Captain Keiper Sim and the mercenary crew of the star ship, Sentinel have gone to the far reaches of the Zeta Quadrant to retrieve a package for the nefarious Popan Doa Ishoda. While en route to deliver the package, the come upon the abandoned transport vessel, Shadow Box. I loved the tone of this story. It was fun and dark and had a lot of flair. If Douglas Adams and William Goldman conspired together to write part of The Princess Bride in space, it would probably feel something like this story. A great short read and I am very much looking forward to finding out more about our hero AND our villains!
