Breathtaking and seductive!

Audrey Knight has crafted a duet of unexpected, unplanned romance with rich and vibrant characters. Her writing flows eloquently and erotically, making you feel as though you are the characters in the story. Each book stands alone, with its own couple and story, but can be read together as well.

Change of Heart takes us to meet Allison and Edward. Her life hasn’t been easy at all, and neither was her mother’s. Allison never got to know her extended family before her mother died, and now they come seeking her out when she isn’t truly sure that she wants it.

But then we have Edward, the man who inadvertently orchestrated the downfall of Allison’s life, and for some reason, Edward just can’t stop thinking about her. One night of scandalous arrogance on his part, and self defense on hers, and both their lives changed.

In a way, Allison’s story reminds me of Gilmore Girls and Lorelei’s struggle when she’s hurting financially and her parents off her money with an ultimatum, or should I say—terms of service. It’s similar for Allison, only her grandfather is so entrenched in the old-money world that it makes you want to slap him on her behalf. And Edward? Well, he’s a bit like Oliver Queen before he went on that fateful cruise with his father.

Allison works in a diner and a man approaches her, wanting her, he's been hired by her grandfather. A grandfather she doesn't know or want to know, after all he's never been a part of her life. Yet now he finds her to discuss her inheritance! Edward us called into his father's office. A woman he had flirted with in a bar turns into a scandal one his father is not going to forgive. Reflection on his mishaps he thinks of a young bartender who he had been with at a resort and she had been fired. His father wants him to settle down. Maybe he should. As Allison is to inherit billions and a company her grandfather decides to organise a marriage of convenience. One Year. Edward's father calls him into the office, one of their biggest clients requires a favour, a marriage of convenience to his granddaughter. Edward is the man who two years ago creates a scandal in Allison's life. To correct a wrong, making a right he proposes! A proposal that will be of benefit to both of them. Right?

I really enjoyed reading this engaging entertaining and compelling story! I liked how their relationship develops from enemies to friends to passionate lovers. I like that shift between fake to real between a couple. This story is well written and fast paced. Told from dual POVs and reveals the thoughts feelings and emotions as they explore their relationship and navigate through the many obstacles that twist and turn making the story a page turner. There is a HEA 💓

When they meet, Allison is working in a resort bar and Edward is a somewhat drunk and ridiculously spoiled patron. She is serving a line of customers at the bar and he demands a couple of beers right now. After telling him to wait his turn, a scene ensues that results in her getting fired from her job.
She finds a job working in a small town diner following all the publicity around the incident. There didn't seem to be any way of finding another job like she had after all the publicity that centered around the very public dispute. He is chastised by his father and told that if he wants to succeed him in running the company the family owns, he will have to settle down, get to work, stop causing scandals and get married. She gets a visit from a lawyer and investigator and he tells her something she finds very difficult to believe; that she has a grandfather who is trying to get her to come to Chicago to meet him. Apparently she is his only heir and he is worth billions. This is a truly wonderful love story. There are many twists and turns, conflicting feelings between the two of them, standoffish rich men, and a villain stirring the pot. A delightful story, I recommend it.

Excellent! Audrey boasts one impressive spin with all feels and spills, winding it up and watching it swirl, so touching and heartwarming with such sentiment and nuance, thrusting this baby into a frenzy with shocking results. A churning vortex of vexing circumstances and astonishing mishaps blast those churning emotions into play front and center. Sparks fly as drama, turmoil, intrigue, tension, mounting suspense and perplexing situations along with a boatload of trouble, you have one mind-blowing experience. Blundering through the trials and tribulations, unexpected twists, sharp turns and thin lines, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. Meting out striking, well rounded scenario's, that punch dead center with such exuberance and style, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. The characters are authentic and realistic with qualities and traits that blend into outstanding personalities. The scenes are so colorfully descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Audrey, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

This is my first time reading something by Ms. Knight and I enjoyed it very much. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and kept my interest all the way through. So many emotions play out throughout the story that there were times I laughed but also times that made me cry. I was really pulled into the world of Allison and Edward and all that they go through. The plot was very interesting with twists and turns along the way. I also liked that this was written from both points of view - it really helps me to understand and feel the story better. This was a wonderfully written story and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be looking for more of Ms. Knight's books in the future.

Audrey Knight has written a 5-star book that will pull you right in with everything that Allison and Edward must go through. This book will make you cry at times and laugh at others. The storyline will in a way make you think about the situations that Allison and Edward are put in and the ways they work to get out of them. The storyline has a little betrayal, greed, humiliation, mistrust, and manipulation to get Allison and Edward to where they end up.
This book was a wonderful read and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Allison and Edward’s first meeting were in a bar and it ended in a disaster and left her not liking him, now 2 years down the road circumstances bring them together again. Will she be able to tolerate him a year to get what is coming to her and help him in return? Audrey never fails to deliver a story that doesn’t have one heck of a storyline along with great characters and this one was no different. There is plenty of drama, twist and turns to keep your attention along with the chemistry that develops between Edward and Allison. Well done!

I went into this one with some expectations on how it would go and how the characters would evolve. I mean, we have all read books before where the rich jerk evolves and changes to be a better person and falls for the non elite girl. But towards the end when hes dealing with the crap show his cousin caused, i was shocked with what he told his father. It is totally swoon worthy, i wont spoil it for you but i think it will shock you too! Enjoy!

When her grandfather, that she has never met tracks her down, she reluctantly agrees to meet him. Before she can inherit his wealth as his rightful heir, Allison must agree to a marriage of convenience. One of the prospective suitors is that same spoiled, rich jerk. Loved this story. Faking a relationship with the enemy what could go wrong? Edward and Allison have met before and it was a nightmare, at least for Allison. They meet again two years later and can they pretend to get along to get what they each want in the end?
Audrey had me hooked from chapter 1. Written from both main characters point of view which is my favorite style when reading a story. A must read, you'll fall in love with the characters and their personalities.

This time the poor girl has to get the guy for the billions. Who is Allison going to find to fake marry her. Two years ago she met Edward but the date was a disaster. After meeting again they are going to try to pretend to like each other so they both get what they want. They just need to last a year and then cut all ties. Can they pretend for a year to love each other? So entertaining to watch how they develop their relationship for real with twists and chemistry to keep this story entertaining.. This is a enemy to lovers/Rags to riches story. The two leads Edward and Allison had good chemistry. Edward and Allison had a history with one another that wasn’t pretty. I liked the banter that the two leads sometimes had. I fell I love with Edward a little myself. I all in all I really liked the book. It was a nice quick read to underinsured and fall in love with. The book left me smiling and my heart happy. I would definitely recommend giving this book a try

Allison has been at the diner four months the longest since she has been there. She had to go visit her grandfather she never met. Edward came face to face with Allison at the diner, they got off to a rocky start. Then after that mishap it became clear that Edward had to stop the nonsense about his media interference his father told him. Or find a wife to get that under control.

two years ago, Allison and Edward met and things didn't go as well, They met again and things still haven't changed except now Allison has a long lost grandfather and she will inherit billions of dollars if she marries the man her grandfather approves of and you guessed it with the help from Edward, this was a very interesting story i really liked it

An absolutely fantastic well written and emotionally deep read! The story line is flawless, funny, witty, engaging, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly with ups and downs, twists, intrigue, and more. The characters are very different but you will love them; the chemistry between them is off the charts! This book met all of my expectations and then some! Definitely recommended!

Allison and Edward have some history, a needless to say it is not all rainbows and unicorns. When they meet years later and forced to marry, what started out as tense and painful turns into hot, heated and passionate.

Allison and Edward have amazing chemistry, intriguing banter with bit of mistrust and betrayal. This is a story that when pick it up you will not want to put it down till the ends.

There was a lot of potential in this story. A mix of a second chance, hate to love, and fake fiancé tropes made this book interesting. The entire story was predictable, in an almost comforting way. I’m glad certain things weren’t drawn out (the author does a good job of moving time along to keep that story flowing).

It wasn’t my favorite book, but I still enjoyed it.

I loved it from the first sentence until the last.
It was sweet to see Edward transform from a rich bastard to a caring fiancé.
Allison was the tough but strong girl who misses her mom ( and her advice).

It shows never to judge a book by its cover, age, sex, rich or poor true love is true love. It also shows you should never stop standing up to protect yourself, but there are people out there that are low down and dirty don't care who they hurt to get what they want.

Going into this book, I was like "Oh no, not another one".
Never judge a book by it's cover, title or description!!!
Heart wrenching, heart warming, roller coaster of a ride!!!
The characters are lovable... well at points you love to hate him... *cough cough*... I mean them.. lol
Well worth the read!!
