Now it may seem all these problems being repetitive and definitely not so unique but very few of us get to overcome them in a very positive way. it is totally women centric book where
women empowerment is playing a major role. Situations explaining the struggles to overcome all those political and social norms. All this is explained in a very basic and easy to understand language.

You can not exactly judge them for taking such strong actions nor you can suggest any other alternatives. These are actually some harsh truths being portrayed in the book.
you can definitely finish it up in one seating. A special mention about the book being a adult fiction where it is full of exciting and intense story line. It is worth giving a try.

I have read the previous work of Kamini, the Gunpoint Groom, instantly liked it and hence decided to pick this one up.

Virgin bride is a pocket novella of just 25 pages highlighting the narrow mindset of Indian society in general which judge a lady based on her virginity status and for them, it's a symbol of being pure. People and their self made definitions. Duh!

Though the subject around which the story is crafted is apt, but I dint like the character of female protagonist Saanvi. She seems mean and confused at various juncture. In fact, I really admire the character of her childhood friend who despite all odds, sufferings and sacrifice doesn't stop to shower love. Can pick this one up on a breezing evening with a packet of cookies.

Short seductive tale

It's a story of Sanvi who is a smart, successful, and independent woman who runs an advertising agency broke up with Rahul and was dealing with it. Her parents decide to get her married to get off her current depressive state due to failed relationship and she too leaves it to them. So they decide to fix a marriage with Kapoor's family. Meanwhile, Sanvi plans a trip to Pondicherry and accidentally bumps with a stranger. It is also appealing that Sanvi is loved by a great soul named Arav, who is her closest friend from childhood but never expressed his feelings. Arav also took part in this trip. She receives a call from her parents that her wedding ceremony date is fixed with Neel from the Kapoor's family. She quietly accepts it.
Will she get married to Neel? What happens in Pondicherry between her and the stranger? Does she really cope up with her broken relationship? What happens to Arav?
Read it to know all this, it's a short read. A good seductive yet dual facet wide satirical short story.

Rating: 4/5.

Virgin Bride Wanted by Kamini Kusum is definitely a great book, the Author has raised voice on the harassing truth of today's world. 25 pages book will surely touch your heart.

I don't want to talk much about the story because its Title and the cover image says a lot. The plot is really great and the Author has done a nice job in portraying the characters and writing on such a topic.

Although the storyline is smooth and nice but
I find the erotic part unnecessary because according to the theme and plot it changes the genre of the story which might be confusing for the readers.

The language used is simple and easy to understand, the writing style is really good and engaging. Overall it was a nice book.

Even Though It Has Been Over 18 Months Since I Chanced To Read My First Book Of Kamini Kusum Honey & The Moon Yet There Has Been An Instant Reconnect When I Picked Up Her Virgin Bride Wanted This Week...The Recollect Was Swift As If It Was Like Just Yesterday...Even Though A Lot Of Water Has Since Flown From Under The Bridge In The Past Year & A Half Since I First Discovered Kamini Kusum Way Back In Early 2019.
The Polish And Shine In The Writing Of Author Kamini Kusum Who Almost Seems To Have Reinvented Herself Is To Blatant To Ignore And Ample Proof Of It Is Evident In Virgin Bride Wanted #Book1 Of Difficult Girls Series.

Little Does Sanvi Realise What Lies In Store For Her As Well As Her Family When The Past Catches Up With Her And Things Turn Really Ugly On The Runup To Her Arranged Marriage Where Both Sides Stand Exposed Once Stinking Skeletons Spill Out Of Their Closets.
Kamini Kusum Flashes The Floodlights On Present Day Society That Claims To Be Ultra Modern In Their Outlooks But Scratch Below The Surface And The Ugly Underbelly Exposes The Warts That Threaten To Boil And Spill Over Once The Short Fuse Blows. The book is part of the difficult girls series and is book #1 although I don't agree with it being called difficult girls but according to the society they are.
.
The Main Character Sanvi is a strong character sketch and the author writes what is going on in her mind and with the life and not what the world wants her to think.
.
The setup and the opening of the story is unusual but since it's limited to 25 page the author couldn't explore the sense of humour she builds on.
.
The book title has already told you what the book is about but don't let just the book title define what's waiting for you in the story.
.
The author's crisp writing and exploring of the female sexuality is a treat to read under the series.
.
I hope none of the reviews give out the crux of the book and what & where because the narrative smoothly brings in the reveal.
.
After reading the book, I started thinking about the Sonakshi Sinha video she shared and how what she said was so true. It takes just a snap of the fingers. ( You can check it out on her insta page if you are still following her😂😂)
.
Similarly, the author took only 25 pages to call it out and she did a pretty good job of it.
.
If you can, read it.
.
.
funfact : Virgin Brides are wanted across religions, communities and tribes everywhere in the world. The white in the Christian wedding dress signifies that she is pure, untouched because only that colour can mean pure.

The story revolves around Sanvi who is a very strong, independent and successful business woman. She Broke up with a person she loved immensely, unable to understand what her fault was and now trying to get out of depression by keeping herself  busy with the work. But sanvi's parents wants her to get married and get settled in a good family at the right age. So her parents fix the marriage with Neel kapoor,  Meanwhile, Sanvi plans a trip to Pondicherry and whatever happens there, might change her life forever. The story managed to surprise me with its ending, which was bold and eye opening.

It's no secret that Indian society often demands the girls to be virgin which is used to measure the purity of a girl. Any woman or a girl who has already been with a man before her wedding is considered to be characterless. They label women based on their appearances and behaviour. This book is proof that even till date many urban areas are obsessed with the virginity of a girl when they consider sending a marriage proposal to her family. In this story, the kapoor family is rich and well educated but still they can’t think beyond virginity which was their primary criteria for finalising a bride for their son.

The writing style is plain simple yet gripping. The flow of the story is perfect which grasps your attention. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this story within half an hour and was satisfied throughout.

Short and crisp, Virgin Bride Wanted was a hilarious, enjoyable, simple and a light read read for me. Though only of twenty five pages, everything in the book has been expressed so well that it covers all that it intends to but doesn't elaborate unnecessarily. The storyline, too , was highly interesting and well thought-out, though a little wierd for me to digest since the protagonist had my name😂 . Also, in my opinion, the book portrayed an extremely important message regarding women in our society, how it's absolutely unreasonable that everyone needs a virgin bride but the boys can go about and do anything they want. Its unjust and unfair and a stand should definitely be taken against this ritual and requirement of an arranged marriage. I always thought an arranged marriage is a really unprofitable idea and am really against it but that's a totally different rant for a totally different time. Now, I'd like to mention two negatives points of the book- Firstly, there are quite a lot of grammatical errors. Secondly, for me, it's not moving at a pace which I appreciate but that,of course, is only my preference.
To summarize, the novel bought across its message very well in a plain and simple manner without too much digression and therefore, I'd recommend it from my part because it's totally worth the read and just twenty-five pages, hence can easily be completed in just one sitting

🌼'Virgin Bride Wanted' by Kamini Kusum is short fiction of just 25 pages about a woman named Sanvi who, though being very successful at her job, is still unable to circumvent the stereotyped theory of society regarding girls and their credentials for marriages.
🌼The title of the story also dosen't fail in indicating exactly what issue would be debated in the book.
🌼The plot is presented in the following way. Sanvi dealing with sorrow and emotional distress resulting from a breakup, has lost every faith in the prospects of love or love marriages. Hence, she gives her parents the control of her marriage and agrees to marry anyone her parents select. But a trouble transpires as generally every groom and his family wants a "virgin" bride which apparently Sanvi isn't.
🌼Would she hide this truth of hers or accept it? How will she cope up with everyone regarding this? Will she agree to marry on such bad terms just because she has lost hope to love? Read the book to find out Sanvi's journey.
🌼One fact that I loved about the book is that it presented the hypocrisy of society which only puts restrictions only on women in every aspect of her life and are questioned about their character when they don't behave "ideally" whereas the men are allowed to do whatever and however they want.

Interesting story line

Book Name- Virgin Bride
Author- Kamini Kusum
Review- This is the second book I’ve picked up to read written by Kamini Kusum after her great novel ‘Gunpoint Groom’. I really like her narration style which has the potential to immerse readers into the world woven by her pen. Virgin Bride is yet another interesting book written by her with fluid narration. The plot revolves around Sanvi Suri who is coping up with a break up. She is young and talented and believes in herself. Her parents want to marry her off just like any other Indian parents who want to see their daughter settled. We’ve come a lot ahead in development leaving the century untouched by technology far behind. But in case pf societal norms we are still way behind than we think we are. Her in laws want a virgin bride which is not possible in Sanvi’s case as she has lost her virginity with a stranger. This novel is just a reflection of the society where behind the doors everyone has a different face which they hide from the world. It is an interesting read as it depicts the reality of society which will take much long to change.

Book review
Book - " Difficult girls "
Author - " Kamini Kusum "
Genre - " Drama, Romance , Adult Fiction "

This is an anthology of stories of women in the corporate world and their entanglement with love and lust. The " Difficult girls " mentioned in this book - Sanvi, Ashvi, Mansi, Myra, Avni and her friend Soumya. Each with their own unique personalities and clarity as to what they want in life. Love throws them in a situation which challenges, berates them and wants to drown them in the societal prejudices and expectations.

The stories are not unique but the ones we face in our day to day lifes. May be our friends, next door neighbors , classmates or someone we encountered in our lives has faced similar situations. The only difference is how have they handled it.

Have they bulked under the pressure and spiralled into the abyss of negatively and self destruction or have they challenged the stereotypes cleverly laid by the society ?

When we often talk about women empowerment , we attach social, political and economic empowerment as a vital part to it but seldom mention sexual freedom. Even talking about it is a taboo and we tend to brush such thoughts under the carpet of our minds repressing them subconsciously.

But we fail to recognize the importance of sexual freedom as a women is often considered as the honor of the family , her virginity is put to test, her love choices are condemned and scrutinized. Many lost their lives in the dishonor killing. Rape is a tool to teach a women her place and the clothes she wears is already dictated to her. Prostitute is the word used to supposedly berate a women.

With all these situations and social practices so closely intertwined with the body of a woman, it is imperative to grab and fight for sexual emancipation which is very well handed on a silver platter to men.

This book speaks about it through the various experiences of women which are sensual and also enlighten that it's not the end of the road. Kudos to the author for highlighting this in her book.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I feel it's a must read for women to not abstain themselves or punish themselves for any choices they make. After all, what is life without a choice to life the way we want ?

Finally I hope there will be a time when no one especially women are attached with taglines like Difficult and merely be women for the choices they make for their lives.

Book Title: Virgin Bride Wanted
Author: Kamini Kusum
Publisher: Srishti Publishers & Distributors
Format: Kindle
Language: English
Pages: 25
Book Rating: 4.3/5

I'm one of Kamini Kusum's fans. Her writing style is very simple and most interesting. I have read her previous two novels, 'Honey & The Moon' and 'Gunpoint Groom'. I have selected this book based on my sheer interest in her writings. This time too she has fulfilled my need.

This is the first book of Kamini Ji's Difficult Girls series. This is the story about Sanvi Suri, a successful businesswoman. Her parents are trying to get her married after Rahul, her ex, broke up with her. The Kapoor family, with whom Sanvi is going to be their daughter-in-law, wants her as a virgin. But she is not. She lost her virginity not with Rahul but with a stranger.

This adult satire novella has a lot of twists. Language is very simple. This is a delightful fiction what Kamini Ji always brings for her readers. This story shows the mirror to its readers about people in society who pretends to be well-mannered. Even some part of the story will make readers arose too. I recommend every reader should read the novella once.

💮It is rightly said that society always tries to judge a man with his success and woman by her looks.💮
This is a short 25 pages book depicting the image of our society where everyone wants a ' virgin bride', where the education, job and success of girl are secondary while virginity is a primary trait of her character. In many places all around the world, if a girl has sex before marriage, she is considered characterless. .
Plot- Sanvi is a young, successful businesswoman who has been coping with a breakup, while her parents just want their daughter to get married. After meeting a couple of prospective grooms, the marriage is fixed in a high profile family. But strangely, everyone - along with the boy - is obsessed with the ‘virginity’ thing and wants a virgin bride. On the day of the engagement, Sanvi’s shocking secret is leaked. It further leads to scandalous revelations, giving a delicious twist to the story.
.
It is a very well written book with such a good social message. Congratulations to the author
for raising such a vital topic. Looking forward to read more by her.

it's a story of a girl Sanvi who is successful in her life. But not in a relationship. Her broke up followed by sad and stressful life. She almost engrossed in her business to forget everything else. And then her parents fixes her marriage with Neel. Neel's family is very rich and looking cultured and Sanskari outside. But what is inside is only the ones who come near to them can know. They pointing out the Sanvi's character if she is virgin or not. And Sanvi's amazing response to them.

What I like about this book :
+1 for the story plot. Actually it proved a page turner one.
+1 for portraying the Sanvi's character nicely.
+1 for the narration. I have read this author's other book. So I chose this one. And same as old one, I liked this one also. I love her writing style. Story flows greatly.
+1 for cover design and book title.
+1 for showing the reality of society. People are like this only, carrying two characters. And this book depicts this two faces people well.
So, I'm giving five stars to this book.

Virgin Bride Wanted

Author- Kamini Kusum
Genre- modern fiction
Rating- ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Even though the title is chauvinistic, the book is actually empowering.

This is a story of Sanvi, who is a strong and independent businesswoman but is harboring a heartache for her long time boyfriend Rahul and thus has decided to go for arranged marriage with Neel Kapoor, who has one expectation, his bride should be a virgin.

Her trip to Pondicherry with friends before agreeing to this marriage proposal takes a wild turn, and the ghosts of the past comes to haunt her.

So, she chooses to marry according to her parents ' wishes but the groom and his family have an obsession with the virgin bride. For the sake of her family, she ignores their such demands and agrees with him but what are the consequences of her one nightstand. Read this short book to know more about the story that deals with an issue in a humorous manner.

Book 's genre is erotica, so read it only if you are comfortable with this kind of genre.
Language is easy and narration is smooth.
The cover is beautiful.
Well, I would recommend this book if you are looking for an erotica read. It is erotica but not vulgar so if she wanna start reading this genre, you can start with this one.

This was quite an intriguing story and one which I thoroughly enjoyed reading; it was certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.
Overall, the story flows very well, and the premise is pretty interesting. All of the holes in the story are covered.
This book is full of lust, envy, betrayal and some scorching white hot scenes that will get you all hot and bothered.
This is a well written book that will have you turning those kindle pages to find out what plot twist will happen next.
Along with the steamy scenes, the little twist.A short and sexual teasing kind of book.
Mature readers and sexual content.

Virgin Bride will definitely keep you on your toes throughout and the ending was just perfect for the characters.
Definitely one of my new favorite book by Kamini Kusum.

It was a short read first of all.
The female protagonist seems to be confident about her opinions but somewhere broken in her relationship.
Personally, I didn't understand how Sanvi moved on just by overnight when Aarav's pure love couldn't console her for years..
It made me question, does Physical need is the final solution for everything?
Honestly it isn't!!
However keeping the story's theme i.e Not questioning Virginity of a girl, the storyline continues.
At the end the people who often judge people are the one who have more dark secrets.
According to me, the concept could have been supported with different storyline which could have connected large audience.
I couldn't connect with the female character.
If there's something I liked & connected in this story i.e Only Aarav & his love

"Virgin Bride Wanted" by Kamini is a scandalous book written in the 21st century. We have moved ahead and yet, in our society few things will always be orthodox. Virginity has become the most important part of a woman, keeping aside thousands of great qualities.
It is a very short read and yet the impact that it gives is immensely strong that it gives so many obligations to a girl and always been asked to stay in line. The issues asked and penned down by Kusum are much needed but the truth is, some things can't be made right. We live in India, and we can only think about modern lives abroad but will not ponder thoughts to bring a change on their own.
The story was nicely written and all the scenes were created pretty fine. The book is awesome but it is kind of making me sad.
Can be read!

The book is a wonderful creation of Kamini Kusum. This Story is a big slap for those who have such narrow thoughts. This is a very short story. An author gives a wonderful message. The story revolves around Sanvi. She is a smart, intelligent, and independent woman. Her parents want to get married and settled in life. She was a relationship with Rahul. But unfortunately, their relationship broke up and she went into depression. Due to her business, she came out of depression, and she ready to marry for a parent's happiness. She went to Pondicherry on a trip with her friends. In Pondicherry she spent the night with a stranger. And with this, she had crushed and blown away her broken relationship; never to remember it again. She got a call from her mom and she said Kapoor family confirmed the marriage and They want an engagement ceremony in a couple of months. From here twist and turn started in Sanvi's life.
To know more about the twist and turn you need to read this book. Overall I really enjoyed the story. Must Read

Breaking Stereotypes is a Matter of compulsion these days.

I love the book with strong female protagonist because that's what even this society demands not only in the personal life but in professional life too it's high time when women should take charge. The book difficult girls by Kamini Kusum is stories of 6 girls, all the stories are intense one.

The book starts with the story of Sanvi, where she was getting married but her in-laws wanted to have a Virgin girl, which Sanvi wasn't. The story unfolds further which will tell you about Rahul and arav and also a man in his 40s.

The book is collection of 6 not so short stories, one who loves intense love stories can definitely pick up this book. It was quite intriguing. Pick up only if you're 18+ or you can read mature content.

A super read

This is the tale about Sanvi Suri, an effective agent. Her folks are attempting to get her wedded after Rahul, her ex, said a final farewell to her. The Kapoor family, with whom Sanvi will be their girl in-law, needs her as a virgin. In any case, she isn't. She lost her virginity not with Rahul yet with an outsider.
This grown-up eccentric parody novella has a great deal of turns. Language is basic. This is a great fiction what Kamini Ji consistently brings for her perusers. This story demonstrates the mirror to its perusers about individuals in the public arena who claims to be polite.
