The information in this book is dense. It gives you historical chemistry information, and sometimes it is way more than enough, but for the basics it is very thorough, so sort through it for what you need or start reading it from the beginning. It's great either way and your chemistry will get better! It's a worthy book to have especially if you have a background in the subject and want to be stronger in the material.
