This is a great five book set of fun and entertaining stories. The author brings strong characters with different age groups of stand alone stories. Her scenes are brought to life with her detailed and descriptive writing along with fun dialogues. You'll have hours of reading pleasure with this set. I enjoyed and would recommend reading.

This is wonderful box set, each book can be read as a stand alone, but you will want to read the entire set. Uplifting and enjoyable.

Hopes Bakery
Hope Nolan is a single Mom who is a talented baker with amazing cake and cookie decorating skills which keep her busy in her bakery in the small town of Magnolia Harbor. When chef Michael comes to town and opens a restaurant across the street from Hope's Bakery Hope fears her business will suffer. What she doesn't expect is that romance in on the horizon. this is a delightful read with a HEA ending.

When Hearts; Collide
Angelica's husband died 6 years ago and she is trying to get on with her life. She in involved in a church group and also is enjoying spending time with her adult children and her Granddaughter, but she longs for something more. When Dylan arrives to teach the bible study that Angelica is a member of he hit Angelica's car in the parking lot. He does everything he can to rectify the situation including lending Angelica his car until her car is repaired. As Dylan and Angelica begin to spend more time together they become more and more attracted to each other. Just when things seem to be going good for Dylan and Angelica a woman Dylan has been having a long-distance relationship with arrives in town. Now Dylan must make a choice. Will it be Angelica or the other woman? This is a fast read with a happy ending.

The Vacation Cottage
When Margot and Paul swap vacation houses for a month neither of them expect a long distance relationship to develop. This is an enjoyable read, perfect for a lazy summer afternoon read with characters that will put a smile on your face.

This is a great series of Christian romances set in a small town – Magnolia Harbor. I want to visit and maybe even move there! I highly recommend al these books.
In Hope's Bakery, Sophie Mays has done an excellent job bringing the characters to life. The story demonstrates that sometimes change is a good thing. I highly recommend this book.
When Hearts Collide has great main characters in their 50s. This story has faith, love, and second chances. I could not put it down and did not want it to end.
In From New York, With Love Emily and Josh have a wonderful life in New York. Will they be as compatible when they are in Smalltown, USA for the holidays?
Unexpected Events is a quick read. It is a best friends to lovers romance with interesting characters. Cord had to really work to regain Mia's trust. This book is just the right length for when you want a quick break in your busy day.
In The Vacation Cottages Margot rents Paul's house in Florida. When Ryan's plans fall through her rents Margot's home in Magnolia Harbor. They start chatting when he calls her because he cannot find the pantry. This is a clean, sweet, laid back beach read with great characters.
I own all five books, so I did not buy the box set.

Sweet Small-Town Romance

These novellas are small-town, low-angst beachy reads that are just perfect for summer and troubled times. I liked how the author not only explored some familiar tropes like the second chance at romance, but also featured heroes and heroines at different stages of life, including middle-aged characters. I don't think those of us north of a certain age see ourselves represented in sweet romances like these often enough. Not much tension exists in any of these stories, but that was fine because sometimes you just want to read stories about decent people trying to adjust to the ups and downs that life throws at them, without unrealistic complications. This series delivers that. Magnolia Harbor is such a charming place peopled with great characters, both the main characters we got to learn more about as well as the secondary characters who made it seem real and a place you'd like to visit. If you enjoy small-town, low-tension romances, this series will fill the bill.

For those of us that hate surprises stories like those included in the is boxed set are perfect. The author starts off by telling us she wrote them for us as her life took the front seat. And as you read you feel an instant personal connection to Hope's bakery and the heart and soul that goes into the shop from before the sun rises till it sets. But things can get crazy when everyone comes to you for everything even if it isn't bakery related. I love the passage: "She smiles to herself. No, things were going pretty well for them. She just needed to find an even more sustainable balance to everything." Isn't that all of us that juggle work and home? Witty, lovable, realistic characters. Another reminiscent of Debbie Maccomber and Hallmark movies.

This boxset includes 5 wonderfully written, clean and entertaining stories which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. This is my first time reading books by this author and so far I have loved them! She does an excellent job of creating the scenes and painting such a vivid picture that you can imagine yourself right there in the story. The characters are all so wonderfully defined that you can't help but fall in love with them. They all face their own struggles and challenges which Ms. Mays portrays very well through her writing. These are 5 books you definitely don't want to miss. I highly recommend you add this boxset to your summer reading list!

This is a great collection of 5 short reads, I really enjoyed reading them as they had characters you really enjoyed getting to know and seeing them find their special someone, you got to laugh and worry along with them and enjoy them learning how much they love the one they are with. I did find When Hearts Collide was a bit too full on about prayer/finding faith compared to the others and I felt the story and its flow didn't quiet match up to the others in the box set.

An escape from the chaos of life!!!

I loved this series. It allowed me to escape the chaos of life. When you can read a story and feel like you know the characters as friends and family, it offers an indescribable comfort. My only comment would be that I would have really enjoyed more interactions between the stories and their characters. For example, all the characters could have been at the engagement party. And the food could have been catered by Michael and a beautiful engagement cake from Hope. Again, thanks for the escape. 💕💕

The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

The first story was wonderful

I really enjoyed the first four books but books two and four had mistakes so I didn't even read the last book. In book 2 Hope said she had gone to the old restaurant with her father, later in the story her father had died before she was born. In book 4 Josh's family name is sometimes Morris and sometimes Miller. Sorry, but it just felt like the author couldn't keep the story straight.

I ready the first page and thought it was going to be a cute story. Instead, I found myself reading every single line over again, sometimes more than twice. It's riddle with a ton of mistakes. After reading through 2 and a half chapters, I had to quit. I'm thankful I didn't spend any money on this other than my KU service fee. The publisher is her own publishing company and it a guise for getting people to read it. I wouldn't waste my time.

Sweet Christian Romance

Each of the 5 books in this collection features couples who find the path to their HEA by overcoming obstacles unique to their circumstances. Guided by their faith, they learn to trust, forgive, find joy and eventually, love. One bit of caution: if grammatical errors or editing mishaps annoy you, there are a number, particularly in the last book. I usually ignore them, but find they disrupt the flow of the flow of the story when too numerous..

The characters could have been more developed.

These books were cute, but you could have consolidated the stories in to a single book. All of these characters could have interacted. I'm not a writer, but as a reader I was distracted by the grammatical errors and.wrong names used in some places. I always love really well developed characters.
