Ever since my hands were shattered, I’ve felt like a ghost of the man I once was. Lucien may have broken my bones, but in all reality he damaged much more than my body. He crushed my spirit.
I was lucky enough to have Sakura and Cheyenne by my side when I went through my reconstruction surgeries, but now Cheyenne has left to go up to Montana and Sakura is focused on trying to have a baby with Mouser. Over that time I was able to forge friendships with both of these ladies.
Now that my hands are as good as they’re going to get, I suppose it’s time I get back in action. Damon told me he wanted me to help this chick out with a project she’s working on. She’s one of Rebel’s friends, even works with her at Crave, LLC. Damon doesn’t tell me anything about this project, but imagine my surprise when I found out she’s writing a romance novel about a biker club and Damon told her she could shadow me for three months to conduct her research.
I’d probably hate it if she wasn’t the most gorgeous Romanian woman I’ve ever seen.
Crina came here for research, but she’ll be getting much more than she bargained for.
Elizabeth Knox is a USA Today Bestselling romance author who specializes in romantic suspense, and dark romance. She’s well-known for her intense page-turning motorcycle clubs, and sinister dark mafia books.
While Elizabeth loves to write, she is an avid reader as well, who reads a mixture of genres. She lives on a farm with her husband in the northeastern United States with her rescue animals. When she isn’t working, you can find her horseback riding, riding ATVs, or out on the farm with her animals.
We have gotten pieces of Chaz in previous Reapers books especially Dixon and it left me asking, when do we get his book?? Well, the wait was definitely worth it and I can’t wait for more of him!! My heart broke all over again for Chaz but I think he finally found his match.
Crina Lazar's family is part of the Romanian Clans. When she refuses to be married off by her father she finds herself working for Crave, LLC.
Charles 'Chaz' Beaumont is assigned to to help Crina with all her questions regarding MC life. They are like oil and water for over eighty percent of this book.
Crina is free with her sexuality, she's bisexual and loves the darker side of kink. She's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and I really liked that about her.
This book wasn't for me, there are too many story arcs pulling a reader different directions and no resolution to any of them. If felt like the story was going one way, then it stops takes turn, then stops and takes a different turn. leaving me wondering what the hell is going on. Most of the interaction between the supposed couple isn't pleasant for the majority of the book AND Crina sleeps with his father. I try to keep an open, broad mind reading dark romance but that felt like it was there only for shock and or ick value and had no real purpose to the story.
As I was reading I thought the book was going to finally turn a corner and actually focus on Chaz and Crina's relationship when it ends abruptly. The author gives a brief explanation for the abrupt ending but it didn't change how I felt about the book, nor the ending, it felt like an unfinished book.
Not my cuppa.

Chaz and Crina's story was another really good addition to the Reaper's MC series. Crina is clueless what an MC is really about, and her job is to write a romance book on an MC. Meeting and having to work with Chaz, who was also dealing with his own issues, they seemed to be at cross purposes for a while. A bit different of the Reapers' usual story-lines, it is just as enjoyable. There is sure to be more of Chaz and Crina's story as it is not completely finished. Looking forward to the next book in the series to see what the Reapers are up to, **I was gifted "Chaz" via Booksprout and leave my review based on my reading.** 4.25 Stars!
Chaz and Crina's story was very in depth, lots of information about the past, so the reader can follow along. I have not read any books about Chaz before and I did not find I was missing anything because Elizabeth Knox gave the background thoroughly so I could follow along. This couple is complicated and intense. They are struggling with this relationship and what it means to them. And I absolutely loved the quotes at the beginning of each chapter, they helped set the tone for what was to come. I look forward to reading more about this couple!
Loved it! Crina’s father plans to marry her off and she refuses so she leaves. Which leads her to a job writing a romance story about MC’s and to Chaz. Chaz is ordered by the club Prez to help Crina out. Chaz and Crina definitely do not get along from the very first, but their attraction is instant and intense. I loved Chas and Crina together and their chemistry was palpable. This was a wonderful book filled with twists, action, and ups and downs, and I can’t wait for the next one.

I love these stories and this one seemed to be a little more complex than others. Chaz and Crina have amazing chemistry but there are other factors that come into play with their relationship and story. At times, these other stories had me confused and didn't know where the author was going. I understood at the end but was still left wanting more.
I totally LOVED IT!!! I was hooked with the first chapter and I couldn't put it down until the very last page. I'm so ready for the next book to come out!!! Awesome book Elizabeth Knox.
They are not a couple at all during this book. They only start to get together at the end. It has too many other people and storylines going. It's not finished. It goes on about past storylines and books. It's just too much. Was trying to make it to the end of the series, but I doubt if that will happen. I can hardly keep my eyes open while reading this book.

Choosing her own destiny and finding an explosive love
Chaz is the fourteenth book in the Reapers MC series. This series must be read in order as otherwise some things will not make sense. But if you can make the commitment it is a series that is filled with all sorts of deliciousness Chaz is the story of Charles "Chaz" Beaumont and Crina Lazar. When the two of them are together they are like an atomic bomb about to go off at any moment. There is a lot of feeling between them and not all of it is the good kind. Crina is a young woman who's family is part of the Romanian Clans. Her father has picked a husband out for her but instead of going along with the arranged marriage she stands up for herself, which she is not afraid to do, and says no way. For that she is ousted and now has to start her life over again without her family. She ends up back at Crave as she has no money or place to go. Chaz is a man who has been is part of the Reapers MC and comes from a French Mafia family, from from the European country, but his family fled when his father was killed. Crina needs some inside information about club life for a book she has an opportunity to write so through people Craz is assigned the task. He is meant to answer all of her questions and soon these two are entangled in numerous ways, including with her family. Be warned that this book does have a cliffhanger which I am not really happy about. I had expected more from this book in regards to the actual Chaz and Crina relationship story. Instead there was a lot of other overarching story-lines taking place for the majority of this book. Yep I know it is part of a continuing story series but I was just hoping for more Chax is all. Well hopefully it will get tied up shortly. For me this was a good book in the series but just not what I was expecting.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Chaz and Crina's complicated relationship. by sewsummore
Chaz was a member of the Las Vegas Chapter of the reapers MC Club. He had a complicated past, and a history of broken romances. Crina was the daughter of a Romanian Mafia Leader, her past was just as complicated as Chaz. She was a headstrong and feisty, and never hesitated to to say what she thought. When her father tells her that she is to become the wife of a fellow Romanian Mafia figure, she refuses to even consider the idea, instead she walks away from the only home she has ever known. Of her two older brothers, it is only Sorin who understands how she is feeling and takes her to stay with him while she decides where her future lies. She takes a position as a writer in a publishing company and is instructed to write a dark romance novel about a MC club. She is given an introduction to the Reapers MC Club who agree to provide the background information she needs to make the book realistic. Chaz is assigned the role of educating Crina in the workings of the club. Sparks fly when they meet and neither one is happy with the situation. They may have been forced to work together but did not have to like it. This book captured my attention from very early in the story. The relationship between Chaz and Crina was complicated in the beginning due to forces beyond their control. When they both realize that, they begin to calm down and work together. Neither of them expect desire to flare between them, but when it does they do not hold back. I found myself captivated with the story and was upset to discover the book ends suddenly at this point to be continued in a further book at a later date.

Trigger warnings are written for a particular reason. Please make sure to pay attention. The author includes a Playlist should you like listening to music as you read. A list of characters is also included. This is great for those readers that may be behind on the series. It can serve as a list of stories that you may want to read before starting this one.
Crina stands up for herself and now she has to start over. She’s chosen an interesting way of doing that. Chaz seems to be a peacemaker but then he seems to change. Then my confusion of this story begins.
It seemed as if this our main characters have two separate stories. I couldn’t look away because I couldn’t understand what the author was trying to accomplish. We understand that the people in our lives have things and people that came before. I was patiently waiting for the moment when some type of relations should would meld them together. At one point, it seemed to happen but then I turned around and we are back with two separate stories. For me, that became a problem because I liked having our main characters apart rather than as a couple.
I was waiting for that sense of connection but never felt it. Something just seemed to be missing. Men from the Reapers appeared and I enjoyed watching them interact during church. When the ending came it didn’t help me or get me to change my mind. However, the author includes a note at that the end that gives me hope. So I patiently wait to see what the next book in the series will bring.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Ok, I'm going to be honest and say that while I have absolutely loved all of the Reapers MC stories, these last two definitely weren't my favorite. It's not that they were bad stories, quite the opposite actually, but just as it finally started getting to a good point in the stories, they abruptly ended. I'm not the type of person who enjoys the drawn out stories throughout several books, especially when it comes to cliffhangers. (I actually have refused to read books because they ended with a cliffhanger and the next book wouldn't be released for months afterwards-which is one of the reasons why I despise them) I don't mind when there's a secondary plot that happens over several books, but only when the main plot is wrapped up by the end of that book (which is one of the things that I loved about this series), like this series has been prior to the last two books. Although I liked this story, I feel like there was a lot of fillers involved instead of being straightforward with the plot, and completing Chaz's story in this book. I know that the author left a note at the end explaining about how this story would be incorporated into the next book, but I'm just not sure how well it's going to work. I'm glad that I decided to wait for the next book to come out before I read this one so I don't have to wait for it. I honestly wish that the stories would go back to how they were being written, but that's just my opinion. I would recommend this book, series, and author.
I. LOVED. EVERY. SECOND!!!! OK, so let's be real. You will read other reviews going on and on about the end. The end isn't important right now (LOLOL). We are promised that we will get what we want, so just be patient. What really matters is the juice we got in this story!!!!!!
I really loved that Chaz and Crina were HOTTTTTTTT. They weren't hot in the way we usually see it (and if I know Liz, we will 100% get that spice later), but the slow burn on this one had me fanning myself!!! There were a lot of layers to Chaz and Crina throughout this story and many of those layers didn't involve each other. Crina and Chaz both have quite the past, and it definitely is catching up to them both. This is part of why I'm totally not mad that this story ended the way it did. We did get a cliffy, but we got a heck of a book to get us there!
Chaz is NOT the person I expected him to be in ANY way, and Crina is trying to leave a craptastic family. These two things alone were HUGE! We got so much dirt on both of these things and Liz did amazing things in making their lives intertwine. AND we got some characters from other series, it's the best! Liz lead us into the next few books in the best way too! I CANNOT wait to see what happens with Sakura and Cheyenne. Especially Cheyenne, but I think we might get a weee bit more drama with Sakura. Either way, we are in for one heck of a treat!
WOW This story was Amazing…. I have been waiting for Chaz’s story for awhile now. His inner longing for his bestie Chey comes to a head when he finds out she’s is Bi-sexual and has been lying to him to keep them in the “friendzone”. Her lie by omission hits him hard. He comes surly with everyone - and struggles to co-exist with Chey. His prez, Damon, steps in and sends him off to help a debut author write a series about bikers. That is when he meets Crina. Crin’s family belongs to the Romanian Mafia. But she has run from her family and that lifestyle. She wants nothing to do with her domineering father and older brother or their manipulative plans for her. Crina and Chaz relationship is not all peaches and cream. But as “things” (sorry don’t do spoilers) start to happen, feelings get involved. But what happens when Crina learns Chaz’s true background with the French Mafia and that her familia is putting them in danger? What happens when Chaz learns Crina’s is a part of the Romanian Familia and her brother is out to destroy what’s left of his family.
The action gets intense and thrilling page after page. There are lots of twists and turns and times I kept saying “OMG” as I read along. The book left me with a few questions and leads into future books within the Reaper Series and this reader for one can’t wait to see what happens next.
2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a great read in a Must Read series.
Loved Chaz and Crina. I can’t wait for Frost. I am so glad that Elizabeth Knox, author, chose to build the relationship up for Chaz and Crina’s story and will continue it and answer all of our questions in Frost. Crina comes from a Romanian Mafia family and Chaz is part of the Reapers MC Las Vegas Chapter whose family was part of the French Mafia. Loved all of the twist and turns and build up for the next book. I love books/stories that are interconnected and has characters come back from other books and series tying it all together. Elizabeth does this flawlessly with her books. I highly recommend this book. Chaz and Crina are easy to relate to and fall in love with which makes their story all the more invested in it. Warning big cliffhanger but author has a note in the back explaining. Won’t ruin anything for you but you will not want to miss this book. Yes, this book is a part of a series and you need to read the series to get the best out of any of the books in the series. Enjoy them all!

We finally get to Chaz after several years of waiting for his story. We've only glimpsed what he's had to endure from his torture, but we've basically seen him connected to his two closest "friends" Sakura and Cheyenne. Well, Chaz's story there is still "Sak," but Cheyenne has moved elsewhere. I really liked this story, but I spent most of the book wondering if Chaz was supposed to be with Crina. Fret not, our fearless author works her magic and you'll eventually see that Chaz needs her in the same way she needs him.
Be prepared because this story has characters that will have future story lines. So read this story and keep track of what's going on. It will be important!! That's all I'm going to say.
I received an ARC via Booksprout so I could leave an honest review. Since I already own the entire series, I will be adding this book to my collection when it releases! Happy Reading!!
Crina left her home after her Romanian Clan leader dad wanted her to marry a man of his choice...she had other ideas...so left. She had been staying with her brother along the strip in Vegas, and reaches out to her friend Rebel, who works for Crave LLC which is a conglomerate based on sex...gets a job, will be writing a series of M/C stories after researching a club for new publishing company which just came on board. Rebel brings her to Reapers Clubhouse where Chaz is assigned to help her...of course they are like oil and water since one of his besties, Cheyenne just left for Billings MT chapter...but he is trying to teach her the basics of what most of the clubs do, so you will need to read this story which promises more of a conclusion to their story in the next book...especially since her brother found out who Chaz really is...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I normally like these books this series and this author I didn't even care that there was a cliffhanger but I just could not like Corina, and Chaz although they have chemistry Corina has allot of history with allot of other people. Its like Corinas life is one big buffet and she had to sample everything and her sexuality didn't bother me but the fact that she goes from one person to the next no wonder she didn't want to get married she can't stick with one person or persons for very long.
So a bit about Corina shes from Romania and her family cast her out when she refused a marriage of her familys choosing. But now she and Chaz are spending time together while she gets info on the MC life shes writing a romance book. They don't get along at first but well to people with to many hormones well you get my meaning there know saints.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review. 3.4 rating
They started out as enemies, who were attracted to each other. They put up a good front, but eventually it gave way to them liking each other. Chaz and Crina’s story goes in depth into the different backgrounds of the crime families, with ties to the Clans. Chaz takes Crina to dinner and leaves her there when he gets mad at his dad and her. This leads to him getting his butt handed to him by Damon and his patch threatened. Needless to say Chaz gets his head out of his butt and starts to get along with Crina. Crina is getting into writing about motorcycle books and starts to understand what makes Chaz the man he is. They figure out that their families are in the same business and try to stay away from that subject. They start to have fun and thats where Ms. Knox leaves it with a Cliffhanger.
Crina leaves family due to her father wanting to sell her to a Romanian for his status. Now homeless she visits her ex Gia asking for a job. Her first assignment is to become an author and write five books about the MC life which she knows nothing about. She turns to her friend who is not only in the MC life but gets her permission to research the club first hand. Chaz can't believe he's been ordered by the prez to show a beautiful, sassy mouthed brat the ways of the club. Feeling the loss of Chey he shows Crina just what an ahole he can be. Chaz and Crina's story is intense and full of sexual tension. It does end in a cliffy but so worth the wait! Can't wait for Frost and Chey's story and a conclusion to Chaz and Crina's story. Thank you Booksprout and the author for a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
Another fantastic book by Elizabeth Knox. Chaz meets Crina when he's asked by his Pres Damon to help this chick out as a favor for Rebel. She's shadowing him to get background on bikers and clubs for a motorcycle romance book that she's writing for the publishing side of Crave LLC that she works for. When they meet they're like oil and water. He wants nothing to do with her and she a bitch. Once they start to understand one another the sparks start flying between them. the action also picks up with the club. So many ups and downs in this book I didn't quite understand what was going on. As you get further into the book the beginning sets up the story line for Chaz & Crina and also what happens at the end. The story stops at that point and we'll just have to wait till the next book to see what not only happens to them and others. A definite must read.
Chaz by Elizabeth Knox is an intensely deep story of Chaz and Crina. Her father has planned her marriage and she refuses….and leaves. She goes to a friend who offers her a job writing a romance story about MCs. Crina is teamed up with Chaz at the Reapers MC to give her the information she needs. But, they butt heads immediately and TOTALLY dislike one another. Over time, He is dealing with his own issues. His love has just be assigned elsewhere and he is broken about it.
Can these two find anything to bring them together? This story just ENDS. Not even a cliffhanger…just ends. Though, the author does admit this and gives a reason for it. Loved the story!!!
I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Chaz and Crina have sparks flying between them. These two are put together so that Crina can write a romance book about MC. They have a hate to love relationship that changes as the story progresses. There is a lot of drama, suspense and danger that swirls around them. We know that Chaz has such a horrible past. Crina wants to stay from an arranged marriage. Their paths in life have brought them to each other. Now it is time for them to decide if they will grasp onto the love they have needed and keep ahold of it. The book is written well and takes us into the next one. I really look forward to finding a few answers in the next Reapers MC book. I have enjoyed this entire series

Obviously this author weaves an intriguing story with so many twists and turns to please the readers. This book gives the reader the how and why Chaz meets Crina. It was good to have our Rebel back, seemingly new and improved with Zoe. Chaz and Crina both have complicated pasts and unknowingly their past interacts. Crina, being so head strong makes a huge faux paux. We don’t find out the consequences yet, but it already includes blackmail by an awful sibling. What we do get is their history and that is a big plus. This is a mostly positive review, as I enjoyed reading this series and had intended to purchase the next book because hey I am on book fourteen in the series and I like the characters. However, the abrupt ending with an apologetic afterword is off putting.
Well if Chaz isn't just full of surprises who would have thought of his family connections and boy who could go past the WAP song comment who doesn't just love the words to that song. But boy am I feeling alittle disappointed with the way things are heading because boy I feel that Chaz deserves so much more than Crina, Chaz definitely pegged her right from the first meet without giving anything away but man how could she!!! As always things are brought to light and things are definitely left on a cliffhanger in this book I think Elizabeth states there are more parts to come in Chaz and Crina's story I just hope Chaz gets his happy ever after I'm just going to need a hell of a lot of convincing to believe that it's with Crina.
I really liked Chaz a lot, not just the book but the man himself, as well. He has been through so much that he doesn't really want to put himself out there again. His friendships with Sakura and Cheyenne are wonderful though and the connections he has with them are so strong until things happen between him and Cheyenne. Crina comes into the picture and clashes with Chaz at first then things change between them. There is so much being told in this book, it definitely held my interest and left me hanging, desperately waiting for the next book. I was kind of sad about Chaz and Cheyenne but am anxious to see what happens next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Let me start off by saying that I enjoy Chaz and Crina's story but not as much as some of the others and it is definitely not what I expected. The first half or so of this book is pretty much Chaz being in love with Cheyenne but she leaves. Damon tasks Chaz with helping Crina write a romance story about M.C.'s and he spends a great deal of the book being a royal pain in the you know where to her. I don't exactly like the way he treats her and he pretty much takes Cheyenne's leaving out on Crina. But once they give in the story heats up and their chemistry is hot. Be prepared though because this book is pretty much ends in a cliffhanger...

Love! Love! Love this book! It is my new favorite! Chaz is such a sarcastic alpha biker who has suffered at the hands of others and keeps his heart locked tightly away! He keeps his cards close to his vest but when he says your his family there is nothing that he won't do for the person/s. Crina is a duty to begin with assigned by his Prez. Is that all she is? This story will take you on a ride you will not want to stop! Never a dull moment with a few twists that will have you going....no way! A definite must read! Chaz is the 14th book in the Reapers MC series. Instead this story cover to cover without stopping! Who needs sleep? I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author. I am already looking forward to the next one.
