The Polizzi crime family is deliciously sinful
Smoke: A DARK MAFIA ROMANCE (POLIZZI CRIME FAMILY BOOK 1 - 6) contains all 6 books in the series. These are - Zayn, Damien, Heiden, Lucas, Nathan and Zoey. Each book is about a different couple but the story-line of the family and characters cross over and carry through, so you really should read the books in order.
This is the first time I have read author Eric Steele so I was not sure what to expect and sometimes what is described as Dark Mafia really isn't. But I was impressed with this author's writing and story-telling styles. The writing is really good, the story-lines are intricate and explosive and the characters are fascinating and have a whole lot of sizzling hot chemistry.
I quite enjoyed my time with the Polizzi family as they are quite entertaining in a dangerous way that is delicious and sinful.

Was an ok read
Books are ok but after the first one they are pretty predictable, some typos but you can look past that, but what has me confused is book 2 is Damien where he meets the love of his life in Everly they go through some 💩 and in the end she graduated and they both convince their families they want nothing to do with the mob life and he has his own security business. Book 6 is Zoey where she is at a bachelorette weekend in Vegas where she meets Damien they both end up drunk and getting married the story goes from there, what happened to Everly? What happened to his own security business and staying out of the mob yes his dad was deported but why was he supposed to take over the business the books contradict each other, maybe if in the beginning of Zoey, Damiens pov the author could of taken a bit of time to explain what happened to the love of his life in Everly instead of leaving me and maybe others confused. Worth the read yes.

I’ve have the distinct honor in saying , that I have had the opportunity to previously read these books, individually, and I truly enjoyed reading them all.
Each one of these books is hot, sexy and has the adventure and passion that kept me riveted to these pages. I am, I will and I would definitely like to see more.

Smoke by Eric Steele is a A DARK MAFIA ROMANCE. This is a box set of the POLIZZI CRIME FAMILY series, books 1 thru 6. This box set totals about 905 pages. Although this box set does a different couple in each book the family and the underling story fallows through each. So it is so nice to have a one stop shop for the set. I really enjoyed this box set and will be looking for more books from this author. Exciting read!

Couldn't finish
Although I managed to get through Zayn`s book, even with all the misused and misspelled words, I couldn't take it any more in Damien`s book. It wasn't consistent, in Zayn`s book Demien said his father was killed while helping Luca get revenge for his wife's murder & because he didn't have any family Luca raised him with Zayn. Now Damien has a whole family & his father is a mob boss too. What?!! Inconsistent!!

Really Enjoyable
I didn't know any thing about the author, or any of his books. I did a search on Amazon for Mafia Romance and this series popped up, so I bought it.
It's been a fantastic read, the characters are fantastic, the storylines are similar, however all the characters are in the same situation so I expected that.
I would recommend this series to those that love Mafia Romance books.

I loved this collection. I couldn't put them down. Each story will hold you attention till the very end. The characters are perfect for one another, their chemistry is off the charts. Perfect to have them all in one collection. You will not be disappointed. A must read.

I loved the box set. Eric Steele is fast becoming one of my go-to authors for Mafia books The series revolves around the Polizzi family and each book is expertly written and riddled with action, suspense, drama, twists and turns and off the charts chemistry between the couples. An absolute MUST read.

Great!
I chose this rating because this was a really great series. I enjoyed most all of the characters. This series was well written. I commend the author. From the first book to the sixth was great. I recommend this book to all and romance reader because their was a good bit of that in here. Great read!

Not horrible but could be better
The plot of this book is great. The context and subplot were fantastic. That said, the writing style could definitely use some polishing. It was a tad bit elementary. The dialog didn't feel natural. But those are all things that can get better with time because when the ideas are this good, it only takes a little more work.

Enjoyable quick reads
The stories were easy to read & fadt yo go through. The plots were uncomplicated & it was easy to figure out where the story was going. Nonetheless it is good to read each story as it unfolds as the main hero is connected to the next story that follows. They are standalones but interconnected as a group of friends & family.

The first 3 books are absolutely amazing, best books I have read. the other 3 are alright but they weren't needed
