“What is life and love without a liberal dash of humor? I want to laugh, cry and fall in love with the characters in every novel I read and write.”
I liked this book; very much. Being of the same age I have felt bits and pieces of each of the Fearless women in this book, in my life, at some point. It was nice reading about happy endings through such relatable circumstances that, well, don't always end with such happiness. I also believe such good friends would be a joy to have. And this is a complement to Christie Walker Bos' writing. It, her book, made me want to live the story it contained. The women in this book made me feel good. And I want to feel good these crazy ass days. So I gave this book 5 stars.
I loved this book. It was timely for where I am in life so it really resonated with me and all the things I want to do and experience. You could say it was a motivational book for me. Upon finishing the last page I was so sad it was over. I hope Christie writes about their next 20 years! If you have close friends, a sister, or keep in touch with people over a long period of time, you will appreciate this story. Expect it to cause you to make plans to really LIVE your LIFE - it's THAT good and inspirational!
The author weaves an interesting tale of four good friends on a journey through the ups and downs of life for women in their fifties. Nicely paced, good character development and relatable experiences that made for an enjoyable read.
