I've been obsessed with investigating Daniel, and in my search I've hurt Dracus.
Yes, I violated his privacy and perhaps I could've used more discretion.
But I won't back down if I'm onto something big, no matter how big and brutish and gorgeous he is...

4.5 stars This is book fourteen in the series and it is not a standalone. It picks up where the previous story left off. Once again Fiona is trying to find answers to what is happening even if she has to break some rules to do it. As the council boys and Fiona are one unit, what happens to one affects the others leading to some friction. As more and more questions arise, the danger increases. Adding to the tension is the growing passions between Fiona and the council boys. I hope that this is not the end and that there will be more books coming to see where things go with these characters. I volunteered to read a copy of this story.
Academy Of Beasts XIV is book fourteen in this series by author Becca Fanning. Intensely intriguing- seriously suspenseful. There’s so much going on with all the twists and turns. Fiona added another to her list- the Council Boys are falling like flies. Enjoy!!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The 14th book in The Academy of Beasts serial leaves us with another edge of your seat cliffy, but that's to be expected with this type of story. The big thing in this one is we get more about Jasper, which is just enough to know that I want more Jasper! This has been such a fun paranormal serial, and I'm having a blast getting to know these terrific characters.
I really like the story and the character development, but I do feel that a little proofreading might help out. It's getting worse with every episode. Basic sentence structure and correct word usage would improve this greatly. It's getting harder and harder to follow China's train of thought.
I’m starting to wonder if the story is going to move forward. This is “book” 14… and it’s gone nowhere. Is it an elaborate scam to keep you buying tiny books? The books are more like chapters. And they just repeat the same thing every time. She’s a brat. No one communicates. Everyone gripes. That’s it. All of it.
After the first few books, you start paying $3.99 for what amounts to a chapter or two. I can read them in 45 minutes. If you continue, you’ll be paying $140.00 for a book. Each segment is getting shorter with less new turns.
Always worried we will get to the last book without their story finishing. I'm glad Becca is an author who sees a storyline through no matter how long it takes 🙂
This next installment makes you feel like all she does is spin her wheels. Fiona is slowly realizing that life with the shifters will be completely different then what she imagined. I cannot wait until the next installment to find out if she can finally move forward with all of the guys being on board. I am leaving a voluntary review for an advanced copy of the book.
Quick read with great characters. This continues where the last book left off. Fiona is trying to figure out what is going on and more questions come up. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
