Just snakes and secrets back to back. I don’t like reading dumb characters and Londyn got on my last nerves. I loved Jules but the story seemed slow like 55% in but then it got real. I liked the concept but I need more action.

Page turner

This book was definitely a page turner! Londyn went through a lot but she had a true ride or die friend through Shenea. I can see the author likes to bring people back from the dead, so I was very shocked when Londyn brother Logan came back into the picture. The ending gives way to a part 2. So I can't wait to see if there will be a part 2 in the future!

Jules is the ultimate Heist man, he just pulled off his biggest heist yet, the joy of holding those diamonds is short lived because he’s robbed before the diamonds are even in his hands good. With a bruised ego and failed heist plan still fresh in his mind, Jules is determined to get back what’s his! Unfortunately, the an responsible for robbing him, has gone home to glory, apparently someone kills Logan before Jules could have that satisfaction. Logan did leave something behind though, his beautiful sister Londyn. I love the relationship between Londyn and her brother Logan, even in death she was committed to making him proud. Londyn, is attempting to figure out life without her brother, but she has little idea of the mess he’s left her in. Londyn becomes the number 1 target for his friendemies and a rival. Jules was determined to make Londyn pay the debts of her brother. Similar to Jules’s Heist plan, his Revenge plan has a wrench thrown into it. The Heist, is a journey to see just how far one is willing to go to pull of the ultimate heist, but does the prize change?

A wild ride

Soooo good!!!

Now the story was well plan and very interesting. The heist was full of drama, plot twist and laughs. I love the way Jules was patient with going after what he wanted. The planning, scheming and plotting with each character was my favorite.

Very Interesting

Written extremely well. I enjoyed the storyline for the most part. The book lasted way longer than necessary, in my opinion, especially only to have a cliffhanger. And Londyn was the worst character for me. I literally couldn't stand her, which means the author did a great job. I wasn't surprised by the twists towards the end. It became a bit predictable. I loved trying to find the diamonds, tho. I usually don't rate anything below a 5 but I did enjoy this book. The beginning was fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥 But, it just fizzled out with Londyn and Kai for me.

This book was straight fire all the way through! Jules is the ultimate book bae with those emotion changing eyes. Who knew so many plots could stem from one jewelry heist. Jules and his crew moves to Virginia to recover diamonds that were stole from him after a heist. Only he discovers this won’t be an easy task and in the mist of using Ms Londyn as a pawn he falls for her. And of course that isn’t in the plans. So many other factors came into play while retrieving these diamonds. Londyn was driving me crazy! She was the prime example of a naive and green to the game girl. She frustrated me the first half of the book due to her not being able to see the deceit happening. I knew Kai didn’t go out as quiet as the book made it seem. Kai is going to return full force seeking revenge on everyone including Londyn. This story came with some many plot twists. Chapters full of love, deceit & betrayal. Definitely worth the read.

not so typical urban fiction story

First time reading this author. I decided to read the book because it was a book about a jewel heist gone wrong and it had black characters. That was different and I thought it wasn’t the typical hood fiction. It needs a trigger warning or disclaimer because something takes place that I could’ve done without.
So Jules is fine and good at what he does as a jewelry thief, so much so that he was pulling his last heist after only completing 3-4 of them which made me frown but hey I’m not a jewelry thief and it was explained why he was getting out the game.
The story then continues from there and ends up involving these guys from the hood on some desperate and messy attempt by this one guy at a double cross. Then it really gets wild.
Lying, scheming, cheating, infidelity, betrayal, murder, heartbreak, disloyalty and love. There are some real grimy characters in this book who are willing to say and do anything to get what they want. The plot twists were good.
Londyn is innocent and went through the most. I also felt like a lot of it could’ve definitely been avoided but she was young and dumb. It got on my nerves a bit.

Overall a good read.

This book was like watching a movie. The author and storyline. From the very first page I was hooked and eager to find out how things will play out. Things aren't always what they seem or you believe them to be and "The Heist" is the book that will have you wondering who done it. There is death, deception, jealousy and betrayal amongst these characters that along the way becomes a cat and mouse game. You will not be disappointed with this read. Can't wait to read what happens in part 2.

New Book Bae Alert!!! Jules was everything so I’m going to lead with that because this is important lol. This book was so good I was up all night reading it because I had to get to the end. She literally had me at the Prologue. I don’t want to give anything away but you get it all with this book mess, suspense, romance and intrigue and I was here for all of it. Can’t wait to read more of her work and see what Part 2 brings. Highly recommend this one :)

Slow burn but continue to read.

To be honest, this book started off slow and I almost gave up but with a little motivation I continued to read. Some of the shock factors were a surprise. Londyn was definitely the typical naive book female. I love the bond between Logan and Londyn.. Your "friends" do not always have your best interests.. Greed is the root of all evil..Towards the end of the book really got my attention.

Great read from start to finish Jules is a charming man charmed that lady out of the keys to the jewelry store.as for Logan and his crew, he keeps putting his sister in harms way. London shouldn't even blame Jules for his intentions at first. All because of her not so perfect, brother. This was a great read with a captivating main character.

. Great job.
