To Whom it May Concern, I would like to request more information about the assistant job I saw advertised in Sunday’s newspaper with the six figure starting salary. I have a bachelors degree in English and many years of work experience and think I would be a good fit for the job. My questions are as 1. What is the exact nature of the job? 2. Is it a strict requirement that I live with the boss? If so, can I have friends and others over? 3. The ad states there is a uniform. May I ask what sort of uniform? And why? Also, in lieu of sending a photograph, I’ve sent a picture of my very friendly dog that would also be joining me if I were to get the job. Yours Sincerely, Savannah Carter *** Ms. Carter, How do you know you’ll be a good fit for the job if you do not know the nature of the work? My ad specifically stated I was looking for an MBA grad, not an English grad that knows nothing about the real world. 1. This would be discussed in the interview. 2. Yes, you would be living with me. And no guests are allowed. 3. The uniform would be provided on your first day. You don’t need to know why. The job advertisement asked for a personal photo, is this your way of telling me you look like a dog? Today must be your lucky day because you’re the only person that responded to my ad. Are you available for a phone interview tomorrow? The Wade Hart This is book one of a duet. The second and final book is Return To Sender.
AUTHORS! AUTHORS!! AUTHORS!!! We are in 2020 please don’t add your unrealistic, ridiculous and annoying books to the mix of whats going on the world right now.
This is the first time reading any book from this author. I had high hopes for this one. It all started when I saw the book as part of my kindle recommendation and I read the blurb and this bitch was taken away by it so I decided to add it to my wish. So, when I was notified that it was already available I did not hesitate to purchase it and now ladies and gentlemen, after reading this book I know I made a terrible mistake. This author writes like an amateur who still needs schooling. This novel is filled with loads of crap. I won’t say I regret purchasing it but I feel disappointed to the core.
Now to the book
The Hero’s name is Wade Hart and he was just irritating, a douche, so disgusting!!! I won’t wish him upon my worst enemy. The Heroine Savannah something??? I dunno what to say about her.
This author made sexual harassment into romance. Ladies, if your employer says anything sexual to you during your interview please runaway!!!! I repeat RUNAWAY!!! Sexual harassment is no joke
“How old are you?” “I’m thirty.” “Old, then.” “You think thirty is old?” “Well, it’s not young, is it?” “I can tell that you’re a woman that enjoys a good spanking.”
Who talks like this during a job interview 🤦🏾♀️. And as the book progress there was more of this even to the point our so called boss made a bet for to “SLEEP” with him in his bed. If it was a very older man I mean older doing all this, the news will be he is a creep, he preys on younger women you all get the gist but just put a fine handsome face in the mix then all is great and romantic.. What a joke
Guys we all know how the “JOB ENVIRONMENT” is very difficult in this time. Who offers a six figure salary to a personal assistant for just six month period on top of that you are getting $100,000 just for accepting job and for the so called employee to be rude for instant look at this conversation between them
“He wouldn’t be happy. He might have to come into the city to tell you off, and that would make him mad. And you don’t want to see him when he’s mad.” “Do you always talk in the third person? And I’ve never seen you period, so frankly, I don’t care if you’re mad, happy, sad—you name the emotion, I don’t care.” “You’re being fairly mouthy for someone I’m employing with a huge salary.” “Would it be better if I wasn’t making a huge salary?” I asked innocently. I couldn’t believe just how snappy I was being. “Savannah Carter, you have no idea who you’re talking to.” “No, I know exactly who I’m talking to”
This happened even before they met.. And this happened after they met and he told her make breakfast
“I think you’d poison me if I asked you to cook me breakfast now.” “Well, you might be an asshole, but at least you’re astute.” “You think I’m an asshole?” He smirked. “I’m your boss. Do you really think that’s an appropriate thing to say?” “Do you really think you’ve been appropriate?”
Like guys who calls their boss an asshole to the face on the first day!!! This book was so confusing. I did not get the authors point or the direction she was taking with this book.
And whats it with the whole Virgin thing the heroine and her best friend was just all about. When she moved to the dude house the town people let just say only one was warning her about the Hart brothers even The hero’s mum was warning her to runaway this book was so confusing... This author needs to read what she wrote and criticise herself because honestly this book was bad to the core. J.S Cooper needs to fire her publisher. they did her wrong.
I dunno if I read the same thing with the rest of the 5🌟 people cus y’all are tripping... If an author gives an ARC please be truthful don’t try to please them
Will I recommend this book... Hell naw to no no!!🙅🏾♀️
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Seriously?? Wade is a jerk. And acting unprofessional toward Savannah. And why Savannah keeping her employement with Wade? Surely there must be hundred jobs out there where she can apply.
I have a fair share of jerk heros during my adventure of romance genre, but Miss Cooper did not give me something to like Wade. And his banter is bordering harrasement.
I’m a little confused.. am I reading the same books as everyone else because god I couldn’t even get through the first half of this book. There is SO MUCH wrong with this book I can’t even comprehend how so many people gave it a 5 star rating. The first half of the book is just savannah and wade having HIGHLY inappropriate conversations, and him giving her a NURSE COSTUME to wear everyday???? WHAT?!! Someone please tell me I’m not losing my mind. I get it, it’s a romance and they’re supposed to fall in love and stuff, BUT WHAT EVEN IS THIS BOOK? She just starts working for him and he’s inappropriate from the get-go. And what? She stays working because he’s good looking? I can’t even write this review without fuming. DNF- DONE RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE
Savannah is down on her luck and needs a real paying job and needs it quickly which is why she answers a odd job add and out of mere luck gets it but the second she meets her new boss Wade she knows two things first thing is something is definitely off and second is a instant attraction. Wade and Savannah May have a connection but he is the epitome of hot and cold! Can’t wait for the next part of duet!
J.S. Cooper is such an amazing author! This was another a fun read, it starts off as an enemies to lovers, but not quite lovers. It's a slow burn romance, but wow when it gets hot, the loves are a level 5! Savannah Carter is 22, and a recent English major college graduate, her roommate Lucy is also a college graduate. Savannah responds to a position via email to a The Wade Hart! The position is a dream come true because of their financial struggles. I really enjoy the banter between Savannah and Wade! So, after many emails, she decides to accept the job. And omg Wade Hunter is super model gorgeous and cocky. Not only is he gorgeous, he is also difficult to understand. Savannah desperately needs the money, so she pulls through. But, Savannah discovers cracks in Wade's family history and she feels confused, since Wade is so hot and cold in his demeanor. I just really enjoyed their chemistry and the many surprises-secrets they each have! I also got emotional at J.S. Cooper's Dedication. I'm looking forward to book 2!
Recent college grad Savannah Carter is desperate for a job, which is how she ends up becoming a highly paid live in personal assistant. Savannah's boss Wade Hart may be spine-tinglingly gorgeous but he's such an arrogant jerk that even the money isn’t making the job seem worth it. So why can't Savannah stop having inappropriate thoughts about Wade?
To Whom it May Concern is funny, drama-filled and steamy. I can't wait to read Return to Sender, Book 2 of the Hart Duet.
Everything about this book was ridiculous. The plot, the characters, the dialogue, just ridiculous. Every other scene was like the beginning of a bad porno. And then it had the nerve to end on a cliffhanger!
But it was also fun and very funny. I just had to suspend my knowledge of reality to enjoy it.
I loved The Inappropriate Bachelors series, but unfortunately, this book didn’t live up to my expectations. It started off great with the witty banter back-and-forth, but it was over soon after it started. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The characters were incredibly juvenile. Wade showed Savannah no respect. Every single thing that came out of his mouth was overtly sexual and inappropriate. And I couldn’t like him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Savannah bothered me from the get go. She was just too immature and the most disrespectful employee while Wade was the most inappropriate employer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don't think I'll be reading book #2.
If you think you've been on bad interviews than Savannah will have you beat. She needs money. In debt, rent due and now that she's an adult she needs a real job. Savannah is a unique character, she's 22 and not lucky in love or money so maybe these mysterious job ads will lead her a stable job and a stable man.
Wade is definitely an enigma. As you explore the chemistry between them and his hot/cold demeanor you'll be so confused, so imagine how Savannah must feel living with him. He's her boss but she knows there is something there. The true question is what? The romance would be simple but there is definitely something up with Wade and his brother, Henry. Secrets are coming to light and I am holding the flashlight to see how this revelation will go. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
A funny, captivating, and intriguing romance read, To Whom It May Concern is well written with plenty of drama, witty banter, sizzling chemistry, twists and turns, suspense, sexual tension, and mystery. The characters, the storyline and discovering all the family secrets suck you in and will have you turning the pages to see how the story unfolds.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Book 1 in the Hart Brothers series and be ready because it will end on a cliffhanger. This was a great start to the series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. Loved the suspense and the mystery that was in the story. Great read. Loved Wade and Savannah. They were complete opposites which made them good for each other. I have to know what will happen between Wade and Savannah. I didn’t want it to end. Book 2 can’t get here soon enough. I have to know how it ends. Will they be able to get the HEA they both want and deserve or will there be more obstacles in their way?
"I love you" after five days? After all the ways he treated her? Of course he’s a handsome God, she’s a virgin - a cliché, but can’t we read about women who actually have character. In a world where women are still below men, we again write / read how shallow and characterless women are. Two stars just because of the mystery the writer managed to create.
Don’t waste your money on this book! I could hardly finish it...I kept thinking it has to get better with all the good reviews. I was wrong! The characters were written like they belonged in junior high. Extremely immature and childish. It doesn’t even deserve one star.
Fabulous Banter! Wade And Savannah’s Story Is A Slow Burn That Keeps You On The Edge Of Your Seat. Ends In A Devastating Cliffhanger And Concludes In Return To Sender.
This is book one of the Hart Duet. It ends in a devastating cliffhanger. The story concludes in Return to Sender.
Savannah Carter, twenty-two, is a literary nerd. She lacks skills in the kitchen and lives like a slob, but she loves to belt out original verse in poetry slams. She is intellectually intelligent, yet often comes up lacking in common sense. The new Columbia University grad earned a degree in English along with $100,000 in debt. No longer able to live off of student loans, her rent is about to be due and job prospects in the current economy are bleak. She shares a Manhattan apartment with her best friend Lucy, who just got an internship in a small publishing house and is barely making her half of the rent for the month. Either Savannah finds a job fast, or they may both need to leave New York and return home to their parents. As much as she loves them, Savannah doesn’t want to move back to Florida. She enjoys the city and the ability to be anonymous in a crowd and remake herself at will.
Two job ads catch her attention, but both jobs sound a little questionable with their promises of a high income. Despite the red flags and warning bells, Savannah isn’t deterred from enquiring about them. One leads her to Talia Enterprises in New Jersey. She has high hopes, but when she finds that she cannot get away fast enough, she reluctantly pursues the other position – with The Wade Hart. Even before they graduate from an email exchange to a phone interview, Savannah finds herself infuriated with her potential employer and more than shocked at his inappropriate words. Nevertheless, Savannah soon leaves Lucy and New York behind for a six month assignment as Wade Hart’s live-in personal assistant. Herne Hill Village is located several hours outside of the city, and Hart Manor sits just outside of the small rural town.
Wade Hart, thirty, is a businessman focused on trade in emerging markets. He is also a little crazy. He doesn’t trust people, so he lives a relatively secluded and exceedingly private life in his manor. A Harvard undergrad and Wharton Business School graduate, he runs an impressive business while assisting third-world countries to implement sustainable businesses. His magnetic character and good looks guarantee he gets what he wants, whether in business or in his personal life. A sense of awe and mystery surround him. He prefers to avoid talking about himself, perhaps in part due to an unhappy childhood. His best friend is his brother Henry, two years his junior. Their parents divorced, thanks to their mother, who then got custody, moved to Paris, and sent Wade and Henry away to boarding school in England. They got to spend summers at the Hart Manor with their father, but he had ultimately died of a broken heart. Despite their wealth, it seems the Hart brothers weren’t immune to their own share of problems, and abandonment issues probably rank high on the list.
As Savannah arrives and settles into her new job and home at the Hart Manor, Henry Hart is in town. He is flirty and kind – quite different than his standoffish and moody brother. Wade is hot and cold, and is perfectly comfortable with not well-masked innuendo with his new employee. But Savannah is intelligent and quick in her come backs, and her sense of humor prevents things from getting too heavy. She tries to keep perspective and remain professional, though that is impossible around Wade. But between Henry’s off-hand comments, a kooky waitress named Beryl, Mrs. Louisa Thiefton, and a man named Gordon, there are hints at secrets that threaten turn things upside down. Something is happening that Savannah is clearly not aware of.
Wade and Savannah’s story is a slow burn that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The couple’s banter is fabulous! Wade has a way with words, always twisting things around and shifting the conversation as he pleases. He is intriguing and adorable one moment, but utterly despicable the next. Savannah senses in him a little boy that is drowning in a world of hurt, which is the only excuse she has for indulging him. She manages him well, completely capable of sparring him word for word, though there is at least one instance in which she allows him to get away with something far too easily. Despite her inexperience, she manages to get past the various disses and games that might have sent most girls running from Wade. Savannah doesn’t exactly have the traditional traits of a nurturer, but the fact that she can take Wade’s moods and dish back at him seems to give him a level of comfort with her that he hadn’t ever expected to find.
Wade and Savannah’s love/hate relationship takes the reader through a myriad of emotions. Savannah steps into a job at an estate filled with painful family memories that continue to hold Wade hostage. There are laughs and a few tears. There are lots of shocking words and actions. The underlying question throughout is: what is behind the mask? What motivates Wade? The story is well-written and plot-driven. The story is written in first person from Savannah’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Where do I start with this review? My mind is all over the place and my heart just dropped! Savannah Carter recently graduated from college with a degree in English and now is in desperate need of a job. She and her roommate, Lucy, have shared an apartment where Lucy's dad paid the rent and Savanna paid the bills. Now that they've graduated, Lucy's dad is no longer paying the rent and Savannah doesn't have much in savings to pay the bills, so there's no option but to be employed, and be employed quickly. The first job opening she applies for is a real odd sales scam with John Boy as the boss. Once she figures out that she has to buy the products she will be selling, that's enough! When another prospect with quirky requirements appears in the paper, Savannah can't help but be intrigued, but she's somewhat put out at the same time. I mean, who orders their employee to live with them and wear a maid's uniform, even if the job pays in the high six-figures! Her inquiry into the "rules" is somewhat curt and it elicits an immediate response from the prospective employer. The Wade Hart, not just Wade Hart, is a man and employer who knows what he wants and sets very specific goals for her to complete as part of the job. Facilitate meetings with different world leaders and set meetings with them, create PowerPoint presentations to be used in the meetings, travel with him to foreign countries, grocery shop, make menus, prepare meals and serve him...and that's just the beginning of the list. This is not a normal job, but Wade Hart is not a normal man. He is hot and cold, sometimes impossible to read and often cantankerous and rude. Other times, he's a sweet boss with a kind heart and has an animal magnetism that draws Savanna right into his orbit. His life is a puzzle with many pieces that don't seem to fit. His brother, Henry, is always present, even if he doesn't live in the manor. There's something between them that isn't at all clear. Is he the good brother who offers Savannah some advice and support and Wade the bad brother who confuses her with his on again, off again approach? One thing is for sure. He's involved in Wade's life in a way that Savannah can't quite figure out, and either can the reader. She is warned by people in the village that the "Hart boys aren't at all that they seem." There's a mystery around Hart Manor that Savannah hasn't uncovered, but at least one player involved has tipped his hand. Wade's mother has been described as a cold-hearted bitch who doesn't love her family as much as herself, but does Savannah know the real reason and the real person, or does she only know the mother that Wade described to her? The heat between the two simply sizzles, but Wade always walks away more often than not, leaving Savannah feeling cold and hurt. I can't figure out if he's playing her or if he has sincere feelings for her. I started this story, really liking Wade but, by the end, I don't like him at all. As you turn the final pages, the Hart brothers show another side of themselves, one that is devious and full of mystery. I can't wait to see how they explain themselves and their fears. Cliffhanger!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.
To Whom It May Concern, I would like to request more information about the assistant advertised in Sunday's newspaper with the six figure starting salary. I have a bachelor degree in English and may years of work experience and think I would be a good fit for the job. My questions are as follows: 1. What is the exact nature of the job? 2. Is it a strict requirement that I live with the boss? If so, can I have friends and others over? 3. The ad states there is a uniform. May I ask what sort of uniform? And why? Also, in lieu of sending a photograph, I've sent a picture of my very friendly dog that would also be joining me if I were to get the job. Your's Sincerely ***** Mr. Carter, How do you know you'll be a good fit for the job if you don't know the nature of my work? My ad specifically stated I was looking for an MBA grad not an English grad that knows nothing about the real world. 1. This would be discussed in the interview. 2. Yes, you would be living with e. And no guests are allowed. 3. The uniform would be provided on your first day. You don't need to know why. The job advertisement asked for a personal photo, is this your way of telling me you look like a dog? Today must be your lucky day because you're the only person that responded to my ad. Are you available for a phone interview tomorrow? The Wade Hart.
Well first of all if you read the description of the book I don't think I have to tell you that Wade Hart is a a jerk. A big fast gushing, full of himself, look out he might explode from his head being so big, jerk!!!! Then there is Savannah who is very down on her luck and boy does she need a job fast. Heck you can tell she is desperate when she replies to this Hart characters ad telling him personal information and asking abut the job. And just as fate would have it he responds with a letter that is really not so nice and informs her that this is her lucky day. Not one person except her has responded the job offer and will have a phone interview the next day? Of course she has not choice but to say YES but I'm not so sure I would have agreed to that phone interview. She jut has no idea hqo this guy is or what he is made of. But shocker these two have this intense chemisty and I swear I could feel their attraction melting off the pages of this book. He gave, she took and gave it right back to him. I really loved that she didn't let his attitude get to her. Don't worry if that bothers you in the beginning of the book. Don't give up on Wade. He might just steal your heart. I read this book from the beginning to end and hardly put it down. Since this is a duet though, you should expect another book soon and I can't wait to read that one.
Gosh, I sure do love this author's sense of humor!
If you're looking for a story that's guaranteed to put a smile on your face, then look no further than J.S. Cooper. She has the best sense of humor when it comes to her writing and it's reflected in her characters.
When I first read the blurb for To Whom It May Concern, I was sold on this story. Really, if it doesn't draw you in, you need to go back and re-read that blurb again because I knew this was going to be one heck of a fun story. And if you've ever been in college and in a pinch for money, you know you'll do just about anything to make some money. When you're that desperate, you'll do exactly what Savannah did--you'll hit those want ads. When it sounds too good to be true, though, most of the time it usually is. As was the case with The Wade Ward, Savannah's desperate attempt at finding work.
Where do I even begin with Wade. At times he infuriated me, but it's what makes his character so unique. He has that on/off switch that one minute you're softening up to him, then you're back to despising him again. Together, Wade and Savannah make for a great storyline and you'll seriously not want to put the book down. You just can't, not until you're done because you just never know what's about to happen between them. The story itself didn't lack for anything.
J.S Cooper really outdid herself this time and I think it's one of her best works. The plot is everything, the chemistry is spot on, and the banter is hilarious. Easily on of my favorite reads this year!!
Savannah is desperate for a job. She sees a want add in a local paper that sounds to good to be true. On a whim, she applies, but doesn't send all the required items.
Wade needs an assistant. What better way than to advertise in a paper? Well, there has been one person who responded, but doesn't meet the qualifications. Oh well, he decides to give Savannah a chance.
What could go wrong? Well, their personalities clash over items. Savannah has hard time with some of the restrictions. Wade keeps changing his mind on items. Classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde shifts. Being away from the city is relaxing to a point, but it takes time to adjust. Plus, going to the village not that far from the house helps save her sanity to a point. However, there are secrets that abound and people from the village warn Savannah about it. More and more drama shows up at the estate. After hearing something, Savannah doesn't know if she should stay or should leave.
J.S. Cooper writes a great story. The characters are well through out. This story has the romance she is known for, but there is also a mystery that needs to be resolved and family drama that comes out at the strangest time. I love how the plot is set up and moves forward. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.
4.5 star Review of To Whom It May Concern (The Hart Brothers #1) by J S Cooper
This was an entertaining read that had me from the first moment I read the blurb for this book. Savannah Carter needs a job and she needs it fast. When she sees an add by The Wade Hart for a personal assistant, she has no idea what she is signing up for. However, since the money is so good she promises herself she will put up with her annoying boss as it will giver her the security she craves.
Wade Hart is an arrogant jerk who Savannah cannot help but be attracted too. There were many laugh out moments throughout To Whom It May Concern, particularly with Wade’s often outrageous behaviour. The chemistry that sizzles between Savannah and Wade is intense and you cannot help but become invested in the story that Ms.Cooper weaves. It was funny, steamy , drama filled and was an entertaining read which I was riveted from the first to the last chapter.
As Savannah slowly but surely learns the secrets that Wade has been keeping will they bring them together or tear them apart? This was a great start to the series and I am looking forward to what Ms.Cooper has in store for us in Return To Sender.
I voluntarily agreed to receive an Arc of this book for an honest review.
Talk about a page-turner. This book will keep you guessing. Be warned that it a duet and ends with a cliffhanger. But there's no way you won't want to continue. Wade, excuse me - The Wade Hart is a mysterious billionaire. He's gorgeous, arrogant, a jerk thirty, and sex on a stick. Savannah's a recent college grad, sassy, has a quick wit, naive, and a virgin. What could go wrong when she takes a high six-figure job working for Wade at his secluded estate. He has no use for love and has lots of baggage from his youth. He's like a dual personality in many ways. The chemistry between them is off the charts. The back and forth banter is amusing and hilarious at times. Secrets galore and plenty of mystery surrounding the Hart men. She warned to stay away by many but she's hooked. What does she overhear Wade say on the phone at the end of the book? What is the warning she gets from a neighborhood lady? What is the warning Savannah gets from Wade's mother? A great book with interesting characters and a suspenseful storyline. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review it.
Savannah may be book smart but not so much when it comes to life skills. She finds herself in student debt up to her eyeballs and with no job she has no way of paying her monthly expenses. She needs a job and is running out of options so she can’t afford to be picky. She may not be a perfect fit for the ad she answered but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Wade is a successful businessman who is high on skill, low on patience but he can be very charming if necessary. He requires an assistant who he can call on at a moment’s notice, but he isn’t about to let anyone, especially his employee break through the walls that he has built around his heart due to his past.
Both Wade and Savannah are compelling characters as they try to maneuver the situation, they find themselves in and the feelings that they are developing for each other in spite of themselves. Their interactions have the perfect balance of sarcasm and wit which combined with the secondary characters and the secrets yet to be revealed leave more questions than answers and have us wondering what the future holds for his couple.
ARG, I’m screaming at the top of my lungs!! How how can you stop when Wade sees that he has meet his match when it comes to Savannah
Warn the readers when you’re going to end it with a cliff hanger, I can’t wait to find out what game Wade and Henry is playing. I hope it doesn’t tear Savannah apart but I have a sinking feeling that it will be a surprise of her life and I hope she can rebound from it.
The best part of the book, the banter and wit that comes from Savannah and Wade. He is the most inappropriate boss there is. Who in their right mind would be walking around this employee is a speedo. Those things alone can be a heaven on earth or your worst nightmare where you need to wash your brain out from what you just saw. Lucky for us, Wade is all man and the joy is all for her eyes only.
So many things to say but I don’t want to give away too much, just get your hands on it ASAP and hope to high heaven that the next installment is coming out soon!
I've waited a couple months for this book, when I first read the blurb I was intrigued with how good this book sounded, I've read one other book by this author and I loved it but this book fell flat for me. The characters were pretty one dimensional and at times came across as being robotic, I hate Wade and the vibe he gave off, he wasn't charming he was more like a sleazeball, and Savannah where was your backbone girl. She was hired to be his assistant but he treated her more like a damn maid, make my food, make my coffee and he even went as far as getting her a proper maids uniform which she described as demeaning but yet she still wore it?. I was hoping that both characters would grow but they didn't.
This is the 1st in a new duet, and I cannot wait to read the 2nd part. This is Savannah and Wade’s story. Savannah is 22-years old and looking for her first job after college and is at the point where any job will do as rent needs to be paid. Wade is one of the Hart brothers, and he is a jerk, as well as arrogant and cocky. No spoilers though: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written tale which is a slow burn, as well as fun, humorous, and entertaining, and with secrets, surprises, mystery, and is thrilling and dark read. I highly recommend for all readers.
I received an ARC of this book and the following is my honest review. I have read many of JS Coopers’ books and I think this one is the best. It is very witty and I loved the banter between the main characters Savannah and Wade. She is a 22 year old struggling for money and he is a billionaire (and obviously gorgeous). She responds to his ad he has placed for a live in personal assistant with a very large salary and gets the job. Their chemistry is clear from the start but Wade clearly has two personalities, he blows very hot and cold. The banter and innuendos between them is pretty funny. As the story progressed there were clearly secrets the Hart family had, and the book left me hanging wanting to know exactly what they were. I’m looking forward to the next book Return to Sender to have my questions answered!
