Rate this book
Josh Winslow, a former Marine Corps sniper and currently a police detective, finds himself pulled into the cauldron of religious hatred and the politics of "One World Government" because of a secret letter written by the Prophet Jeremiah. His best friend and Bible teacher, Dr. Caleb O'Connor, is determined to follow the clues in the letter to find The Prophet's Secret, the treasured implements of the ancient Jewish Temple. The Secretary-General of the United Nations is seeking Dr. O'Connor's total destruction along with the Temple artifacts. His most effective tool is a Jihadist, currently posing as Dr. O'Connor's student assistant who has dreams of a world ruled by Sharia Law. Finding these implements may well open the floodgates for Jews from around the world to return to their homeland, Israel.

R. H. Clark—a Texan author rooted in the coastal calm of Rockport—pens stories where faith, mystery, and revelation entwine. Following a distinguished career in pharmacy, he now devotes his days to motorcycling the open road, casting a line in quiet waters, and crafting narratives that stir the soul. His debut novel, Israel’s Treasure, unearthed threads of ancient prophecy and earned early acclaim. Its sequel, Blind Peril, released in June 2023, continues that journey into shadows and light, garnering heartfelt praise from readers.
Clark’s writing reaches beyond fiction; his experiences on mission trips to Thailand and Colombia lend a global pulse to his storytelling. With a heart for ministry and a passion for suspense, his tales resonate with those who seek meaning between the lines.
His latest work, The Templar’s Veil, delves deeper still into relics shrouded in secrecy, and the thin places where history brushes against the divine. Through his website and social platforms, Clark invites readers behind the veil, offering glimpses into both his creative process and the truths that inspire it.

The Prophet’s Secret by Ron Clark is a Christian story about a man that goes on a journey with his friend to figure out the prophet’s secret. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and it kept my attention from page one to the end. This book really has a place in the world today. I would recommend that anyone that love Christian fiction to read this book. It gives you a new found belief in Christian morals and the way the world is portrayed today.
The plot was well thought out and it had you on the edge of your seat. It made you wonder what they were going to have to face this time. I really enjoyed the part about them finding the Ark of the Covenant. It was very realistic and true to scripture. I like the way that Ron Clark puts faith first in this book. It shows that Josh is a man that is not afraid of where his beliefs may take him. His family was endangered due to the journey he took, but in the end, it was good that won this battle. I really thought it was endearing how there was scripture throughout the story.
The characters were well developed and their stories were thought out. I could tell that the Ron Clark has a passion for writing about Josh’s story. It shows that his character meant something to him. The way that Josh gets angry and feels his emotions are very realistic and he was a very believable character for this story. I loved all the conflict that arose in this book, because it is true to life, especially the life of a true Christian person.
I would recommend anyone who loves a good book to read this story. It gives you a sense of relief when things go his way or you really start to connect to Josh when things don’t go his way. This book was one the best Christian novels that I’ve read in a long time. I hope the author continues to write books like this. Ron Clark has a talent for writing a great story and getting the reader involved.

The author certainly offered an appropriate story "for such a time as this".

For a first-time author, Ron Clark offered the reader a very good story. I really appreciated this fiction story written from a Christian perspective. The reader can tell this author was a pharmacist, one that had to be detailed in his job, was able to offer the reader detailed descriptions of the Texas landscape, for instance, and going into battle against the enemy. Nice job.
