A lot of players in the mix. Moves being made, stories I realized I need to go back and read, and a set up for another story to come. I really liked the way all the characters worked together. They all have their strengths. Andrius with deadly aim, Damon with his computer skills, Vasily and Bodhan who are Kon's seconds, all moving in harmony to get things done and eliminate the threat. I enjoyed this story very much, it was just hot enough, entertaining, and heart-pounding.
This is book two of Konstantin and Cassie's story. There is also a prequel that gives the background on how these two met. Please be sure to read The Soldier and The King before reading this book. Cassie is not sure where she stands with Konstantin any more. She thought he at least cared about her but he seems to have played her and only cares what happens to Liza and the baby Liza is carrying. Cassie has vowed that if she gets away from Konstantin's enemies she plans on also getting away from Konstantin and getting back to her safe, simple life. Konstantin has other plans for her and he may not even know what he wants from her just yet. This is an excellent duet and I highly recommend it!
War is the continuation of Konstantin’s and Cassie’s love story. The cliffhanger ends quickly as Andrius and Konstantin plan to get Cassie back. However this sets off a bigger war with the Armenians and Cassie wants no part of this anymore.
So the book is about Cassie and Konstantin finding their way to loving each other. It’s full of mafia violence, spicy sex and the friendships of Konstantin and his pals. Bohdan plays a large part in this book which leads to book 3 in the series.
Konstantin kidnapped Cassie to keep her safe. He never planned on falling for her. Cassie was more grown up in this story. A passionate story with plenty of drama.
Though the story was good , being a dark romance book, it seriously lacked the steam and the hotness and chemistry between the hero and the heroine. Hence , disappointed. :")
Don’t let this fool you that any type of conclusion is within, this is an ongoing Bratva/Mafia drama that ticks all the right boxes. Very well written and awesome characters.
Too much going on. Bodhan’s side story which I’m guessing is to prep the reader for the next book in the series but it takes away from Cassie and Konstantin.
This is the second and final book in this duet and I do recommend reading them in order. Time for the war as come and Konstantin as his soldiers assembled as he plans to protect everything that belongs to him including Cassie. Will he be able to let down his walls enough to show Cassie how he feels about her? Intense, emotional and steamy. I loved it!
Way better then the last one. Still really didn’t get the thrill between Kon and Cassie. I also got tired of then both saying how they weren’t good enough for each other. Cassie was very ungrateful at times. Andrius is the best, love him! Will read the next book.
So much takes place in this book. It still has my hands shaking and my heart racing. If you've read the teaser to the book then you know Konstantin, aka K., has taken Cassie in order to keep her safe. The twists and turns, the paranoia of whom to trust, the many visits to the hospital, the back and forth of being drawn into each because of the overwhelming chemistry, and then backing off when the reality of the situation kicks in. I absolutely love the way S. R. Jones takes the storyline, inserts flawed characters that always have personality traits that can be related to, and then adds all the spices to make it complete. This individual story gives us a happy for now ending for Konstantin and Cassie with more to come. I can't wait for Bohdan's story.
With Popov dead, Konstantin still has to face the Armenian mob if he wants to protect Cassie and his son Michael. With the help of Andrius, Vasily, Bodhan and the English team, he will devise a plan to put and end to the threat once and for all. But Cassie doesn’t want this life full on dangers so Konstantin will have to decide what is more important to him, if a life with Cassie or to remain King.
“No, Cassie, you don’t annoy me. An annoyance is like a gnat buzzing around, you simply want it gone. You? You infuriate me. And intrigue me. I could watch you doing the simplest of things for days and not get bored. You make me feel. It’s new.”
“No, I disapprove of all this because I see it as trapping you in a dangerous life, and I don’t want anything to happen to you. It’s not about some form of reverse snobbery; it’s about me wanting you free.” “I am free,” he says with a laugh. “I’m the motherfucking king, Cassie. You don’t get any freer than that. I’m the one who gives the orders, and I clawed my way to being that person. I’m not the one taking orders.” I get what he’s saying, but I see it differently. “But, if you’re a king trapped in endless wars, then you’re just another soldier at the end of the day. Another potential casualty, which breaks me a little bit every day.”
“You don’t love me, Konstantin. You’ve spent enough time telling me you don’t love me. You only think you do because you thought I was going to die, and you had a guilty moment.” “Oh no, sunshine. My come to Jesus moment came before your attack.” It did? “When?” “When I saw you looking at the sculptures with such awe, it hit me how much I wanted to show you the world. How much I wanted you with me when I went to Rome or to Moscow. I was thinking all those things and watching you, and it hit me. I’ve been a fucking coward.” He spits the words out. “I knew in that moment, I loved you. And then…” His voice breaks, and he clears his throat and swallows hard. He looks away and when he looks back, I’m shocked to see tears in his eyes. “Then you bent over, and I saw the blood, and I knew I couldn’t bear to lose you. If you’d have died, I swear Cassie, I’d have ended myself.”“I love you,” I say. He laughs darkly. “I’m sensing a but.” “I can’t live like this.” “Where’s my wild Cassie?” he asks. “Your wild Cassie wants to dance in the rain and have sex on a moonlit beach. She wants to be with you, which is more than enough wildness for any woman. She doesn’t want her wildness to result in being kidnapped, stabbed, or shot at.” “No one has shot at you,” he says. Then grumpily amends. “Technically, they weren’t shooting at you.” “Give it time,” I reply. We stare at one another. “Do you really love me?” “Fuck, yes.” “Then get out of the game.” His face hardens. “There is no out.” “There’s always an out, Konstantin. One just has to find it.”
Bodhan’s book promises to be epic seeing what I have read about this character in this book. In love with a woman he hates and who after many years has found again.
Oh, fucking no. She’s fucking mine. Mine to hate. Mine to love. Mine to either reap unholy vengeance on, or ply with endless love. The moment our gazes collide, I feel a jolt like nothing I’ve experienced before. It’s better than any drug. Better than any sex I’ve ever had. It’s a pure, intense high. Dasha’s eyes widen, her lips part, and she pales. She pales so much, I think she might faint. We stare at one another, and someone is talking to her, but she doesn’t answer. Her husband notices, frowning down at her, and he follows her gaze right to me. Yeah that’s right. Look upon the face of the man who’s going to make you suffer, fucker.
So this book finishes the duet telling the main story of Cassie and Konstantin. So I've said it's both a HEA and a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger - one of the epilogue is focused on Bohdan whom the next tale will be about. It tells us the barest tidbits of info to get you itching to read the next book.... And it works!! I'm intrigued. I'm hoping we see Bohdan in a good light despite the constant flicking between love and hate.
But, anyway!
Considering the title was called "The War" we actually didn't see much Mafia - gun-blood-guts action. I know when we read a book about the Mafia and we see a war mentioned we assume that's what it will be. But on this occasion, I believe its a war on so many different fronts and even tho there's no guts there's still damage.
The main one is obviously with Cassie. They both struggle with the pain of being abandoned when young, and both deal with it differently as an adult. Where K is closed off, Cassie craves love. This causes clashes when she wants more and he can't give it. The usual give and take needs to be sorted out if they have any chance of a future - together.
Cassie has an internal war about this lifestyle. It terrifies her, esp after being knifed in Paris. Despite knowing K would be by her side, is that enough?
K has to decide if he can give up the kind of life his always lived and known, to hand over the reugns
The actual physical war itself? It seemed the whole book was spent planning how to overcome it and then in the last 20% a rapid shoot out occurred. Casualties on both side....
It's actually kinda refreshing to have a Mafia book with pretty much no violence AND still keep the reader invested in the story.
Ms Jones is an expert story teller. She has a fantastic way of knowing what action is needed where and when. The story itself flows perfectly with no screeching halts and no areas that made me skim read. The steamy scenes were written so well you could visualise them with such ease - I'd advise against reading this in public!!! I found the scene in the steam room a particular pulse racer!!! I couldn't see any spelling or grammatical errors. Characters were all well developed, introduced well with interaction with others spot on!
I'm really hoping the rest of the series follow in this duets footsteps! And I also hope to see Cassie and Konstantin in the background in future books! And of course, Gulliver!!
A good read, recommended

A Dark Mafia Romance Series The Soldier: Bravta Blood Prequel (Book 1) The King; Bravta Blood (Book 2) The War; Bravta Blood Two (Book 3) By S R Jones The Soldier (Book 1) Any good that "K" had left in parted when he was betrayed by his father. When he gets word of the act his father committed, all hell breaks loose! Born and raised in poverty with his father punkimg out on responsibilities, Konstantin was forced to become the man of the house at the age of 13. He did whatever odd jobs he could to make ends meet. Once losing the only people he held close to his heart, he vowed to become the most powerful man ever. With "k's" lifestyle, he had no room in his heart for love. The only thing a woman could do for him was be beautiful and get his nut released 🤷🏾♀️. That is until Cassie came along... The King (Book 2) Meh I absolutely can't stand rehashing scences and it was a lot of that in this book. I was also expecting "K" to really show the smart and dominant side that got him to point he was at in life. The King was not walking in the steps of a king at all. He actually was more of a king in his younger years, but the older he gets, he is falling off. He was making moves and ignoring signs that "kings" and men of his caliber just don't do. I really hope the King show up in book 3. Cassie, I like her🤷🏾♀️. I think she's about to give "K" a run for his money. Well literally she already did that but I believe she has what it takes to make "K" fall head over hills for her. She needs to put on her grown woman panties if she wants to live a life with "K" though. Shame on you Dennis! You really let coochie let you make the biggest mistake of your life 🤨 Although this book became slow and boring because of the repeats, it most definitely picked up so I'm glad I did not give up on reading it. The War (Book 3) Ummmm I really don't know how I feel about The War. I think it was kind of mediocre for me because I am use to so much action when dealing with a Man of "K's" status. However, I am smitten by him and Cassie's love story. I would even love to see the direction King is taking his life. I'm pretty excited about his new endeavors. Just hope the author can pull it off; writing it with much excitement and a lot of action. Once the spin-off books are finished, I will definitely see what's popping Series as a whole 4*
The last development in the previous story in the Bratva Blood series had me agonizing over how the event would play out, and SR Jones certainly took me on an enthralling journey as this situation unfolded along with all the riveting incidents that follow. THE WAR is one of those stories where I was held spellbound from start to finish, as Konstantin and Cassie face so many challenges, both physical and emotional, and I had no idea if they would come out alive or have their hearts broken when the ordeals concluded.
When it seems the world that Konstantin Silvanov has created for himself could crumble if even one wrong decision is made, the Bratva crime boss prepares to fight for the wrongs done to him and those who work for him. Yet his top priority is making certain Cassie Evans remains safe, even though he never planned on her actually being someone that is important to him when he brought her into his life. Although his past history along with the way he currently conducts many of his business dealings makes it extremely difficult for Konstantin to let his emotions be affected by Cassie, she is not someone who gives up easily when what is between them could finally bring her the joy that she has long craved.
While the backgrounds of Konstantin and Cassie may not be at all alike, the connection between them seems so convincing. There may be numerous ups and downs in their relationship, yet each of their reactions are always so true-to-life and backed by honest inner feelings. Both of their current lives are still very influenced by the past, and I wondered if they would ever be able to overcome the power of these negative feelings. Danger in THE WAR is constant, and it could crop up at any time. I was frequently taken by surprise when a threat arose, and I nervously waited as each detail about the situation unfolded. Sexual encounters in the story are often overflowing with sincere emotions plus very fiery passion, which I always felt Konstantin and Cassie were conveying with openness. SR Jones skillfully interweaves action, suspense, and emotional issues to create an outstanding mafia romance.
Nervous and anxious, these were the feeling that the arrival of this book evoked in me. Nervous because I was imagining all the worst scenarios of things that might happen and anxious because the suspense always kills me. Would I change a thing about it? Nope, not a thing. I love Mafia books and I can't get enough of them. SR Jones knows how to write them. She's feisty, raw, and a bit wild. Just the way I like it. I'm always nagging her about wanting more and she's a sweetheart. The War is her latest release and it's the second book of the Bratva Blood series. But first things first, this book is not a standalone, therefore you must read the Prequel, The Soldier, Book one The King, and only then The War. You must get ready because this series will knock you on your arse. This book continues to explore the lives of Konstantin and Cassie. As you already know, Konstantin is one raw man, used to have things done his way or no way. One look at Cassie and he knows what he wants and needs from her. But... If I thought that the first book was intense... After reading this one of changed my mind. It was perfect to witness these two change so much. Superb plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense. It was perfect from the first page till The End appeared. Once I started to read it, I couldn't put it down. And once I needed to stop, I would see myself counting down the minutes to start reading again. So much was happening that I needed to keep reading, and reading to find out what the hell was going to happen next. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that's for sure. There were parts of the book that I saw myself wanting ting to slap someone silly... Jesus, stubborn much? But then there were others that I wanted to hold them, to promise better days and a happy ending. And guys... Hot stuff alert. I really loved this series and I didn't want it to end Another masterpiece SR Jones. Another breathtaking story that melted my heart and panties, by the way. Gimme Bohdan and Dasha, please. I need those two... So many questions lurking in the shadows... I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Konstantin SiIvanov is the leader of the Bratva and a businessman who is in the middle of a war waged by one of his enemies. Luckily he has gained some allies along the way and he knows he will need them by his side to get back what has been taken from him. Cassie Evans knows she has made some huge mistakes when it comes to Konstantin but does she mean enough to him for him to risk it all? Can Konstantin show Cassie that he is over the ghosts in his past or will the life he is involved in take precedent and cause him to lose the love he never expected? This was such a great conclusion to the story of Konstantin and Cassie and I am so happy that we are getting more with Bodhan!! I loved the beginning of the book with Konstantin and Andrius and how they worked together for the better of both of them. Konstantin had a rough life and in this book you really see his more sensitive side and how he discovered what real love is and how he knew what he had to do to keep it. I totally understood where Cassie was coming from in this book but I also felt bad for Konstantin having to make some really big decisions with only hoping that Cassie would accept everything and that she truly loved him enough to be there. I loved the proposition that Andrius came to Konstantin with and I am really hoping that means we are going to be having way more of this series in the future. The end with the Armenians was interesting and I am really curious if we are going to be getting more answers to everything with that in a future book. I was freaking out a little about Marcus but I am super excited about where he is going so I may get more of him!! I am so excited for more books coming and I really hope this is a whole new huge series!!- By Rebecca
The finale of Bratva Blood Duet was action packed and left me wanting more.
Konstantin does not trust easily and the betrayal he endures makes him that much more paranoid and leaves him questioning so much. There is more than one war that Konstantin is fighting, and he needs to find a way to win them both and keep the woman that he can’t seem to forget.
Cassie is so afraid of the situation she finds herself in and she wants to go home, but she can’t if she wants to live. When Konstantin takes Cassie to Paris things get a bit more confusing for her. When danger finds her in Paris, she has to decide whether she can find a way to live with Konstantin or if she has to give him up for good. It’s a real battle in her mind.
I loved this finale of this Duet. I couldn’t wait to start it and hated to see that I had finished it. I want more of Konstantin, Cassie, Vasily, Bohdan, Andrius and the others. They bring this book to life and are very entertaining. Konstantin is a ruthless Pakhan and businessman. He will win this war if it kills him and he will protect Cassie at all costs while doing it. The men in this story were ruthless and cunning. I give this book a 5-star review and cannot wait for more of these characters. I highly recommend this Duet to readers that love to read books that lead to Alpha, strong men finding the one person that makes them question everything they believed about themselves. Konstantin and Cassie have more than one battle going on is this story and the outcome may surprise you.
💖💖AN AVALANCHE OF EMOTIONS💖💖 Burning it down! Fantastic job Jones, thanks for sharing the little gem with us.
OUTSTANDING READ!!! 10/10 I WISH I COULD GIVE IT MORE STARS wow where to start i dont want to give too much away. Please please make sure to read these books in order for the full story but be warded you will be on the edge of your seat and sometimes you dont know what is going to happen next My heart really went out to Cassie at the beginning of this book. And to be stuck with that vile woman. oh she didnt have a good bone in her body!!! But if Konstantin wanted his woman back and to get revenge for the betrayal he suffered he was going to start a war. Konstantin still wasn't open to listen to his feelings for Cassie and if only he would listen to his friend maybe they could of had a better start. The lies he told to save her have done damage and with Liza sprouting off more lies, Cassie doesn't believe in what they had anymore But Cassie had to understand she was never going to get away from the world she has now seen. But can Konstantin win her back? Can they survive what is coming for them???? I just couldnt put this book down. I'm sure I held my breathe so many times and so I've heard ( from my husband) I kept shouting at the book lol. What a brilliant read I can not wait to see what S R Jones has for us next!!!!

I finished this in 7 hours. Soooo, hell yeah I enjoyed it! I enjoyed it more than the first book. More suspense and tension. Also, with the first book I honestly didn't know what would happen between Cassie and Konstantin. Seemed like their chance at being together was bleak. But noooo! We finally got a chance to see them happier and so in love with each other. Wanted to slap K at times because how could he not realize that he's in love with Cassie?! The push and pull between the two made me doubt whether they really loved each other or not. But with two POVs from Bodhan (so excited to read his story!!), us readers can tell that K genuinely loves and cares for Cassie. I'm quite sad that I'm finished with Cassie and K's story. Comparing this to other mafia romance books, this one was definitely different. And I like that! Thinking back to how their first encounter was in a cafe made me fall in love with this series. Don't get me started on how much I love the traveling aspect of the book: London, Paris and Greece. Yup, I love books set in Europe. Brb, while I devour Bodhan's book!! P.S, that epilogue?! Swoon. A man who actually listens to their other half is my absolute kryptonite. P.P.S, K's age was never mentioned in the book. I'm dying to know how much of an age gap there is between Cassie and him!!
The blurb for this book was so interesting that I went back and read the two previous books first - The Soldier, which is the short prequel, and then The King which is the first actual book. I was glad I did! The king ended with a cliffhanger that helped me understand the beginning of this book. The main characters, Cassie, has been kidnapped and is being held prisoner along with an insane, murderous, pregnant woman who has caused no end of trouble. Cassie loves a Bratva lord, Konstantin, who it seems has betrayed her. But there is an intense, creative rescue that results in a war with the Armenian gangsters. Along with descriptions of the complicated love relationship between Cassie and Konstantin, there is some mild BDSM for those readers who look for that kind of thing. But Cassie is really tired of being kidnapped, stabbed, etc. She gives Konstantin the ultimate ultimatum for a Bratva lord - leave the Bratva if you want me to stay with you! Is leaving even possible? And Konstantin has to defeat the Armenians - is THAT even possible?! It's quite a story and I highly recommend reading all three books!

I believe this to be a transition into what could possibly develop into a lot of things. Whether a continuation of this or all the couples from previous novels this author has written.
Two books later, I would have loved to know and connect more with Cassie. I would have loved to have more one on one time with Konstantin and Cassie. Sex, though not overdone, wasn't enough.
I still don't know what they are fighting for and left with many unanswered questions, on account, that I felt like I was missing some back story for the other characters. Turns out I was right.
Still, I loved the characters and absolutely loved the banter between the different men of different backgrounds. As to why Vasily remains a dick? I am not sure.
Paris, London and Corfu. I can't say I didn't love playing in the European pool. A change of scenery from the US was welcomed. I just wish we got to learn more about the cultures and sights. Yes, I wanted a book vacation.
There was so much action, there was no way for you to be bored. However, there was also no direction. Thing is, I don't know if I care enough about Bohdan's storyline to continue the series now but I am sure I will one day. Great group!
This book will keep you on the edge of your seat! It is not a standalone and it picks up where the first book left off. Sometimes you have to do what has to be done to protect what is yours and who you love, consequences be darned. Konstantin is a powerful pakhan, who is amassing an army to take back what has been stolen from him, Cassie. Cassie is a woman who is not used to the world that Konstantin lives in and does not place the same value on material things. The passion between the two is off the charts but Konstantin is unable to admit how he feels for Cassie which leads to some interesting interactions between them. Cassie only wants Konstantin and is unimpressed with his lifestyle. However, as the war rages on, feelings grow stronger. Will this be the impetus that the two need to admit the truth between them? This is one outstanding storyline filled with betrayal, suspense, and drama to the nth degree as readers comb through every single word written on the pages of this book. This is one epic conclusion to this trilogy and I eagerly look forward to reading Bodhan’s book coming the end of August 2020. I highly recommend this series!
