The authors show you how to cut and sew fabric triangles together from to form hexagons. By using panels, the smaller coordinating panels, and coordinating fabric, it is possible to create quilts with the background and foreground areas melding into the panel, creating beautiful effects. They demonstrate how you can change the look of your quilt by repositioning the hexagons and audition your quilt before sewing the blocks together. Many finished examples of this technique, by various quilters, are shown throughout the book, including quilts that were the first attempt of this technique by the quilter. This is an inspiring book, to any quilter, to try this new technique.
This book is a follow-up to a previous book written by the authors, One-Block Wonders.

This is basically kaleidoscope quilts using panels. I feel that while the endeavor is interesting there are no clear instructions. There is no instructions on any of the how to's. I also think this book is for a particular group of quilter.

I've been enjoying reading about this "One Block Wonder" style of quilting for years now. I found applying this style to panels really fascinating.

Beautiful photos, engaging discussion on design, however more instruction would be beneficial. I know you want to sell your earlier books, but, seriously, there isn’t much how-to in this book.
