I may look tough, but my heart lies in my bakery, and I’m old enough to know better than to get hung up on a twenty-year-old twink, but he’s just my type. Problem is, he’s scared of bigger guys. He needs guidance and protection, the kind I crave to give my subs. I’d never hurt him, and he needs to know that.

Heath is as prickly as they come, and for some reason he can’t believe that I’d want him in my bed. When I find out he’s a virgin it makes me hotter than I’ve ever been. I want to teach him everything. I want him to be mine.

He follows every instruction like he was a born submissive, and while most of me wants to watch him flourish under my instruction, I can’t help but remember how poorly relationship ended with my last sub. I know I won’t find Heath in another Dom’s bed. But am I ready to risk my heart again and trust that he’s in this just as deep as me?

This was frustrating!!!

For all Dante claims to be a Dom, he's absolutely shit at communicating. He constantly made assumptions without speaking to Heath and so many times he made Heath feel bad because he didn't think or say what he really meant. Ughhhh Dante just annoyed me!!!

While I definitely preferred Heath, he still irritated me too. He complains about being treated like a kid, yet proceeds to act like a surly teenager.... if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck....

I did like the conflict, and I saw it coming that the two clubs would combine so it'll be interesting getting to know the new characters better.

I'm looking forward to Tru's book because he was my favourite character in the Junee club and I love the fake relationship trope

I had to push through the first 40% of this. While I understood Heath’s issues with his confidence, I hated the back-and-forth merry-go-round between him and Dante. As I’ve complained about before with some books in this series, there’s just way too much “I like him but he doesn’t like me, he kissed me but it doesn’t mean anything, here’s a blowjob but we’re still just friends” bullshit and Dante, who is meant to be the Dom, just kept playing games, not communicating, and being an utterly useless Dom. Now, I don’t mind a tiny bit of miscommunication if it’s handled correctly and swiftly, but I don’t like having to read the same thing -just written different ways - chapter after chapter. At some point it just feels like filler. And I’m not saying Dante should be infallible but he should walk the walk if he talks the talk.

But, when these two got their acts together I loved them together. Hot, caring, sweet, sexy...all those good things you want for two characters to be when they finally move forward. I just wish it had happened sooner because by then the conflict was ramping up as we headed for the ending and I just wanted to read more about them being together and their dynamic as they dealt with being Dom and submissive while being members of two separate MC’s.

All in all, if you’ve come this far with this series you’ll likely be satisfied with this one, even if you know what’s going to happen pretty early on. And while this doesn’t reach my most favourite book of the series Rebel I still enjoy reading about this club.

3.5 stars! Very similar to the other books in this series but that's not necessarily a bad thing considering that I've enjoyed this series so far.

In this book we follow Dante and Heath. Dante was introduced last book but we've seen Heath in a few of the previous books. I was excited for this book based on its summary and the fact that we were getting a sort of new character. This book mostly gave me what I wanted. With this series, I want to read a good romance obviously, but I also want to see that sense on danger and excitement. We did get that here but not until a bit later in the book so the first half of the book sort of dragged for me.

I thought the charcters and their relationship was fine here. I had enjoyed Heath from previous books and Dante was a good introduction and I liked that he ran a bakery. I did think in some ways the characters were a bit flat. The couple just reminded me a little too much of the couples that have already gotten books and the relationship tension was similar to past books as well. It's clear to me that this series as a whole relies a little too much on lack of communication as a plot point. I'm not complaining too much. Obviously, I have continued to read and mostly enjoy this series and I liked this book! I just want to maybe see a little more variety in this series.

I'm hoping that we might see that variety in the next book in this series. It looks like that will be one of the few books where one of the parties is not connected to an MC in any way and we know that there is a fake dating element which I think will be an interesting change. I'm still planning on continuing this series and I'm interested to see that happens in the next book.

This series ROCKS!...I am seriously all involved with the Hell's Ankhor crew. Each book gets better and better and now we at Heath's story. We get a little insight on his background and how he became a member. He is such a sweet guy just looking for acceptance, family and love. His reaction around Dante caught me off guard really because he should be use to big bikers but I realized it was about him being uncomfortable with the attraction he has for the handsome guy and his fear of appearing weak. Dante sees the young Heath (instantly attracted) and he really wants him to be his sub but he has trust issues. There is a lot of push and pull, lack of communication and some of misunderstandings of feelings in the first half of the book where you might want to pull your hair out but eventually the guys get on the same page with their feelings...somewhat. Dante is real sweet, gentle, careful with Heath which I thought was wonderful. Heath is coming into is own being around Dante and that was great to see. Their connection really did blossom to a full blown love affair. I thought I would have more sketchy feels for their relationship being that Heath is so much younger than Dante but it really didn't bother me. Dante wasn't there to take advantage of Heath and Heath didn't look at Dante as a "Daddy" figure. These guys were partners in love and they also brought their individual crews together...that really was a special event...brought a big smile on my face. According to last chapter, it appears that the series will continue. I'm so excited!!!

I'm so pissed right now.

Ok, I get it: no book of this series will be up to Rebel. It's a pity, but I have no choice but give up hope as the last books were good but no AS good as that one. BUT THIS??

THIS. WAS. BORING.

Heath was an interesting character and even though I knew Dante wouldn't be my fav character (with all the Dom thing), I expected to like him better.

It started well, with Heath and Dante having started the bad way, there bantering was interesting and fun to read. But it went downhill pretty fast.

For startes, I feel like the authors have forgotten that this is a MC series. Yeah, they include some references to the clubs and all... but the plots don't feel like it. And it's not becuase Dante is a baker (I kind of liked the idea of the big bad bikers learning to bake, it was cute), but because without the Vipers in the picture, all the stories are pretty shallow and a little bit boring.

I hoped for this not to be a problem since it was obvious Heath had past issues, that we leant in this book were related to his family. But this plot goes literally NOWHERE since it seems the authors ust included this backstory to justify Heath being kind of "weak" and "submissive" but at the same time having some backbone. They decided to not make use of them, they are discibed as horrible beings and I was expecting the stalkering and danger to come from them... sadly it did not. And I say sadly because Aiden and Ali chose a poor and boring story for this book: three roges that come after Heath just because he seems weak and is realted for with the Hell's Ankhors and the Liberty Crews.

Most of the book is of Dante thinking how much he likes Heath, how submisive he looks but finding excuses to delay the moment their relationship changes. His Dom personality is all over the place. I must confess I'm not the biggest fan of this kind of dominance plots... but this one seemed light so I went for it with an open mind. Ironically, I had more problem with not being able to believe their Dom and Sub ways than with it being part of the story: none of them are well defined in their character. They just act dominant or submissive when the authors need it for the book, which gives a bad feeling to the reader.

I feel like they can't really keep it with the bikers series. Not the way they should, at least. They seem to be getting out of good ideas that include the club, and that's no good. And proof of it is that in this book there's nothing going on. By the 80% there's some action (and calling it that is being really kind...) and in just a coulple of chapters it's over. That's not something that happened with Rebel, but neither did it happened with Blade or Gunnar, for example; but it's becoming the norm in the series (at least Maverick and Tex were not boring.

I will try it again with Tru because maybe they prove me wrong and that's the story I was expecting when picking this... but this time I will read it much less excited...

Not having read the series, I wondered whether I would follow the story by jumping straight in to book 6.

Dante is a baker who owns his own bakery, but he's also a biker and a Dom.

After his last sub cleared off, he hasn't looked for another sub, however when he meets Heath who is in a neighbouring bikers club, he see's his next sub, apart from Heath is a virgin and scared stiff of the large muscled biker.

Will Dante ever get another sub.

Will Heath ever make a positive impression on anyone,

Even though I hadn't read the other books in the series, it didn't matter. I thoroughly enjoyed these two characters and the background ones. I really need to go back and listen to all the others in the series.

Well written and well read. My first book with David Allen Vargo and he has a good clear accent, easy to listen to.

This is a great addition to the series. Both Dante and Heath are awkward yet really attracted to each other. Dante is suppose to be the “Dom” but somehow I don’t think he fits what I’ve come to expect a guy with that title. His personality really tries to be strong but as the story progresses I felt even though Heath is shy and introverted but still has plenty of backbone and doesn’t fail to take charge at times. Dante overall appears to be the stronger personality but mainly in his wanting to be protective in charge mostly in bed. There is plenty of situations in this story that kept me page turning. The secondary characters add a lot to the story and I was happy to read about a few from previous stories. The tragedy and outcome really wrap up a lot of the issues between the two clubs. I did laugh at the part where the author had a chance to take a bad situation and make it a normal mc revenge but instead simply solved it and moved on. Now I can’t wait to read about Tru and Beau. I was given a free copy from Gay Romance Review and this is my voluntary review. I was later given the audio edition and narrated by David Allen Vargo and I have to say I really enjoy the audio editions the most. Somehow really good narration brings the story to life.

Dante and Heath's book did not disappoint!! From the very start of my journey with the Hell's Ankhor MC I have been all over the place, some stories I absolutely love, and others just fall flat. This one was a bit in the middle honestly. Yes, I said it didn't disappoint but that is because I really didn't have any expectations with this book like I have had with the previous books in this series. One of the high points in this story for me was being introduced to the Liberty Crew MC. We got to see some new faces and some old faces but what was interesting was we got to see how Hell's Ankhor interacted with a club that they didn't despise.

Heath was always just kind of in the background in all the books but in this one we really see "The Kid" coming into his own and finally accepting himself after becoming a fully patched in member of the MC. Dante was such a sweet surprise, in book five Tex we met Dante briefly and he had this immediate attraction to Heath, but we really didn't find out exactly who Dante was until this book. While he was a Dom, he was also this genuinely good guy who wanted to take care of Heath as well as the other people that he loves. Yes, there were some boring parts and parts that I felt dragged on, but I honestly liked the story so much. It was a bit of different story from the last few books with a bit of play into the Dom and Sub troupe. I've decided I am not going to give up on this series whether the series ends on book 9 or keeps going. I've fallen for the Hell's Ankhor guys and I am really hoping that we get a book about Priest finding love again after Ank but I guess we will see....

This was a nice surprise! I loved the idea of Heath with a big teddy bear and that's exactly what we got, except the teddy bear is a little bit kinky. 🤭

Heath has always come across as someone brave to me and getting to know his insecurities just made him so complex as a character, it was awesome. I enjoyed seeing how he stood his ground, faced his fears and fought for his place in the world and fought for his own value. That's what I call a Cinderella type of thing done right, I don't care if the characters are described as helpless if they fight to be the opposite and that's exactly what Heath did.

Dante as a Dom really tried to make Heath comfortable and tried to understand him, so I had no problems with him... Until the end part, he did something stupid, that stupid thing was resolved very quickly and it shouldn't have, and even the problem that surrounded the book got resolved in a simple way, I was not satisfied by it.

So I liked everything until the end, it was rushed and resolved badly. Still a very good read! 💜

For real

I want to be friends with Dante and Heath; they’re both yummy. Heath, especially is sweet as pie. Watching Dante and Heath learn to trust each other was both frustrating—communication is key—and beautiful—they need each other—but what I really liked was seeing Heath grow and find himself. I would love to be in the moment with both of them and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Tru. You’ll never be steered wrong with Hell’s Ankhor.

I’ve been eagerly looking forward to reading Dante and Heath’s story but did it meet my expectations? Hell yeah!

The pull between Dante and Heath was strong.

Dante didn’t want to be hurt again whereas, Heath’s past and inexperience holds him back. The sexual tension between these two was built up perfectly. Dante was intense and looked at Heath like he wanted to eat him up. Heath was sweet but I enjoyed the moments where he got angry and put Dante in his place - damn who knew Heath had it in him to go up against Dante. I was laughing at Dante’s shocked expression.

Dante and Heath were beautiful together and I enjoyed watching them get closer and fall harder for each other.

A few new characters make an appearance and I’m pretty sure Beau and Tru’s story is next. Can’t wait to see what the authors have in store for these two men.

*I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*

Audio review: 19/11/20

I enjoyed Dante and Heath’s story.

Dante was super intense and the way he watched Heath, like he wanted to devour him, literally gave me goosebumps.

Heath was sweet and I loved it when he put Dante in his place.

Narrator’s performance was brilliant.

I think Heath & Dante were good together& suited each other needs once they got together. Though I was looking forward to this one, it isn't my favorite of the series so far. I think my problem is that Dante sucks at communication, which is odd considering that is the key of being a Dom & VP. One would think with his past relationships he would make that the most important thing. So many miscommunication/understandings thru the whole thing. I liked how brave Heath was to be the one to overcome his doubts & past to try for what he wanted time & again. Even tho it & the one of the series I like least It still a rereadable book.

This book is about Dante (Liberty Crew Motorcycle Club member) and Heath (Hell’s Ankhor Motorcycle Club member) and their attraction to each other and a growing relationship.

From the last book Dante had eyes for one of Ankhor’s youngest member – Heath; Heath who had just been patched-in for his courage in saving one of the Ankhor’s members. Dante and his father stopped by the clubhouse and Dante had baked and brought over a cake for Heath that he thought The Kid would like. Dante had been taken aback by the way Heath had recoiled from him.

Dante owns his own bakery business in Junee, a small community, where his grandmother had worked and taught Dante to bake. Dante had bought it from the owner upon the man’s retirement and renamed it, Stella, after his grandmother. His bustling business was his pride and joy and he loved baking and owning his own business; what he didn’t like was the financial and crunching numbers part.

Though Dante’s days were busy he had to take time out for Liberty Crew business. Liberty Crew was established before Hell’s Ankhor, but Liberty Crew was a smaller club. And now they were down three members that they had to ex-communicated for the serious trouble they had caused at the Ankhor’s clubhouse and a member.

Baxter, Ryder, and Trip are a rough and dangerous group and weren’t happy about the decision made and they wanted revenge for what had happened. This was aimed at Dante, the vice-president who did not stand behind them. Liberty had paid back the money for the damage that was created at Ankhor’s clubhouse, but there was still restitution that needed to be fulfilled by one of the Liberty members for the injuries of the Ankhor member.

The two clubs came up with the deal that Dante would give the Ankhor’s members lessons in some new self-defense moves that would help the club members. On top of that, he was to give cooking classes, because no Ankhor’s member could cook. Dante could not be in the clubhouse without a chaperone, which Blade names Heath for the job.

No way did Heath want to be near Dante, he feared the man but also felt attracted to him. So now was a time for Heath to overcome his fears and be an active member. Heath slowly learns that Dante isn’t anyone to be afraid of and the attraction he felt started to flow naturally.

These two men were made for each other; both wanted and needed the same things. But not everything was roses and the two men made un-intentional mistakes that Dante was quick to confront to make sure they are on the same page. With trouble ahead with the three ex-Liberty member’s things get heated when they go after Heath to get back at Dante. They had found Dante’s big weakness Heath and his bakery.

The book’s action is great and everything that happens to Heath only brings the two men closer together, their feelings growing deeper for each other and the two are hot together. Then the three ex-members cause a situation that Dante pushes Heath away, but in the end, the two men find their HEA. I loved the whole book and so worth reading. And I am looking for the next book.

This is the 6th book is the fabulous Hell’s Ankhor series, a very accessible MC series that even those who don’t think they would like that gritty world (like me) will find the stories engrossing and the characters captivating. This book - which is a little less fabulous than the other installments - focuses on Dante - who actually isn’t even a member of HA; Dante is the VP of the Liberty Crew, a smaller MC club within the Hell’s Ankhor club’s territory. The story is somewhat ancillary to Hell’s Ankhor, which made it a bit less interesting for me. The premise is that there’s been some “friction” between the clubs and Dante is trying to mend the relationship. Dante, although big, tough and tattooed, is a baker by trade and a teddy bear at heart; he owns Stella’s bakery and often supplies the Hell’s Ankhor crew. Dante leverages this to extend an olive branch to Blade, the HA leader, and agrees to pay reparations for his club’s screw-up by teaching self-defense and, of all things, baking to the Hell’s Ankhor club members.

Heath, nicknamed the Kid because of his age (20) and overt innocence, is a newly patched-in member of Hell’s Ankhor and is tasked with chaperoning Dante when Dante is on premises at the HA clubhouse. The problem? Heath is totally intimidated by the much older Dante, and Dante doesn’t understand why. The book follows the two MCs as they move past their initial judgment of each other based on appearance alone, and slowly start to learn about each other and to trust each other, and the romance ensues from there.

This is an age gap, Dom/sub relationship with action, steam and MCs who you will really like individually, and (somewhat) together. I didn’t find them as authentic as a couple of the pairs in the prior books, maybe because some of their actions and reactions seemed inconsistent at times. Overall, though, it still is a very enjoyable read. This can be read as a stand-alone, although I recommend you read them in sequence because there will be some minor spoilers if you don’t.

"The Kid" also known as Heath has made appearances in Hells Ankor from the beginning of the series and even more so in the previous book. Here we finally get to know more about "The Kid." What really sets this book up for me was Tex's book - the fifth in this series- because Heath and Jax become very close friends and so we get more insight on who this guy is. This helps us have a better connection with this character going into this book. I wanted to know more about this sweet and shy -once prospect- who has thrown himself in front of his brothers on multiple occasions and saving the day. Finally we get to see this boy become his own man and it all begins with Dante. Dante is a member of a neighboring gang in the Hells Ankor territory; it was his members that wrecked havoc on the Hell's Ankor and so Dante needs to make amends. The President of Hell's Ankor enlists Dante to help their club with self-defense and baking classes. Blade additionally insists that whenever Dante is at the clubhouse he must have an escort and who better to do it then Heath. Heath is weary at first - due to his attraction to this large man, but also the unknown that comes with a stranger. Will Dante be able to break down Heath walls to let them in and will Heath show Dante that not all men are the same and he is deserving of love?

This is the sixth book in the Hell's Ankor series and it is best to read in order due to previous characters popping up and continuing storyline. I thought this was going to be a conclusion to the Hell's Ankor novels because there weren't any other main members discussed in the previous books; so it was a little bittersweet going into this novel. However, Aiden Bates knows what he's doing as this book introduces new characters that set a good tone for some more books in this series. The plot in this story was not as fast - paced as the previous novels and this is ultimately due to the main conflict the characters face in this novel. We are only dealing with three ex-communicated gang members. Some of the shenanigans they partook in I found to be more mundane and not as intimidating as it was made out to be. It was a lot different then the past conflict with Logan's father. However it was still interesting and it was cute to see how Dante and Heath's relationship sparked out of these classes he was teaching to Hell's Ankor. I wouldn't go so far as saying this was my favorite book in the series, but I did enjoy reading about Heath's love story. I would recommend this book!

Heath the shy member of Hells Ankhor MC has allot of emotional trauma from growing up in a very unstable abusive family. But the MC is his new family his real one there club has had some crazy ruff moments and everything is finally behind them or so he thinks but trouble is out there and he's there target. But right now his main focus is Dante the VP from the Liberty Crew in Junee makes him nervous then he just makes him want something more and having to chaperone him while his on club grounds is making his life difficult but they agree to be friends until Heath gets hurt.

Dante hes a baker and a biker hes older and should know better then to lust after a younger guy with know experience with sex and his life style as a Dom. And the way Heath acts all nervous and edgy with him drives him crazy frustraits and winds him up. But when they become friends while there clubs work out issues started by his former club members and Dante learns Heaths history it gets harder to deny himself. But everything changes when his ex members attack Heath he won't stay away anymore soon things are getting hot between them. But one thing will change there relationship will they work everything out or lose the one thing that makes them so perfect for each other.

Loved this book both men had emotional regret and pain from bad familys to bad relationships but there chemistry and love is both sweet and passionate they were great together. And I'm glad to see this series isn't over yet. The only thing that made me rate this a 4 instead of a 5 was that a chatacter was in the beginning but disappeared by the end it was a club member that Heath didn't like he was like window dressing without any substance were did he go why was he there. But thats it still loved this book.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.

A gentle giant meets his perfect partner

Heath "the Kid" is a newly patched member of Hell's Ankhor. After proving worthiness in a big way with former members of Liberty, he finally felt fulfilled. Ankhor was all the family and support needed. After losing both parents, he was left with his bullying twin brothers until he finally escaped. Remaining a virgin seemed to be a point of contention, a crossroads for him. Not feeling worthy of anything more than what people offered, (the emotional scars of his father and siblings) Heath walked around with the auto reaction of lowering his head and shrinking into himself.

Dante "Dare" is the VP of Liberty Crew-raised by his grandmother, dad, and members. Now the proud owner of Stella's (named after his late grandmother), he immerses himself into what he adores, baking. At first glance, he appears to have it all together. Intimidating by size, but a sweetie underneath it all. Aside from being a MC-VP, and a business owner, he's also a Dom. After the bitter end with his former sub, he's unsure of whether he needs to re-engage with another potential sub.
After all, things are still a little shaky between Hell's Ankhor and Liberty Crew.

Making amends with Hell's Ankhor, Dante agrees to certain reparations. Little did he nor Heath knew, their interactions were a part of that deal. What should have been a recipe for disaster turned out to be the deal of a lifetime.

Dante spent so much time thinking only Heath *needed * him. As it turns out, he needed Heath just as much, if not more. Through his partner, he felt safe leaning on him and not second guessing.
Heath found out so much about himself; as a patched in member, as a student, as a sub, and a partner. One of the biggest lessons; Heath was stronger than he gave himself credit for and Dante really could let go and lean on his partner. Nothing and no one is perfect.

There were mounting bumps in the road. Not all handled in the modest of ways, but the romance and determination between these two managed to persevere.

This started out promising, but kept falling short of my expectations in the end. All those plot points felt kind of half-assed.
I loved the idea of the big bad biker being a passionate baker and while this was a constant thing during the book, it didn't seem to really lead anywhere plotwise. Same with Heath and his business degree. Was that just meant to prove how convenient and meant to be this relationship is?
There are some allusions to a D/s dynamic, but honestly that was more in words than in actions. Vanilla sex actually doesn't mysteriously turn into something else just because you're using stoplight colors. And Dante might call himself a Dom, but he sucks at communication, at reading nonverbal cues and at taking the initiative, so that makes him a shitty one at best as far as I can tell.
And don't get me started at the nonsensical action plot that wasn't any better than that of the previous book. I don't even know why they bother to constantly have everyone and their mother on patrols when they never catch anyone they are looking for and the bad guys can sneak in whenever they please anyway.
I still mostly enjoyed the writing style, the different personalities and character dynamics. Just looking at what's there (and not at the claimed labels) Dante and Heath are really sweet when they get their act together. It's just that after the third miscommunication I was so very over this book.
Probably won't stop me from reading the next one though. I'm sort of commited now and I was promised a firefighter, so yeah, I'm easy as that.

**Audio Review**

Though Dante and Heath got off to a rough start, once they worked through their communication issues I really enjoyed this romance. I wasn't a fan of how Dante and Heath both made wild assumptions about what the other person was thinking instead of trying to talk things out, so the first couple of chapters were very frustrating to get through. Thankfully, these two resolved their misunderstandings relatively quickly, and the rest of the story showed a lot more maturity from both men. Compared to some of the other books in this series, Dante's story was light on the action, but I was actually happy to see a slower-paced, romance-centric storyline for a change. In the absence of MC chaos, it was such a joy to see Heath open up with Dante and explore all the pleasures of being with a man. The added D/s dynamic was very hot, and I appreciate that Heath's submissiveness didn't turn him into a doormat for Dante to walk all over. In fact, Heath's explorations with Dante seemed to give him more confidence and strength to take on duties in the club. Dante's character growth seemed to happen all at the very end of the story, but it was still gratifying to see him realize that being a Dom didn't mean he had to hide his weaknesses and fears from Heath. David Allen Vargo did a great job narrating this story, though I did think his narration of the steamy bits was a little over the top at times.

It's great!!

Book 6 : Dante and Heath AKA Dare and The Kid

Contains: rival motorcycle club members, age gap, virgin, light D/s, slight violence compared to previous books.

This book holds up well. Good, but not spectacular. Nice completion of the previous book with the return of the 3 deloyal bikers. The scenes are full of emotions, fears, anger, desires, despairs, feeling like a bum, we go through the whole range of emotions caused by a lack of communication. It's not my favorite book cause I dislike this kink, but in the whole, it's a great love story.

**May contain spoilers**

The Kid has a major self-esteem problem
that was implanted in him by his brothers when he was young. He has a great reticence to people bigger than him for the same reason. He has never be in a relationship and is new to what he feels about Dante.

Dante is the VP of the nearby club. He is brought in to work with the Hell's Ankhors after the incident at the bar. He is very attracted to Heath, everything about him checks off his list even the submissive side that Heath seems to have without realizing it. He would like to try his luck, but first he will have to gain Heath's trust and make him break his shell.

Will Heath be able to handle all these new situations? Will he gain confidence? Will he be able to see himself at his best?
Will Dante be able to let go of his bad experiences and enter into a new relationship again, start fresh? Will he live up to all his desires?

These two authors have written another fascinating MM romance with a well-paced, realistic plot with good world building. The characters are likable although they are somewhat emotionally damaged but they continue to develop throughout the storyline to become a strong couple who support each other. There are character crossovers from previous books but this book can be read as a standalone although I would suggest reading the series in sequence to fully understand the underlying storyline.
There is: a baker & Vice President (Dante aka Dare) of the “Liberty Crew MC” notices a rather quiet & inexperienced “Hell’s Ankhor MC” rider (Health aka The Kid) naturally there is a certain amount of reservations on both sides about the attractions between them, vengeful ex-members (Baxter, Ryder & Trip), twists & turns, drama, intrigue, friendship, comradery, harassment, threats, violence, firebombs, memories, abuse, attractions, self-esteem issues, protectiveness, confrontations, expectations, mild domination/submission, miscommunications, surprises, happiness, love, some steamy scenes & happy conclusion for this couple with a interesting ending that could be paving the way for the next book in this series. I enjoyed reading this book & would recommend it to people who enjoy reading this genre.

My first but not last book by Aiden Bates! I never read the story blurb before I read the book I only check out the #'s and look at the cover; this time round it worked just fine because this book is amazing!!! This is also my first 'motor cycle club' book and who knew they were populated by so many hot gay men???

Anyway, this book is really well written with a fantastic love story between two beautiful, deep yet life damaged men who both need that someone special to repair their faith in life and love. Aiden Bates has created a world which has brings them together in a number of ways forcing them to face their fears and each other other as what they have been searching for without realising it. The secondary characters are also amazing and I'm assuming have been met in previous books (which I now HAVE to go back and read!!). AB has created an amazing family dynamic between the two clubs which plays out between the pages in a story that ebbs and flows smoothly with such sensitivity and emotion that you'll need to remind yourself that you're reading about burly blokes riding noisy motorbikes!

AB has created a story that moves through a new couple's journey of discovery of each other; learning as they go page by page, chapter by chapter. It was sweet, salty, emotional and sexy. They taught each other, learnt from each other and did the same for their MC families.

I have nothing bad to say about this book at all and I can't wait for Aiden's next book.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down once I'd started reading it. I totally recommend you read this book, put it in your Kindle right NOW and enjoy xx
