Amelia Shea writes contemporary romance. She released her debut novel in 2015, and has followed her passion for series romance ever since. Her writing style includes a little sweet, a little sassy and lots of steam. She loves building stories with settings that become comfortable and familiar, and developing characters who feel real, and though they may be flawed, they learn and grow, and finally deserve a happy ending. When she is not writing, she is obsessed with reading (all genres although she does has a soft spot for romance), coffee (it's more of an addiction but she prefers obsession) and perfecting her "y'all" (just a northern girl living in the south).

Declan is a surprise, a good one

I am sad that this is the last book available in this series. I have been reading them all and they are so good and entertaining. I am so looking forward to Roxanne’s story with Jonah. Each alpha male is similar but in the best way. The females are strong and beautiful in their own way. Each female is like a damsel in need of help and friendships. This book belongs to Declan, a bails man , along with his brother Trent. From a previous book Evie, the BFF of Cassie, catches Declan’s eye and he is determined to help her even though Evie doesn’t want anyone to know her secrets. Too bad the secrets are about y to o find her and it’s very dangerous. The journey begins. . . . Read On!

beyond all my high expectations

I loved reading this story. The characters, well most of them, I wished I had in my life. The story is engaging right from the start. I wanted them to find their peace and discover a happiness beyond and they ever knew. I got my wish but it was not an easy journey for them. Lots of anxiety, fear and caution started it all off. Then came the confrontation and then the resolution. Their HEA was a difficult path but very much worth the journey. Highly recommend this book. I hope there is a book 2 in my future to be read. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.

Very well written. Its my first time reading anything by Amelia. But she has the right amount of sentiment and care in each character, the story is easy to follow with few pitfalls and the smexy sexy times are so good and plenty of it. Not completely hard core. But definitely j/p and protective alpha male with a good hea and even better its not hard to read it without reading the others but this book makes you interested and fond of the supporting characters you want to read all the other books.

So good.

Wow. A girl on the run and a bounty hunter. Think this is a simple happily ever after, but it's not. So much going on. Half truths a drug lord and a less than honest FBI agent. When Declan digs until the truth is revealed he learns what happened to Evie. This has a lot of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to read Evie's story. It was well written.

Loved, Loved!

These two were perfect for each other. Declan was one of the best book heroes ever and I loved Evie too. They were made for each other. I think Amelia gets better and better with each book she writes. The surrounding characters added to the story and I am looking forward to her writing stories about the ones that haven’t had their own yet.

This was an "okay" read for me. I have enjoyed Amelia Shea's other series but for some reason this one just didn't grab me quite as much. Would have gone to four stars but knocked one off due to number of typos.

LOVED IT!

I was shocked when I saw this mini series, I didn't know Ms Amelia had even written it, so I jumped on it in a flash!😘 I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading book 2!

He had her from get go. He knew it. The only thing left was getting her to believe that he loves her. Hard fought. And throw in the Garrisson brothers, boy. You've got some convincing to do. Sweet Evie is in for a treat. Absolutely recommend this book

I have read Amelia Shea's other books and she does not disappoint with the story of Evie and Declan. The fast paced story and sizzling scenes had me hooked from page one. I look forward to what comes next from this author!
