EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE ON AMAZON The Guardians (Series 3) is the follow up to the hugely popular Alpha Company Women Series (Series 1) and the Stalwart Security Series (Series 2), and for maximum enjoyment it is recommended that the books are read in order. The first book in the original series, Invisible, is free on Amazon. Redemption What happens when you’re faced with the most agonising decision of your life? Do you choose love with the man of your dreams, or choose your lifelong dream, doing the job you love? What happens when you’re asked to rescue the love of your life, ten years after they walked out on you, leaving behind just a one-page Dear John letter? When Yuri and Kris are asked to fly out to Africa to rescue two American doctors from the local militia, neither of them knows quite what to expect. For one of them the biggest risk is getting everyone out alive and back to the States in one piece. For the other, it’s getting through the week without breaking down and admitting that he’s still in love with the one person who still owns his broken heart. For both of them it’s going to be a helluva bumpy ride! Redemption is the final book in the Guardians Series Titles in the three series are as follows; The Alpha Company Women Series; Invisible (A free book on Amazon) Anonymous Concealed Healing Living Impossible The Stalwart Security Series; Relentless Shattered Retribution Deceived Allegiance Breathless The Guardians Series; Angels Saviours Demons Incubus Sacrifices Redemption The Masters Series; Revelations These books are intended for an over 18 audience due to strong language, adult themes and scenes of a sexual nature.
No plot spoilers No potential triggers (unlike previous books in the series there are no kidnappings and no threat of rape. There are also no backstory issues) There is a bit of violence during the drive across Chad but no graphic detail. The characterisation is good, with both Yuri and Kriss starring in the lead male role, with two very different partners. There are a couple of errors that made me cringe (what's a hair lip look like? If you are going to write about something at least use the correct word) There are a couple of sex scenes lightly written and some swearing. If you are a fan of the genre I have no problem recommending the book but would advise reading from the beginning to obtain the best reading experience.
This story was amazing. Kris, Yuri, Gemma, Gabe, Damien and Jake are wonderful characters who made the story interesting. There was a part of the story where I thought Jake was going to join with Yuri and Gabe. However, I was happy that wasn't the case. The double love story was a wonderful way to end the series. I love the sex scenes and I'm happy that they felt natural where they were placed and not forced. These men in these series are a special breed and I'm happy to have read about them. The women in their lives are a force to be reckoned with.
I am so sad that you said this is s the last book in the guardian's series! All of your books are superb and I have read them over and over again. They are my most treasured collection and I will never part with any of them! If you are reading this review and you haven't read any of the Alpha/Stalwart/Guardians series' then what are you waiting for?!?! You are seriously missing out so get started!
The action I’m this book was so turned down and yet it still managed to be a great read. I love the double team of Kris and Yuri’s story. Although the story telling of past books were in abundance it fit but I had to skim past them as everything’s still fresh in my mind reading back to back.
Have always loved these two that sat in the shadows and background of so many stories and wanted them to have their story. Yuri pairing with Gabe I picked from the beginning but I loved that his character stayed true and didn't rush. Loved the epilogue, so many great endings and beginnings
I can’t really give a thorough review without giving too much away. I will tell you that this is a book about Kris and Yuri finding their HEAs. It was also a great way to introduce two of the Masters family characters for the next series.
You have a gift for writing not just stories but about people's lives! I have loved reading every single one and will read them again! Thank you for sharing your gift!
