Description Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned…
Dan Tate feels like his life is spiraling out of control. His PTSD symptoms have returned, fueled by the terrifying ordeals he has faced. His ex-wife has dragged him into court, threatening to take custody of their children. And worst of all, Beverly’s sinister partner has finally revealed herself…
Consumed by her obsessive desire for revenge, this evil mastermind is willing to do whatever it takes to make the town of Anger pay. With the help of a collector from New York, she obtains a ghost that could make her and Beverly’s plans come to fruition. And together, they are an unstoppable force.
Dan has only one hope for victory. He must force her to confront the horrors she has inflicted on the town. But this enemy knows Dan’s heart better than anyone.
Ron Ripley is a husband and father surviving in New England, a place which seems to be getting colder every day. He grew up across from a disturbingly large cemetery where he managed to scare himself every night before going to bed. Mostly because of the red lights that people put in front of the headstones. Those things are just plain creepy to a kid.
Ron enjoys writing horror, military history and driving through the small towns of New England with his family, collecting books and giving impromptu lectures on military history to his family, who enjoy ignoring him during those dreadful times.
Daniels vai vienkārši Dens Teits vien vēlas dzīvē jaunu iespēju gan karjerā, kur iepriekšējo un visai daudzsološo žurnālista karjeru traģiska atgadījuma dēļ nespēja turpināt, gan attiecībās ar dēlu Āronu un meitu Emīliju, ar kuriem galvenokārt paša attieksmes un dusmu kontroles problēmu dēļ nav bijušas tās pašas labākās. Ne visiem, pat saprotot savas kļūdas, pieņemot tās un apņemoties laboties, otra iespēja dzīvē maz tiek dota. Vien Dens nenojauš, cik ļoti gaidāmo sešu grāmatu sērijas notikumi pārbaudīs šo apņemšanos.
With Janet out of the way, Diane is now working to rid herself of Dan, and obtain the house that she wants - at any cost. She is about to discover that he is not going to give up so easily, and she might be in over her head.
I was NOT expecting that ending! Wow! Really enjoyed reading through these books, and the series ended perfectly. Can't wait to see what is next!
Book 6 melts in well with the rest of this saga of Dan Tate and his little ghost friend. The entire series has been such a joy and extremely well written, easy to read/listen to. I give the whole series a 5 star it is so worth the time! I am now a fan of the author and I will soon be checking out the other books very soon. You may notice Streets Of Anger series has rave reviews, start this series, you won't regret it i promise! An amazing and very satisfying ending aswell!
I've been reading this thrilling supernatural series since its inception, yet each installment seems more compelling even than the proceeding. Now that we've discovered the identity of the "mastermind" plotting to destroy the populace of the tiny but evil-beset community of Anger, New Hampshire [in STREETS OF ANGER, Book 5], we watch as said mastermind's plot ratchets up and as feckless, vulnerable, hero Dan Tate throws up obstacles against the plot to destroy Anger. Fortunately Dan (capable but with the weakness of his children in danger) calls on ghost hunter Shane Ryan, an individual with terribly self-destructive impulses and a literally "stop at nothing " attitude. Prepare for an uproarious roller coaster ride through unimaginable danger, as this literal battle of good vs. evil intensifies, introducing a totally terrifying new character in the "collector."
I really hate to see this series end. Ron Ripley has a true talent for character development. Dan Tate is a prime example. He is flawed, to be sure, and has seen more than his share of tragedy, but he also has a sense of honor and an appreciation of right. He survived the ultimate betrayal at the hands of a woman he thought he loved and stops her evil plan before it can play out. To make things even sweeter, Shane Ryan (another exceptional character) enters the fray and utilized his particular set of skills to balance the scales. I particularly liked how the author portrays the ghosts in this series. They align themselves with Dan and Shane to protect their own interest. Eli, in particular, becomes a valuable friend to Dan in the defense of the Town of Anger. I highly recommend this series.
Where the ghosts most certainly are, and cops are baffled, the residents are fearing the worst and fleeing in droves.
Left behind is Dan, a broken soul, seeking to redeem his past, and be the father he’s always wanted to be to his kids. Throw in a bit of Shane Ryan, a retired Marine, with ghosts of his own, and a penchant for violence.
Since I’m not one to spoil anything in a book, I leave brief reviews, with just enough to entice a future reader, and more than enough for fans of Ron Ripley!!!
Consistently Great Reads from the Talented Mr. Ripley!
He's done it again.....another great read! Dan Tate is so likeable & comes to life more in every story. I envision Steve Carrell as Dan Tate & the addition of Shane Ryan is always a welcome bonus! My only criticism.....these stories are never long enough! I need a HUGE 500+ page novel from Mr. Ripley! Now that would be amazing! As usual, you won't be disappointed with ANY book by this amazing author! Bravo!
I feel so bad for Dan in this series. It seems like the harder he tries the more things he is up against. He is worried about his children, having trouble with his ex-wife and now he has to try to do everything in his power to save the town of Anger. This is a town he has come to love. How much more can he handle? You will need to read this book and the rest in this series. Definitely one of my favorite authors. This is a must read series.
Another book by Rob Ripley that books you from start to finish. He writes in a way that makes you feel for the characters & cheer when they win each battle. And this book didn't disappoint with scares from start to finish.
The characters get you hooked, from Eli to Dan & even the great & fearful Shane Ryan.
Really a great finish to a brilliant series! The protagonist is well written and the backstory of his life is heartbreaking and sadly relatable. Well worth the wait 😊
This six book series was wrapped up nicely, yet still made me want for more. Who was that evil young man who leased ghosts? Hope the author will include this character in his future works.
I enjoyed all the anger books and the loveable characters. I will be waiting .the nice thing about your books is that you have very few typos. Tell you what you keep writing and I'll keep reading thank you sincerely Christine Dunne
Was a good ending to this series. Some orbit seemed a little rushed and at times some parts seemed unnecessary, but overall I enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it.
The final book of the Tormented Souls series by Ron Ripley. Overall a great series although it seemed to be stretched a bit too much in books four and five. This wrapped up all the loose ends and Dan Tate finally gets some peace of mind for himself and the town of Anger.
I have finally finished this series and I loved it!!!!! I never get tired of reading ron ripleys books just wish there was more I think I have read all his books now sadly it's disappointing that I don't have any more to look forward to.
Who would have thought who the silent partner was !!good conclusion at the end and glad Dan and Shane made it through sadly the end of another great series .
This was one of Mr. Ripleys finest . Loved it ! And to have Shane Ryan help out is a bonus. Read it in two days this is another one of his best series.
Dan Tate is tired. His children have been threatened. Will he lose this last battle against the Killer ghosts? Last in this series. Great series of books.
Just a fantastic series. I loved enough to buy the rest of the series after Ron Ripley so graciously offered the first in the series for free. I highly recommend this one folks. I couldn't put it down!
