Just when you think you know what is going on, Ms. Fanning decides to throw in a curve ball that has you rethinking what is going on here. Fiona has some niggling feelings that she is hardpressed to decipher as she is trying to get to the bottom of what happened to Daniel. The pieces just do not seem to fit. Things with the council boys are as steamy as ever with some tension thrown in for good measure. I am eagerly awaiting the final book in this series to see if all the questions are answered or if there will be more coming from these wonderful characters. I highly recommend this series. I volunteered to read a copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

Beasts XIII

I loved reading this series, and now I am down to the last wire. I can't see how the last small book can put all the answers together but I pray it does with no cliff hangers .that would ruin the whole series of reading for me. I love reading a good serious only if it comes to a finish line..so now I am waiting for July 31st. To find out. I hope that I am not disappointed..

Fiona is getting closer to her council boys - some of them at least, and much like the earlier parts of the serial, more answers lead to even more secrets. Getting the whole council on Fiona's side at the same time seems to be almost an exercise in frustration, and it's hard to know what's what, but each book adds another piece of the puzzle. This one has a whopper conclusion, or maybe I should say a lack of conclusion, but that just ramps up the anticipation for each new installment.

I was immediately drawn back into Fiona and her world. I was on the edge of my seat with everything that went on and where it leaves you.
