Worm Boy

Rate this book
Corbin began putting up ads for his services. Old rich women welcomed him into their homes for an evening of intimacy. They adored young, unkempt men. He’d spent five years roaming from city to city taking jobs, sleeping with women, waiting for his worms, maggots, insects to hatch inside them, and within hours they were nothing but gaping shells for the curse to devour. Corbin would pocket their valuables and be on his way.

Corbin is cursed, but he's quite the opportunist. He uses his unique curse to punish "deserving" women and then steals their valuables.

This story was repulsive, but had a seductive nature that only Bedlam can pull off. Some of the imagery was foul, beyond vulgar and the characters were all flawed. Bedlam takes an ordinary "curse" theme and turns it into so much more. Fans of Mother Maggot by Simon Mchardy will enjoy this wriggling tale of disgust.
