"Skye's writing takes darkness and gives it spice and romance." ~ Pepper Winters, NYT Bestselling Author

Named a Rising Star in Romance by iBooks in 2015, bestselling author Skye Callahan uses fiction to explore the darker aspects of human nature. Skye's first dark romance Irrevocable was named a Top Read of 2014 by Shayna Renee's Spicy Reads, and continues to be a fan favorite.

Skye's love of reading and writing started at a young age when she was inspired by fellow Ohio native, R.L. Stine, to release her imagination by putting her own pen to paper. Prior to pursuing writing full-time, Skye received a B.A. and M.A. in History and participated in numerous local history projects including a full-length Civil War documentary for Western Reserve PBS.

Lena is afraid of moving forward. She can't get over from her past, her childhood. She prefers to be cooped up in her house until she meets Eric. He turns her world upside down in the best possible way.

This is a wonderful romance novel with many steamy scenes as well as a lot of drama which will make the readers a little anxious and really emotional at the same time. It is a perfect series for Romance Readers.

Personal take:
I really love the way the couple grew and accepted each other even with their past and shortcomings. They complemented each other perfectly.

Wonderful romance. The final book in the Trust duet. I loved Entrust and couldn't wait for the conclusion. Eric is a dom at a BDSM club who meets and becomes fascinated with Lena. He introduces her to the lifestyle and she discovers an unknown affinity for being dominated, but is somewhat ashamed. She is the product of a horrific childhood at the hands of an habitually addicted mother. She is afraid to reveal her secrets for fear of losing Eric. I found myself deeply involved with the characters and their story. Even the peripheral characters are well developed. I really consider this duet to be a must read!!!

Anguish and survival

This is the story of working through a messy, heart-rending past to a hard won successful relationship. I loved the characters and the effort expended for each other. At times it was sad but there was always a sense of positive movement toward a goal. I loved this book. Already wish there was another. Cade needs a story. Everybody going through a hard time needs an Ollie.

I had more important things to worry about than a woman I’d met in a bar a couple of weeks ago, but those brief encounters with her had also preserved my sanity. She’d given me a night of the control I craved in the midst of chaos.

Something about earning her trust and watching her experience my world for the first time, overcoming her fears and inhibitions, lit a fire inside of me.
That fire was gnawing away at me every day that passed without hearing so much as a single word from her.

Excellent read frie the first few lines!

Both Club Obsidian Books are great reads .. the very sensitive world of self-hurt candy lead down a dark path, but Skye leads us through the dark side of that world into the light with great characters who show us how to survive that world! I love how she draws in the BDSM world in a positive light!
