Wow!!! A lot happening in this installment! I was surprised by the direction things were going and the end was not what I was expecting heading into this one. The new Monster Girl was fun to meet and I am looking forward to seeing her powers in the next book, considering the person and creature she was made from.

Great addition to the series but there are things you could have done better
I want to start by saying that it's a great addition to the story but I have a few things that could have been better. First off there are several misspellings of the new monster girl s name. Second the interactions between Lucien and the MC did felt fake after a point, there comes a point where pacifism should be abandoned. Then there is the fact that the MC is supposed to be smart, but nobody with any sense leaves someone with a sword, then turn his back on the swordbearer without disarming him... Honestly I was tempted to drop the book because of how stupid that was.

Best one yet!
Amazing! Absolutely stunning.
Love the unpredictable twists and turns in this novel and the the characters and creatures only add to the wonder and excitement.
After the last cliffhanger this was a breath of life with a ln unexpected, but happy turn for the intriguing and your ending has me excited for the next book immediately!
I really want more of this absolutely stunning series!

Best in the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. A strange twist of fate changes everything for Charles and the girls, including bringing forth a monster-girl. However, they continue toward their ultimate goal along side an unexpected acquaintance. The story and characters were intriguing and engaging. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.

Thank science or magic!
This story is rapidly growing into something truly epic, each new addition builds on such a way you are left at the edge of your seat and craving more. This dystopian world is fascinating and full of such incredible lore!

As always, Eric Vall has delivered an awesome story. As this series continues and fleshes out, I find that I just can't help but to want more and can't wait for the next book.

Good book
Good world by the author this book left me wondering if Charles is in fact wizard who is beginning to discover his powers and I believe will you use misinformation to instigate dissection amongst the aristocracy. I cannot wait for the next book

Very Good.
To me this was a very good book, my only complaint is that Charles makes love to his women so seldom. Imean come on, he has four beautiful eager willing. women at his beck and call, and he takes them so seldom. Dosen't sound like Male actions to me.
