This was a good one! Author Izzy Matthews delivered a very satisfying emotional wallop and I loved the old-school romance vibes.
Cassie moves back to her hometown to start over and maybe heal some old wounds. Marcus has his own wounds that keep him closed off . . . until Cassie inadvertently wedges her way under his barriers.
These two together set my Kindle on fire! The tension and chemistry was off the charts. If you're into hot, bossy alphas and heroines who know how to pick their battles, you've found your next read!
