The sixth story in the Sins of Mercy series.
In the grandest of miracles, Mercy is developing a social life. Thanks to her new friend, Mercy spends an evening out enjoying the company of energetic strangers who flirt with her, share their knowledge, and make her feel a little less alone. Yet Mercy shows she’s still on her way to healing when she’s unable to indulge in the same revelries as everyone else.
Luckily there is yet another new friend waiting at home: Excess, the jolly goddess of many kitchen talents. She prepares a feast for Mercy and welcomes the mortal to unload her troubles. In return, Excess unloads on her as well… a bottle of wine full of gluttonous sin!

Acedia tells Mercy more about herself and her cruel sister. Mercy learns that Excess is a very good sin to have😉
I am enjoying this series so much I will miss them all when I’m done. Guess I’ll just have to listen again 😊

The end draws near
The end draws near & yet the fate of Mercy's healing is still so uncertain as to how it will all play out & who she will be after everything she's received & experienced with Acedia & her avatars. As only one final sin is left to visit & heal her? Will she be successful, what will become of Daisy, Acedia & her job? What is Vainglory & what does the darkness intend for Mercy, & can she resist the lure or will Acedia lose another soul to her sister??

Excess caters to Mercy in the best of ways.
Denying ourselves is unhealthy. There's nothing wrong with a little over indulgence every now and again as Mercy learns through Excess.
