Iris has moved on from missing children to cases of mutilated animals glamoured to look more gruesome than they really are. But that’s just part of the new life Iris is building, she’s still confiding in Tips, breaks things off with Charlie the park ranger and doesn’t mind Adrian so much now that he’s getting his temper in check.
Now comes the really hard part, how will Iris and Adrian convince their boss in addition to the entire enforcement council that they are mates, everything was legal and Adrian doesn’t deserve death. Meanwhile, a hornet’s nest is loosed when a small discovery closes bigger issues. Look, a loose thread to pull in the next outing!
Rating: 4.25stars

Oh the void
I liked this book better than the first one. More answers and a few more questions. The main question answered, but a new one was left open. Hope the next book comes out soon.
