“She cupped his jaw and kissed him, along his fuller bottom lip. Jadar froze, a low hiss sticking in his throat.
When Mina pulled away, he looked lost...and hungry, staring at her mouth. Then he shocked her and flowed forward to kiss her back—more or less, as something hard chucked her chin. She felt firm lips push against her parted ones and the swipe of his bristled tongue, or it might have been teeth. Either way, it floored her. And she leaned in, following when he broke away.
“We breed well together.”
