This was my first edition of Jacobin and as a large quarterly periodical I have to say that I'm pleased. It's one of the better ones that I've read if this was an accurate representation of it's typical style and content.

I'd encourage a subscription for anyone slanting towards Socialism, Democratic Socialism, Eco-Socialism, or any of the other flavors out there. But I'd also encourage this for people interested in economics of other types as well. Now, if you're a die hard capitalist supporter you might pop a blood vessel the farther you read into this, but should you approach it with an open mind, I hope you find out that you enjoy the trip and learn something as well.

Sunkara is a great editor and sometimes writer, and I hope he keeps up in this role for many years to come.
