USA Today and national bestselling author Carol Ross grew up in small-town America right between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, in a place where you can go deep sea fishing in the morning and then hit the ski slopes the same afternoon. The daughter of free-range parents, she developed a love of adventure and the outdoors at a very early age. She’s grateful for the “research material” that every questionable decision, adrenaline-charged misstep, and near-death experience has provided.

CATCHING MR. RIGHT is the story of Victoria who is trying to make a better life for her daughter, Scarlett and herself. But when Seth James arrives, things get totally crazy! Seth and Victoria are finalists in a spokesperson competition for a famous fishing gear brand called Romeo Reels. They first meet at Victoria’s families fishing resort where the first round of competition begins. I fell in love, almost instantly with Victoria’s family and I’m sure you will too. Hold on people, it’s going to be a very bumpy but funny ride!

CATCHING MR. RIGHT is the seventh book in the Seasons of Alaska series. That being said, you can easily read this one as a stand alone which is what i did. I can’t wait to go back and read the ones I missed and continue with this series. Carol Ross writes about characters that become real right before your eyes. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. CATCHING MR. RIGHT is a heart tugging and wonderful tale and I loved it. I loved how Seth was very judgmental of Victoria but she proved him wrong over and over again. I soon found myself cheering for her every time I turned the page.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading CATCHING MR. RIGHT. It is funny and heart warming and filled with so many different emotions. There is so much going on in this story, but Carol Ross does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. All of the characters will have you feeling sad and then giggling on the same page. More than once I wanted to be in Alaska fishing with these wonderful and loving people! Once you finish devouring this story, you are going to want to tell everyone you know about this awesome book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Prism Book Tours. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I really enjoy this author’s Seasons of Alaska series, and I’ve been looking forward to Seth’s story. But honestly, fishing and I don’t get along … and I find watching fishing on television even less exciting than watching golf (read: snooze fest lol). So I was a little nervous going in to Catching Mr. Right but I can happily report now that it may be my fave book in this series so far!

It didn’t take me long at all to fall in love with Victoria & her whole family, including young neighbor Quinn. I already suspected I would love Seth (and I did!), and the sparks between him and Victoria (“Vic”) kept the swoon level high throughout. It surprised me, though, how much I loved the supporting characters in this book too. I already mentioned adoring Vic’s family – her mother, her grandmother, her daughter Scarlett, and their young neighbor boy Quinn – but my heart also instantly connected with Henry (the other contestant Seth & Vic are competing with) and Hazel (one of Seth’s sisters & his triplet).

Ross did a great job of weaving the competition between Vic, Seth & Henry throughout the book, without getting bogged down in it. Instead, each scene involving the spokesperson contest served to advance each character’s development and helped us see them more clearly. At the same time, the competition did add layers to the plot on its own and, because we’ve gotten to know all 3 characters as the book – and contest – progressed, I truly had trouble deciding who I wanted to win. (I was very satisfied with how the author tied it all up at the end though.)

Bottom Line: Catching Mr. Right by Carol Ross has it all – swoony & sweet romance, humor, banter, fabulously layered main & supporting characters, a high-stakes competition, and a couple of dramatic moments to send your heart into your throat. The author’s writing style is warm and witty, and her settings easily come alive for the reader. With some great kisses and a couple of intriguing side plots added in as well, you’re in for a truly enjoyable read. Perfect for fans of Beth Carpenter, Janet Ferguson, and Ruth Logan Herne!

With romance being my favourite genre I was excited to receive a complimentary eARC of Catching Mr Right from Harlequin Heartwarming, Carol Ross and Prism Book Tours.
This is the 7th book in the Seasons of Alaska series. Seth and Victoria are finalists in a spokesperson competition for a famous fishing gear brand called Romeo Reels. They first meet at Victoria's families fishing resort where the first round of competition begins. By the time that first round is over they find they have a connection and a romance begins that they need to keep secret from the people running the competition. But love can never be easy so there is always some kind of struggle thrust in their path.
This is a completely clean romance where they barely even kiss or even think about each other in a sexual nature so it will appeal to readers who don't need the steamy side of things. I enjoyed seeing how the romance progressed and the challenges they had to overcome. Some elements of the story I could predict but other times I had no idea how it was going to go. All three of the competitors were likeable characters so I was rooting for them all to be winners. Seth's family are so much fun to read about too so I'm sure I will read more of this series. I'm hoping his twin sister Hazel is the next story as there was a bit of foreshadowing.
Overall this is a nice heart-warming romance and if you're like me you'll be crying for the last 20% of the story.

What a fun read. So many characters to fall in love with. Also at one point Ms. Ross even mentioned the town that I live in. Really enjoyed the story line and would love to see Henry, Hazel and some of the others get their own story if she chooses to do so.

Victoria has become a finalist in the a fishing contest where the winner will be the spokesperson for Romeo Reels. She has to host another contestant (Seth) who happens to be from Alaska.

Then you get introduced to the third contestant Henry. I found it so hard to pick which one I wanted to win. Check out the book I think you will love it as much as I did.

I have read most of the "Seasons of Alaska" books and have really enjoyed them because of the community of people and setting. Although this story was mostly about fishing-which is not of interest to me-I still enjoyed it and getting to know Vic, Seth, Hazel, Henry, Scarlett, and others.

I liked reading about Victoria's family and life in Louisiana at her campground resort. As she gets to know fellow fishing competitor Seth, they develop a friendship and travel around with Romeo Reels fishing group. I liked reading about their traveling adventures and their passion for fishing and educating others.

I enjoyed this easy reading, clean romance story about hope, love and family-and of course fishing! I can't wait to read more Alaskan adventures by this author. I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

I’m steadily becoming a lover of romance! I like to mix up my interests, and occasionally I love a good story about two people getting to know each other through fun experiences. Catching Mr. Right was a lovely tale, featuring Seth and Victoria taking part in friendly competition!

Catching Mr. Right is the seventh book in the Seasons of Alaska series, but this can also be read as a standalone. This installment follows Seth’s story in finding love! Throughout the book Seth and Victoria have many lively scenes of dialogue. I felt like this was a lovely buildup for their connection as the book moved forward. The descriptions between Seth and Victoria’s daughter was also wonderful!

If you’re interested in a great, slow burn romance, Catching Mr. Right is the story for you!

Such a great cast of characters, not just the two leads but Victoria's daughter and the other contestant, all connected with their love of fishing. Not to mention Victoria's whole family as well as Seth's. Victoria has some very good reasons for keeping Seth at a distance and trying to keep her secrets. One from Alaska, the other from Louisiana, he's well traveled, she's hardly left home. They're all wrong for each other in some ways, but just right in all the ways that count. Loved this story.

I just finished this book and noticed it was book 7 of the Seasons of Alaska Series. This was the first one that I have read, so I think I have some catching up yet to do! But the book was a fine stand-alone book, regardless.

The story is in the Louisiana Bayou region and the lead character is Victoria Thibodeaux, a strong female lead and resort owner. She's a single mom and a very competitive one when it comes to business matters! She is determined to become a spokeswoman for an important sports company. I especially enjoyed the fishing, as my husband has taken me on many of his fishing adventures. I found the whole fishing theme to be a new area of reading for me, which was definitely fun.

I loved to see the great personalities of the characters and the great writing that developed them into a very interesting storyline.

I received a copy of this book from the author. All thoughts are my own.

Thank you in advance to the author, Carol Ross, for providing a complimentary review copy through Prism Book Tours. A positive review was not requested or required, and all words are my own.

While this is the first book in the series Seasons of Alaska I have read, I am definitely not new to Carol Ross’ books. I previously read Second Chance for the Single Dad (standalone read) and Montana Match (Blackwell Sisters #4). I love the Heartwarming line not just because they’re clean, wholesome, and great reads – some of the stories are heart-breaking, yet endearing, realistic, candid, and often enlightening.

Even though book this is part of a series; it is easily read as a standalone and focuses more on Seth than his family. Though I would LOVE to read In The Doctor’s Arms (Seasons of Alaska #6) to see Seth introduced.

The cover starts off just right – cozy, relaxing, realistic, fun – really sets the vibe off. Almost like an ad for a place like Bass Pro. It could definitely be a TV movie poster or ad.

Ross’ characters, and there are a lot of them in this one, are as different as can be. Seth is of course an angler in Alaska, and Victoria is one in Louisiana. Victoria is a single mom who lives with her grandmother, mother, and daughter – four generations. A rarity in some cases. Family is important, as are their morals and their work ethics. Seth is a triplet with two sisters.

Seth’s friendliness, even outside of the competition, is sweet and absolutely endearing. While competitive, he isn’t the “win at all costs” competitive type.

Another character I loved was Henry, a competing fellow angler. I wasn’t sure at first how I was going to feel about him. He seemed too good to be true, but he definitely won me over. Especially when Victoria really needed him. He came across as a “father-like” figure.

I deeply despised Victoria’s ex-husband Austin. My problem was something I see all too often in real life – a parent or parents using their child as a prop or to get ahead for their career. Worse when it involves politics. So, to say the author keeps it real – she does with vivid and descriptive language. He was honestly the WORST part of the story, but much needed, sad to say.

I completely related to Scarlett, as I too was raised by my mother and grandmother since I was four (4). Like her, my father wasn’t in the picture, and still isn’t (even decades later).

Just as important to the characters – the setting. This particular book focuses on the Louisiana setting. And, it has a bit of a Cajun flair to it. A setting rarely used in any type of romance novel. Let’s face it – gators and swamps are not romantic settings, yet Ross makes it work.

This is a sweet, but slow build-up romance.

With the plot centering on competing anglers, Ross reels the reader right in to this sweet and catchy story; that, at one point; deals with the cancel culture prevalent in social media. As this does deal with a fishing competition, there will be a lot of fishing and angling terms.

After the first chapter, I was really “hooked” into this one. The beginning is just adorable with Seth, Scarlett, and Victoria.

But, Victoria is hiding a secret – more than one. And, she feels a bit inadequate as a result. Most of that centers around Austin, Scarlett’s father.

As a family themed book, there was some good-natured ribbing about things. And, the sweet tea? I can make a good batch of it. The retort about tea bags definitely made me snicker.

The competition is for Romeo Reels’ spokesperson, a job that will definitely help Victoria’s family. In her “test”, Victoria relates a story about a digital camera which I found interesting. I came into digital photography December 2004, so it wasn’t that far from when Victoria’s story took place.

Even Seth can see that Victoria is what they’re looking for, and it is nice to see someone’s competitive side recognize their competitor’s best traits.

One little piece of knowledge I loved was when Gerard (one of the people from Romeo Reels) stated “It’s interesting, isn’t it? How sometimes the things we want, and work so hard for, don’t turn out like we anticipate.”

There is also talk of education, and certain people do get a bad reputation for having no “real” education, but some make up for it in wisdom. And, this book is also keen on point out the wisdom of certain things.

Almost immediately, Victoria is comfortable around Seth, even her grandmother and mother see the closeness the two share. She tries not to compare Seth to Austin, and there is NO competition. Seth is obviously by far the better man (I’ll admit some bias there).

And, yes a romance blooms between Seth and Victoria, long distance for now. But, Victoria also has her hands full with Austin, who I just didn’t trust. Especially when he changes his mind about Scarlett.

Henry enters the picture when Victoria heads to his area to compete.

What starts out as a simple competition turns into a national marketing and promotion campaign in the media.

Despite the fact there could only be one (1) winner, I was HONESTLY rooting for all three of them. Henry knows there is something going on between Seth and Victoria, even Marissa sees the sparks right there.

I was hoping for Seth and Victoria as a couple to win. And, not that isn’t alluding to the end of this. It was just something I was thinking.

Someone from Seth’s past shows up to spoil things …

Sadly, Victoria’s past comes up causing a dramatic shift in the entire tone of the book. It is the part of her past that she doesn’t reveal to Seth. There were two people I thought – 100% positive – that did it. The way Ross wrote this – it certainly had a HIGH PROBABILITY.

Even when the truth was revealed I really didn’t buy it. That’s how convincing the author was.

However, as we all know – this is a happily ever after ending. And, whatever I thought was going on, I was wrong. But, by page 305, with 70+ pages left, I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN. It really was a “don’t stop reading no matter what” moment.

I am not saying the other two books I read were bad, far from it. They were good with respect to their plots. This really was, from what I read, the author’s best work.

One interesting note, sometimes typos escape even editors, so this has a few (less than three). Usually that is something more common to ARCs than finished products. It doesn’t deter from the overall enjoyment of the book, and I very much enjoyed this.

Fans of the author, readers of the previous books in the series, and someone with an interest in fishing will more than likely LOVE this sweet and precious read.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Prism Book Tours. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Catching Mr. Right by Carol Ross is about finding love and catching fish.
Will Victoria keep her past where it belongs while also landing her dream job? And maybe her dream man?
Victoria Thibodeaux
Victoria Thibodeaux is a young single mother who is great at fishing and taking care of her family's little resort that has been apart of the family for generations. Her grandmother and mother raised her; they help her raise her eleven-year-old daughter Scarlett. They also happen to live in Louisiana, right near a bayou. Plenty of fishing opportunities that way. I loved Victoria as a person and outright didn't like her ex-husband when he pops in.

Scarlett's life reminds me of my own being raised by my mom on her own and having some opportunities not happen because of certain reasons. Another thing that reminds me of my own life is Victoria's grandmother Effie reminds me of my great-grandmother, who also lived in Louisiana in her youth. The Thibodeaux family holds a piece of my heart as it felt like coming home when I was reading about Victoria's relationship with her mom and grandma and, of course, with her own daughter Scarlett.
Seth James
CATCHING MR. RIGHT CRSeth James is a fisherman from Alaska who is after the same job opportunity as Victoria. I liked how he is nice to everyone and could even get Ms. Effie to like him. Seeing how well he liked his family shown even without reading the other six books before this one. Seth is a warm, friendly person who loves to fish, knows what he wants, and knows when he has met someone that deserves something more than him. He is a fantastic person, and I liked reading when Ms. Ross shifted to his point of view. It truly shows how much Seth loves Scarlett in this book from the many things he does for her or what he wants to do.

Seth is so caring with Scarlett and even her best friend, Quinn. He doesn't hesitate to do something for those Thibodeaux women when they need some help.
Five Stars
Catching Mr. Right by Carol Ross is another outstanding job by this wonderful author. Making me fall in love with her characters and being reminded of family that I miss. Ms. Ross has a way with her words that have literally made me laugh out loud at some of the sayings she has said in here reminding me of my own childhood, to crying for the characters, whether it be sad tears or happy tears, to rooting for them and wanting something good to happen to them. When a book does this for me, it's a no-brainer that I am giving it five stars and a huge recommendation to everyone, even if you don't like fishing.

Witty, moving and delightful, Carol Ross’s Catching Mr Right is a heartfelt and emotional tale readers will find simply irresistible.

With her business struggling and a young daughter to bring up, Louisiana angler Victoria Thibodeaux needs to do something fast if she doesn’t want her livelihood to go under. Finding herself running out of options, Victoria needs to get the spokesman contract for a company called Romeo Reels. Victoria vows to pull out all the stops and to secure the contract and she is not going to let anything or anyone stand in her way – until her rival, Alaskan fisherman Seth James swoops in and threatens to derail all of her plans!

Charming, confident and devastatingly handsome, Seth thinks that this contract is as good as his – however, it turns out that he has got some serious competition in Victoria, who is not about to let him steal this job out from under her! Seth isn’t initially worried about Victoria – until he starts spending time with her and realizes that keeping his mind on the job is going to prove much harder than he initially thought! Falling in love hadn’t been part of the plan, so why can’t he simply focus on the job at hand and stop thinking about Victoria?

As Victoria and Seth find themselves getting closer and closer, will they give into their feelings for one another? Or will this job end up getting in the way of a love that could last a lifetime?

With a beguiling blend of sweet romance, emotional drama and searing intensity, Catching Mr Right is a charming, uplifting and poignant tale readers will find tender, touching and emotional. The chemistry between Victoria and Seth is electric and their sparkling banter is sure to delight and entertain readers everywhere.

A spellbinding contemporary romance, Carol Ross’s Catching Mr Right is a feel-good romance that is absolutely perfect for curling up with.

#BookReview: CATCHING MR. RIGHT by Carol Ross

I have never been fishing but fishermen amazes me. I just love to eat a good fish. Well Vic and Seth are both fisherman or angler as what the author calls them in this book. They are set to compete as spokesperson for Romeo Reels. Prepare for a lot of talks about fishing and lures. It’s interesting how excited they get to be out in the water and all the fishing knowledge they throw like it’s common everyday conversation. I’m amazed more at Victoria and Scarlett. I just don’t know a woman who is a fisherman. They are good at what they do and just love it! They are passionate about it.

It’s a competition so I was hoping to have a glimpse of Henry’s time in Alaska with Seth too. But I’m glad they get along well as shown in their time in Florida. The competition seems surreal with everything that’s going on. I like the drama and twist in the story. It revealed the truth as well as the character’s true feelings

I enjoyed Quinn and Scarlett’s friendship. But I am not a fan of snakes so I didn’t like when they talked about it. Vic and Seth’s relationship was interesting to me. I didn’t feel much spark but I guess their shared love for fishing and family intensified their feelings towards each other. I would love to see Corinne’s cakes and taste Ms. Effie’s tea. Seth’s time with them was precious.

This is a slow burn story family drama, love and fishing. It's a clean romance. I enjoyed meeting the different family members. It sounds like there is something fishy going on between Hazel and Cricket. I would love to read about them. 4 stars

I received a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

I have never really taken an interest in fishing so this was a slow start for me, but after the halfway point I was rushing to finish this.

Victoria and Seth are both competing for their dream job as a spokesperson for a fishing company. At first, I wasn't really liking Victoria since she was very competitive to start and hesitant on friendship with her competition, but after she eased up on Seth and decided that a friendship, or more, was not such a bad idea, I started to like her more.

From the get-go, I thought Seth would be my favorite with his care-free and very understanding demeanor. I was right, he and Quinn and Meme were my absolute favorites in this book. Seth was all around perfect with his own faults, but they were not in anyway over-exaggerated, just used as a way to really humble him.

*Spoiler Spot*
I really enjoyed it when Austin got his in the end. Effie was perfect with execution and I wanted to sit right there to see Austin and his dad's face as she told them off.
*End of Spoiler*

The Thibodeaux and James families were such a treat to read about. Victoria's family was so interesting and her mom and grandma can really be intimidating when they need to be. I wish I had the other books now to see more of the James family and what shenanigans they get into.

Overall a 4.25 star read. I recommend it if you like clean romance that's a slow burn and fishing. The last 70 pages or so are where you won't want to put the book down though.

Another in the Seasons of Alaska series in which the setting heads south to the bayous of Louisiana, where angler and family resort owner Victoria Thibodeaux is competing to become the spokesperson for a major sports equipment firm.

One of her competitors is Alaska fisherman Seth James who quickly realizes he'd rather land Vic than the position they are applying for. The third person in the race is an older gentleman named Henry who realizes that Seth is smitten with Vic long before she is willing to admit to herself that she's bonkers for him, too.

While their competitions go well and so also the big conference gathering where the winner is to be announced, the actions years earlier of Vic's ex-husband and father to her daughter, Scarlett, are published, but it's Victoria's reputation that is going to be wrecked. And she refuses to tell the truth to Seth lest doing so might ruin his chance of becoming the spokesperson for the big firm.

Thank goodness for friends and relatives who step in to find out what really happened and who's really at fault. Especially fierce is Vic's mother and grandmother and their decision to take on her ex-husband and his father. Scenes where I couldn't help cheering loudly for their skillfulness in presenting them a platter of crow and insisting they eat it!

We need more stories where women win over the despicable actions of jerk-face men and this one is a winner in that category.

Who knew that a book centered around fishing would be so engaging, but in Catching Mr. Right, Carol Ross combines a competition with a lesson in angling and so much more.

Seth’s friendly nature and easy-going personality are so likable, even his surety he’s got the spokesperson job in the bag doesn’t take away from his likability. Victoria takes a little more warming up to, but it doesn’t take long before you see her walls are meant to protect her bruised heart.

Even Henry (the third person in the competition) is amiable and kind-hearted. Kudos to Ross for not making one of the three a villain and keeping us guessing who would end up with the biggest career catch.

There was so much packed into this book other than the fishing. Family, mistakes of the past, friendship, and of course romance only scratch the surface. Even if you haven’t read the other books in the series, Catching Mr. Right is one book you should pick up.

And please, let there be a book coming that details that little scene with Seth’s sister Hazel and Cricket!

This book was so very heartfelt with more emotions that I just don’t know how to word. All good I assure you. This is Book 7 in the Seasons of Alaska by Ms. Ross. I haven’t read them in order, and I haven’t read them all. The ones I have read I truly loved as I loved this one.
When single mother Victoria Thibodeaux enters a contest to win spokesperson for Romeo Reels to give something more to her daughter, and do something for herself well things get interesting when she meets Seth James the man who will be staying at her family campground. He’s a fisherman from Alaska, and going after the same thing. He somehow wins her daughter Scarlett over, and her daughters friend as well. He even goes further and wins her mom plus her grandma over.
They may have started off on the wrong foot, but something transpires between them. She still can’t confide in him about things of her past. But things turn not so great in a blink of an eye. Her past has come back to hunt her. She has to pull back from him. She just can’t put herself out there for a let down like before with her ex-husband.

Preorder book right now. So much more to come. You want to read this book. Highly recommend.

Catching Mr. Right is part of The Seasons of Alaska series but can definitely be read as a stand alone. This is Seth and Victoria's story of finding friends, love and adventure while dealing with the past. Victoria, Seth and Henry are the three final contestants vying for the job of spokesperson for Romeo Reels and must each host one of the other contestants for a fishing excursion along with the voting panel. Victoria is a divorced, single mom who is trying to make a better life for her daughter and desperately wants to win, but when a past incident is revealed she starts to lose all hope. Seth comes from a family of over-achievers and wants this job but soon realizes that he wants Victoria more. Henry is a gentle, father figure like person who tries to help solve Victoria's problems. This is a wonderfully written story filled with a range of emotions and many different little nuances that will entertain and delight. The characters and secondary characters are wonderfully unique and add a fantastic dimension to the growth of the story.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

I adored this book! It was cute, lighthearted, relatable characters, and overall made me smile from the first to last page.

Louisiana. Victoria comes from a strong line of powerful women. Vic is raised by her single mother and single grandmother while also being a single mother herself raising her 11 year old daughter, Scarlett. Together they all run a resort focused on wildlife and fishing.

Alaska. Seth has always wanted to be an angler. He is one of six kids, he himself is a triplet, all who have amounted to very successful adults. Single with no children of his own.

When Romeo Reels hosts a competition for finding the next spokesperson for their business, Seth, Victoria, and Henry (single father from Minnesota) all work tirelessly to rise to the top.

I loved that this was a friendly competition and each of the 3 competitors worked to help bring out the best of each other. Of course there was a love story but more importantly I appreciated the character development and predictable ending without adding in too many mysteries to overshadow the storyline. So many great friendships were made in this book too!

I enjoyed this book it was really a fun read
The story involves 3 people who are vying for a job as spokesperson for a top multi-million dollar company. The fishing competition between Seth, Victoria & Henry occurs in various cities from Louisiana to Alaska. The competition is stiff. There’s lots of humor involving the contest I especially enjoyed the bet where the 2 losers jump off a high pier. Carol Ross handled the issue of one of them having a fear of heights very well! There’s family drama when Victoria’s daughter, Scarlet, is bitten by a poisonous snake. And more so involving Victoria’s “snake” of an ex-husband & his criminal actions.
Lots of good emotions; while I was reading this I found myself laughing, cheering on all three competitors, wanting to kick the ex-husband and hug the grandma and great grandma. Has an outstanding ending for the three competitors, their family and happy readers alike. I highly recommend this book & look forward to reading other books by Ms Ross. I received a copy from the author for an honest review.

What a lovely romance about two people who fall in love. What makes this one so special is that they are both competing for the same prize, to be the face of Romeo Reels by showing who would be the better fit. Not only did I enjoy the competitiveness, but it was also about pro-fishing which I know next to nothing about.

So with the background unique, the story quickly captured my attention. Seth is such a cutie pie and his pursuit for Victoria was heartwarming and at times swoony. There were a few misunderstandings and it took awhile for Victoria not to be an ice queen and to open up about her secrets to Seth. Seth was also great with her daughter, mother, and grandmother, if you couldn't tell he was my favorite.

I was provided a copy of this novel from the author. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.

Such a sweetly heartwarming story!
I so enjoyed reading Carol Ross’ new book Catching Mr. Right. It had interesting dialogue, great descriptions, and really good background. The main characters (Victoria & Seth) had just the right touch of tension and easily captured my interest (my only complaint was that I did not want the story to end!). Plus, I loved the fishing world aspect. Although I have never been a huge fisher (so I do not know a whole lot of the terminology used) but I though Carol Ross did a good job explaining it in a nutshell while still making it fit seamlessly into her story and the lives of her characters.
Overall, I give this book 4 out of 5 stars for the heart touching story, the vivid details, and for Carol Ross’ beautifully done characters.
*I volunteered to read this book in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own.

Catching Mr. Right is the seventh book in the Seasons of Alaska series. I have not read any of the series, but I had no trouble reading it as a stand-alone. It was a clean and fun romance that will touch your heart. As always, the author’s characters are charming, heartwarming, and easy to love. The fishing theme was unusual, but I found it to be interesting even though I don’t fish! The story draws you in and you feel like you are fishing right along with all the characters. All the side characters that were competing were wonderful and I found myself cheering them all on. I thought the ending was perfect and I really enjoyed all the humor, banter, and intrigue. After reading this book, I discovered another series that I want to continue reading.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Catching Mr. Right by Carol Ross is a sweet romance featuring a single mother raising her son alone while trying to give him everything he deserves. Then, there's this new guy who comes to her family's resort for the fishing tournament. He and her will be head-tot-head in competition. She wants to win it for the new income which she needs and to give her son a vacation trip. However, the new guy presents a threat to her confidence in winning the tournament. However, there is also the romance sparks heating up between the two. That brings another problem to the already heaping pile. Carol Ross is a natural at creating the most realistic novels while combining heartfelt moments, family centered themes, and a romance unlike any other. For fans of Hallmark movies and clean reads, this is worth reading!

I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.

With her signature ease at weaving a tale and tugging on our heartstrings Carol Ross once again delighted me on a return visit to her Seasons of Alaska series! With a fresh plot concept, a couple of adorable kiddos and an easy to like couple, we embark on a journey of love and forgiveness in CATCHING MR. RIGHT and I loved every minute of it!

Victoria is a character that is pure comfort to be around and you're rooting for her every minute of the book. She is all about family and giving them all the best life possible.

Seth was sweet and easily brought a smile to my face with his easy friendship with the kids.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a heartwarming small town romance with a guaranteed HEA and a cast of great characters.

Talk about a book well done Carol has done it again. Meeting the character Victoria, she brings her to life that anyone can relate to her in someway. I love Seth for he is the type of guy anyone would love as a friend then a boyfriend. Carol does a excellent job of breathing life into this story. She mixes a little bit of suspense with romance. Plus alot of fishing which proves to be interesting. I look forward to her next story. Who will it be? I'm curious to see if it will be Hazel. J

What an excellent story!! Very well written, and great characters. Each character had personalities that were incredible. I loved the whole family, and all but two of the characters in the book!
