Fairy Tale Billionaires #2

The Billionaire's Beauty

Rate this book
They call him The Beast for good reason. Now this billionaire boss wants his beautiful--and off-limits--assistant...

Griffin: They call me The Beast. Some people think I’m a bully. I’m not here to make friends. I ruthlessly clawed my way to the top of the real estate market in NYC. No friends needed.

She’s my feisty executive assistant. My right hand… woman. We have an unspoken arrangement: she pretends I’m smarter than she is while I pretend not to notice how sexy she is.

That was before she gave me her notice while wearing that dress.

I can do a lot. Run my family empire. Ignore the loneliness the top brings. Punch anyone who looks twice at her. But letting her go without a fight? Over my dead body…

Griffin has lately started noticing his assistant, Bellamy, for the beauty she is, and he's quite unhappy about it. He knows better than to set himself up for a sexual harassment suit by pursuing her. But when Bellamy is just as attracted to him as he is to her...well you can imagine what happens. Can this beast be tamed by his beauty?

Well, yes, eventually, but not without Griffin's fair share of painful behavior, behavior the strong, sassy Bellamy doesn't put up with. Griffin's practically riddled with insecurities and low self esteem, and allows this to guide his behavior. Damaged is putting it lightly I'd say. But in due course, the two find their way to happiness, and I was cheering them on as they lived their modern fairy tale.

This was my first Ava Ryan read and ARC, and I absolutely enjoyed it! Since this was my first book from her, I didn't know what to expect... whether I'll jive with her thought process or with the characters.

Suffice to say that I love Griffin and Bellamy! Their dynamic, their banter, chemistry... it was a page turner. I love that both characters are family-centric and that both are brace enough to overcome their respective apprehensions.

It was a light and easy read and would be awesome to read after a grueling or stressful day! It's sexy, sweet and swoon-worthy!

Dear Ava Ryan,

Thank you! Thank you for carefully curating a story such as The Billionaire’s Beauty where all of my favorite elements reside. As a new to me author, you have excited me because I have a new author to add to my list of favorite authors. Your careful plotting and characterizations have pulled me into this series of emotionally-stunted billionaires, and I don’t want to leave. If you want to know all the reasons for my love of The Billionaire’s Beauty, well here goes…

Griffin. Griffin is the kind of hero that I ADORE. There is nothing better than a broken hero, one who needs a strong partner to help him find himself, to help him be honest with himself. And Griffin is just such a hero. From his “beastly” persona to his very soft, hurt child underbelly, Griffin is the type of hero whom you want to pull into your arms and soothe that beast. Put aside his handsomeness; it’s his character, his need for Bellamy that makes him dreamy. As his trainwreck of a journey unveils in the story, as the reader, you cannot help but “tut” this hero because he has no idea what’s coming ahead of him, but as the reader, you see it plainly. Yet, even when he makes ill-advised choices, you root for him because you know that he will fall even deeper once he self-actualizes and figures out where his true love lies. You know that, at his core, he is a big ole teddy bear of a man for the right woman. Throughout your story, Ava Ryan, I was right there with that fool of a hero, and it was delicious.

Bellamy. If Griffin is the trainwreck of this story (even though he tries so hard to hide it), then Bellamy is the crew set to fix the train. Here’s the thing. She is the smartest person in the story, and I love…love, love, love that you made her so very strong. I read this type of story all the time, and I cringe when authors make these incredibly independent women too weak for the broken hero. But not you, Ava Ryan. Instead, you made her stalwart. She doesn’t readily moon over Griffin. She’s internal. She challenges his gruff exterior; she sees him, and she expects him to rise to the challenge of understanding his wounds. Even when he makes a “sacrifice” for her, she accepts it, and you place the mother of monologues in her mouth. Like Griffin, I ADORED Bellamy because she is clearly Griffin’s best fit, and you deftly crafted her to be just that.

I enjoyed the first book of your series, The Billionaire’s Princess. I didn’t think any of the other Black brothers could unseat Damon from the top spot for this series. And I was completely and utterly incorrect. Griffin did it. The second book of the Fairy Tale Billionaires’ series is the best thus far. With Ryker’s story coming next, I am hoping for a big story from you, Ava Ryan. To be honest, I’m not sure how you’ll top Griffin and Bellamy’s romance, but I believe you can do it.

I loved Griffin and Bellamy’s story. My favorite heroines are ones who don’t put up with any shenanigans from their guys. I also love a good office romance! Just a great book!

Griffin has earned his reputation for being a demanding and difficult boss as he is used to people doing whatever he asks, whenever he wants without a second thought. The only exception to the rule is his assistant who intrigues him both personally and professionally.

Bellamy is feisty, fiery and isn’t about to just take the behavior that Griffin dishes out even if she is attracted to him. With her circumstances about to change she decides to finally have what she has always wanted but will it mean the end or the beginning?

Griffin is a man who still bears the emotional scars of the past and Bellamy is just the woman to show him that the past doesn’t dictate the future.

I just love retelling of fairy tales with a modern twist! Griffin is a Beast in the boardroom and his personal life. He is all growly and unapproachable. Bellamy, his executive assistant, takes no BS from him. She’s no push over and doesn’t fall apart or at his feet when he is all growly. I absolutely loved the witty banter between the characters and their chemistry sizzled. Will the sassy Beauty be able to tame the Beast?

Sometimes I enjoy a light contemporary romance to cleanse the palate and this one was very enjoyable.

A grumpy real estate executive, one of three billionaire brothers who run their own company, falls for his extraordinarily efficient and mentally tough personal assistant. He may be known as “the Beast” at the office (a moniker ironically bestowed upon him by his own crush) but she won’t be pushed around, at the office or outside of it. It was just fun to see them sparring. Happy ever after guaranteed.

She's a beauty right there💗💗

I love it!This story was captivating and entertaining. This is my first time reading from Ava collection. Griffin is rough around the edges. He is rich, cold, and sexy. He have been knocked out of his seat when he least expected. He finally met his match with Bellamy. He is in uncharted territory with relationships. Bellamy is the one. She is smart, amazing and beautiful. She decides to take a leap of faith. She is the best assistant! She is honest and stand up for herself. Their journey is a bumpy one eventually gets their happy ever after. Ava writing was done really good that I have no trouble jumping right in. Amazing work Ava Ryan!

Fun, modern fairytale romance
5 stars

This is the second book in Ava Ryan’s Fairy Tale Billionaire series, after The Billionaire's Princess. Each book in this trilogy focuses on a different brother, and events of each book happens at the same time as each other, so you can read one or all and in any order you like.

It’s a surprise to no-one that this story is based on Beauty and the Beast - or as much as it can really be, I suppose. There’s no locking people up, singing candlesticks or enchanted roses, for example. But some of the little references and nods to the fairytale are quite cute and had me chuckling.

This is the story of the beastly Griffin and his feisty executive assistant, Bellamy. She apparently also goes by Bella - not that I recall anyone actually calling her that in the book. She’s a fun character - believable and likeable. On handing in her notice, she decides to finally go after what she wants. And despite his grumpy, surly nature - she wants Griffin. So it’s not really a story of Beauty tames the Beast - but more Beauty knows the Beast’s personality and and likes him anyway!

Ava Ryan can do no wrong with her heroes in my opinion. Make no bones about it, Griffin is a beast. Not just in work but in life, too. But as soon as he and Bellamy get together, he turns into this slightly obsessed, giant teddy bear. To see him smitten just gave me the happys.

Griffin and Bellamy’s relationship is not without its faults. In fact, other than their time in the Hamptons, most of the time they seem to be at odds with each other. Griffin had some real fears and insecurities about him and Bellamy - in fact, I just wanted to give him a big hug much of the time - so I can understand why there was friction…but I would have loved it more if we also got to see the pair when they were connecting, laughing and happy.

But they were both very happy during the sex scenes. And so was I.

It’s obviously early days but so far Ava Ryan just keeps getting better. Modern day fairytales with great characters and stories that’ll make you never want to put the book down. 5 stars for this book from me and I’m looking forward to reading Ryker’s story next in The Billionaire's Cinderella.

* I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review *

Ava Ryan has done a great job with this workplace romance. Book two in the Fairy Tale Billionaires Series and so far, my favorite. From the moment I started reading I was hooked. The connection between Griffin and Bellamy was obvious from the first moment we met them.

No one walks away from me. Not a client, not a deal...I won’t let her go, either.

Normally I am not a fan of seeing the POV of the hero, but I would not have changed a thing. To truly understand him we needed to see first-hand what made him the way he was. It seemed like he was the most affected by what happened with their mother. Although he was known as the “Beast” in the office he was the complete opposite when it came to Bellamy when they were together. It was like day and night.

I take a good look at Bellamy for the first time, wondering if I’ve been imagining the way she’s gotten under my skin in the last several days.

I love Bellamy’s character. She is strong and independent and went after what she wanted. While I am sure it helped that she knew she was leaving it could not have been easy to put her feelings out there. She was not your typical heroine. Even when he told her to go, she did not break down she fought him and called him on it all. I was glad she did not make him work too hard for it when she showed up at his house. She knew this was a big step for him and she was willing to give him another shot.

The sight of that glowing skin, shifting hair and insane figure is like a lightning strike to my entire existence.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Just as in book one I wish we were able to see more of their relationship after they got together. I would have liked to see what happened with law school and her father. While we have seen the brothers in both books this is the first time, we have seen one of the brothers storyline being built. I am anxious to see what is going to happen with Ryker and Ella’s story.

Thank you Greys Promo and Ava Ryan for gifting me this ARC. This opinion is my own thoughts.

📚 Book 2 of Fairy Tale Billionaire Series
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4.5/5 Stars
🔥🔥🔥 3/5 Steam Factor

If you’ve been anything like me lately, this virtual school thing is kicking your butt. I knew life would be busy but I didn’t realize it would be quite like this. So on those rare moments that I could sneak away and grab a book, I was happy to grab this one! This was an easy read with a storyline flowed nicely, two likable characters, and some steamy scenes to keep your blood pumping.

We first met Griffin in the first book of the series that followed his brother Damon. Don’t worry, this book can easily be read as a stand-alone, though I highly recommend reading Damon’s story too because he’s worth it. 😉 One thing that I didn’t expect was that this book would be taking place at the same time as the first book in the series 🤯 How often do you see that happen?

While this series might be called Fairy Tale Billionaires, I didn’t find anything too fairy tale-ish about the first book (other than the female MC being a legitimate Princess). So I wasn’t sure what would be in store for Griffin’s story. Low and behold... there were some very distinct subliminal similarities to my favorite Disney Princess... Belle!!! One I started seeing the similarities popping up, I could stop finding them, which made me love the story all the more! This really was a modernist real life retelling of Beauty & The Beast. 😍 Don’t worry though... it was not rated G like the original story was! The author did an amazing job at balancing the wildly interesting steamy scenes with the actual story plot. Both Bellamy & Griffin are complex characters that are slightly flawed yet perfect for each other!

I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series coming out next month!!

A generous 2.5 stars.
Griffin is your standard grumpy-hot-playboy-billionaire-corporate mogul. His assistant Bellamy is gorgeous, smart, capable and the only one who can put up with Griffin's poor attitude. Griffin has been smart enough to keep his hands to himself despite his instant attraction to his assistant (he needs to avoid workplace sexual harassment lawsuits after all!) and Bellamy has been nursing a crush on her sour puss boss since she took the job a year ago, though judging by his attitude, I don't know why.

Bellamy gets accepted into Law school on the West Coast and so gives Griffin notice that she'll be resigning at the end of Summer and moving back home, nearer to her elderly father. Knowing she's leaving, she decides to see if Griffin is interested in a hook-up, no strings attached. Of course he is...

After their night at a hotel, they both realise how great they could be together and commit to a relationship until Bellamy moves away for school.

Griffin has commitment issues thanks to his Mother's abandonment (see The Billionaire's Princess- his brother had the same in book 1 of the series). He knows he's got a great thing going with Bellamy but doesn't think he's good enough for her etc, etc, etc. So he basically sabotages their relationship instead of talking about it with her, which is so annoying.

I didn't really like Griffin's character. Especially when they were having a fight and Bellamy wanted to talk it out but he started trying to change her mind with sex. He was very pushy and I didn't like that scene at all.

Lots of descriptive love scenes, not that much story.

I won't bother reading book 3.

Griffin Black is more commonly known as the beast for his ruthless and cutthroat business style, after all he did not get to the top of the New York real estate market by playing nice with everyone. But it looks like the Beast has finally met his match to bad it has come in the form of his P.A. the one person he has deemed off limits. But all bets are off when Bellamy makes him a proposition of one night together nothing more. How will the beast react to this?

••

Bellamy has put up with Griffins gruff ways and steamy looks for a good while now, but with a new opportunity on the horizon, she puts in her resignation. With this comes the chance to finally find out if the man truly is all that the talk says he is, which prompts her proposition. But the question is will Griffins past baggage and trust issues come in the way of them finding their happily ever after?

••

Ava Ryan is hands done the queen of fairytale inspired novels. This novel is packed with steamy moments and witty banter all mixed in with a good amount of emotional baggage. I loved getting to know Griffin better and seeing how his childhood has molded him into the determined man that he has become. But the true star of this book is Bellamy, she was not your typical damsel in distress. She stood toe to toe with this big grouch and did not back down, nor did she need a man to validate her. I loved this about Bellamy.

••

The Fairy Tale Billionaire series is shaping out to be one of my favorites by Ryan I can not wait for the next book in this series.

The Billionaire's Beauty by Ava Ryan is the second book in her Fairy Tale Billionaires series and I adored it! I am a sucker for a fairy tale inspired story or retelling, which meant that this was completely up my alley!
Ava, you are a genius, and my emotions are all over the shop in the best possible way. I adored Griffin from his first grumpy growl, and just fell head over heels as he prowled through the pages and glowered and just had me all mushy on the inside in the best possible way!
And Bellamy? I loved her, and wanted her to have everything, and also get to be her friend and cheer her on and feisty and charming and fierce and I lived for every single combustible interaction between her and her boss.
The antagonism, the snarkiness, the SIZZLING CHEMISTRY, all build this up to be an epic story I absolutely needed to devour with regularly scheduled drinking breaks of ice cold water because holy moly, it is intense in the best possible way!
Did I mention THE FEELS? Because there are many! And you need to experience them with me, pronto. If you're looking for a book with a great grovel, a woman who knows what she deserves and a guy that has the ice around his heart break open when he knows there's something good right in front of him, though it's quite the bumpy ride at times, it's an excellent one so look no further than The Billionaire's Beauty!
P. S. Please tell me we get Ella and Ryker next?! Because that is a story I am definitely looking forward to!

This was a brilliant book that was so outside of the norm, that I was well n truly sucked into it from the get-go. I had gooey eyes after I finished it. The writing was next level genius. The characterization, the plot points, the dialogues n storyline seamed so effectively that u just can't help but fall in luv with everything.
Griffin Black was an impenetrable alpha beast of a man who had so much more to offer from the inside with his vulnerability n cracks around his heart. N I luvd how Bellamy brought about that sweeping change to his personality bit by bit which was the best part. Their back n forth banter was too steamy n the sex scenes were hot.
Bellamy was a standout female character who had lot more layers to her than at first glimpse. I luv how she kept Griffin in line when he crossed it n went toe to toe with him at crucial junctures. She was patient, tolerant, wise beyond her years n headstrong.
I know generally, we expect a lot of groveling n apologies with the word Sorry when any of the leads screw up! But in this case, contrasting to Griffin Black's personality, the way he went about to ask for forgiveness was true to his character trait n it was endearing because its not so much as the common gestures or words that r required everytime.
This book is a runaway hit n I loved it too much! Also, billionaire boss romances r my kryptonite! Woot woot! This is highly recommended n toodles! 💃🆒📚💖❤💜💛💚💙💥🔥👏👌

I finished his book in one day! I have mixed feelings about it though so my review reflects that. I really enjoyed parts and I really disliked parts. This is Griffin and Bellamy’s story.

Griffin is the brooding billionaire executive who dislikes everyone and is tough to be around. He has abandonment issues so he never gets close to anyone, especially women. He gets what he needs and moves on…

Bellamy is Griffin’s executive assistant and has put up with his crap for about a year. She handles him well, but she has been accepted to law school across the country and is taking this opportunity to be back near her father and fulfill her dream of going to the school her mother went to.

These two have been hiding their feelings for each other since day one. Griffin because of obvious HR reasons and Bellamy because he is such a jerk. Once the walls come down you really get to enjoy the sensitive side of him, but it does not last long, which is where my issues lie. He is amazing and if he would just stop the facade of abruptness for two seconds you could really enjoy him. Bellamy comes off as a strong woman, but she takes his bad behavior over and over again. There were some very tender, romantic moments in this story. His denial of his true feelings really gets in the way of the story for me. He is too on again off again and that was frustrating. Overall I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Billionaire's Beauty is a full length contemporary romance, Second book of Fairytale Billionaires Series by Ava Ryan. Told in dual POV

This book starts with a bang ! Bellamy secretly has a crush to her boss for long time. So at night of her 24th Birthday Bellamy shamelessly lay her feelings to him and even invited him to her hotel room which he's willingly took the offer. With sparks flies everywhere and hidden desires finally went out things between them leads to more. But as their company protocol forbidden the relationship between the Boss and their employees things will became complicated. But thats not all, this story has more to offer. It's a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast in its finest.

So much more for swooning !! I really enjoyed it. With its right amount of emotional drama, angst and an intense steamy scenes this book was no denying would be one of my top read this year. Truly unputdownable. Ava Ryan creates a wonderful character that may not take long to fall inlove with. I love a strong heroine and Bellamy's fierce and boldness really got me. Beautifully written with a storyline that was easy to follow through.. Ava Ryan did a great job !! This book was so good. And I'll recommend it for everyone.

I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
This is the second standalone book in the Fairy Tale Billionaires Series.
This book follows Griffin Black and Bellamy Forrest. Bellamy is Griffin’s Executive Assistant. Griffin is known as The Beast in the office for his ruthless ways and this also spills over in to his personal life. Bellamy was super strong and sassy. It was so good to see a heroine in a book who did not fall at the bosses feet with all his demands on her. She stood up for herself and called him out on his BS. He suffers with a huge amount of emotional baggage and low self esteem after his Mother had walked out on him and his brothers when they were young children. When Bellamy rings him with a proposal one night, will he be able to resist his sexy assistant? Will they find love together when he doesn’t believe in it and what happens when she resigns from her job and moves across the country? All these questions pose for a great book with lots of banter, some steamy sex scenes and lot of emotional turmoil. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the third book in the series with Ryker’s story.

4.5 Stars for The Billionaire’s Beauty
Ava Ryan is a fairly new author to me but with every book of hers I pick up I realise I need more from this very talented author. Her characters draw me in and are easy to relate to and her stories captivated from the first page to the last line, so what more can you ask for in a great read. This the second Stand-alone book in the fairy tale series and these books just keep getting better. This is Griffin Black and Bellamy Forrest’s tale and it’s a take on beauty and the beast....
Griffin is known as the beast in the office, he is ruthless in business and his personal life but the strong and sassy Bellamy knows how to chip away at the walls he surrounds himself with but will he allow her in, Will this beauty tame the beast.....guess you need to read the book to find that out.
This book ticked my boxes, the banter is witty, the characters have chemistry and their story will keep you on the edge of your seat. Looking forward to book 3 in this entertaining series.

I have to say that I'm really loving this series by Ava Ryan. I know I'm only 2 books in now, but her talent is so great that it didn't take much at all for me to add her to my list of go to authors. The Billionaire's Beauty is the modern day twist on Beauty and the Beast, and what a twist it was. Griffin (the Beast) is a broody cranky man who has some baggage. He's also a player as he doesn't let anyone close to him, until Bellemy came into his life. She's a brilliant girl working for Griffin as his assistant, and it's really the best thing that ever happened to him. She's one of the very few who can handle him, so she goes toe to toe with him often. They have chemistry, and she's had a secret crush on him which ends up in her doing something very bold. Now, Griffin is starting to see her in a new light but again, that baggage is heavy which results in him pushing people away. Is Bellemy up to the challenge?! Hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

⭐⭐⭐⭐💫
This is the 2nd book in the 3 part Fairytale Billionaire's series.

This book tells the story of Griffin and Bellamy. Griffin and his brothers are real estate moguls in NYC, and Bellamy has been Griffins assistant for a year, saving money so she can attend law school.

She has had an attraction to Griffin since she began working for him and he the same. But he looked at it as not to mix business with pleasure.

He has earned his reputation as a demanding and difficult boss and is used to getting what he wants when he wants it.

Feisty and Firey Bellamy is the exception, she does not want to take his demanding attitude anymore, and chances having the night they both have wanted when she finds out she's been accepted to law school, she figures, what has she got to lose? She's leaving anyways!!

Griffin still bears many scars from his past that stand in their way, but Bellamy is just the one to show him that the past doesn't dictate our future.

I enjoyed the book very much and can't wait for Rykers turn at love ( the 3rd brother) in the next book, The Billionaire's Cinderella.

I would like to thank the author Ava Ryan and Greys Promotion for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I did not like this.

Honestly, I don't know how to put it into words why I don't like this book. The typos, the writing, the characters, all of it just did not sit well with me. Griffin has a bunch of issues and is honestly quite dumb for a good portion of the book, lacking any true self-awareness. For someone who is supposed to be so successful and intelligent, he sure does let his past affect him far more than is reasonable when combined with his other characteristics.

Bellamy, meanwhile, was willing to go past all of her dreams for this man, which I did not understand, since he didn't seem like a good man to begin with. His mannerisms are disguised as defense mechanisms, and the reasoning is there, but also, I think he's just an asshole. Alongside that, we get the lamest happy ending ever. There isn't even a discussion for anything relating to what their future will look like, and Griffin didn't have to grovel at all for the way he treated Bellamy. She just came right on back.

1 star. I hate this story.

Bellamy is Griffins (aka the beasts) assistant. She has been crushing on him since the first moment she started working for him. Griffin is a complete womaniser nonetheless there is something about Bellamy that grabbed his attention. When Bellamy suggests one night together Griffin is shocked but who could resist that offer. Bellamy, on the other hand, is shocked when Griffin suggests they get to know each other on a personal level.

I loved Griffin's softer side, also Bellamy determined side. The comparison and similarities between these two characters were amazing. I loved their chemistry and banter.

This book is a quick and easy read.

This is the second book in the Fairy Tale Billionaires series. Bellamy Forest has worked for Griffin Black for the past year while she has saved to go to college. She is everything an assistant should be. Efficient. A step ahead. Organized. And knowing Griffin's needs before he does.
Griffin Black is a man not afraid to go after what he wants. Although he has had plenty of women, he desires the one that could leave them broke and in legal trouble. Yet Bellamy couldn't be like all those other women. Would she?
Can Bellamy tame Griffin? Can Griffin convince Bellamy to stay? Ryan keeps the pedal floored as Griffin learns not everything can always go his way.
I received this book as an advance review copy free. I have read and reviewed this book voluntarily.

This is the first time I am reading Ava Ryan and had no idea what to expect. Being a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast fairy tale I was excited to check out this book . Bellamy is Griffins aka beast assistant and she controls everything for him at work. She has a huge crush on her boss. Griffin has tough exterior at work and has mommy issues. This was a fantastic read . I enjoyed how Bellamy challenges Griffin and makes him work for her love . She is sweet , caring and sweet . Griffin seems hard and grumpy but he has trust issues and insecurities. The story was sweet and fast paced and I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the first book in this series and cant wait to read it before we get Rykers story .

book two was just as smashing!

I really enjoyed Griffin and Bellamy’s book as much as Damon and Carly’s! There was some similarities I guess since these guys are brothers and all they share the same trauma and I guess you can say PTSD from their upbringing…..But that doesn’t stop these determined women from worming their way into these men’s lives and carving out their HEA’s!! Bellamy was a go-getter! I really liked her from the start of this book! Chemistry was smokin hot and the world building was excellent! I wish we could have gotten around to having the dad more in the picture but alas that wasn’t meant to be. Also Ava really has a thing for fresh oysters 🤣😂. This bear gave this book 5 radiant stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love this book. It's that simple.
This book resonated with me on so many different levels.

Too many of the heroines in romance novels need the knight in shining armor to sweep them off their feet, and I love that Bellamy is willing to come off as anything other than nice in order to make sure she is being treated the way she deserves.

We need more heroines like this, who don't take shit from anyone, even the guy they love, don't back down from a fight, have the strength not to give up and the emotional wherewithal to understand when someone tries to push them away out of fear.

5 stars and a manicotti.

Beauty and The Beast is one of my all time favourite Disney films and I LOVED the cute play on the characters Bellamy - beauty and Griffin - The Beast, who Bellamy affectionately nicknames the beast.

I hadn’t read anything else in the series but it didn’t matter, it was easy to fall in love with Belle and the way she challenged Griffin at every turn. She stood up for herself and didn’t accept anything less than the way she knew she deserved to be treated. Despite his gruff demeanour it was easy to see Griffin’s affection underneath. He met a perfect match in Bellamy and their witty banter kept this book moving quickly.

After reading The Billionaire’s Princess, I totally wanted to see what Ava could bring with her Fairy Tale Billionaire series. Because who doesn’t like an alpha male ordering people around and eventually brought to his knees by a woman?

And that’s exactly what happens to Griffin. The second Black brother to fascinate me – and that says a lot since I really thought no one could top Damon. Griffin is ruthless, commanding and emotionless. The classical cold-blooded real estate mogul who wants success. And stops at nothing to get it.
