Delta Forces operator Cutter Grogan fought for his country.
He gave his all and has the losses and the scars to show.
Now, he's waging another fight. For those whom the system has failed.

Cutter served in the world's most dangerous hotspots and sacrificed everything for his country. His military file has more redactions than words.

That life is behind him. He's a fixer, now. He uses his specialist skills to help those whom the system let down.

When a mother wants him to free her son from the grasp of drug dealers, it sounds like a simple assignment. Knock some heads, give a stern talking to the delinquent. Walk away.

But nothing's ever that simple.

When the most vicious gang in New York is involved in a conspiracy that can destroy the country's foundations, he has a choice to make.

He can back off. Or, he can clean up.

The decision, again, is simple.

The job will be anything but…

It took me the first few chapters to accept Cutter Grogan. But then, after each chapter, I connected with him more and more. Ty has waved his magic wand again. I am sure you will be pulled into Cutter's world once you start reading this adventurous journey.

I feel this is a fantastic way to introduce Cutter.

Cutter Grogan Thrillers book #1

As a fan I know by now that Mr. Patterson has a fertile imagination and has no limits in order to entertain his fans. Moving away from his well-known “ Zeb Carter” series Mr. Patterson introduces his new lead man, Cutter Grogan a former Delta soldier, who calls himself a “Fixer”. Once again we are given a story very hard to put aside. This is a page-turner of a story that grabs you from the start and holds you captive till you reach the conclusion.

A concern mother requests the “Fixer” to help her to rescue her son from the clutches of a drug pushing gang. Cutter soon finds out the situation is by far more complicated that he thought when he gets involved with a white supremacist group and one of them is running for president...oh my my.....

This is a blistering opening for what will be a great series. Cutter leads us into a thrilling ride filled with twists in every direction while in a cameo appearance Zeb Carter’s team is there to save our intrepid new protagonist from being killed. The plot provides many thread lines that are all interconnected and easy to follow, I never lost track of what was going on. “Break” is a well-written thriller populated with excellent characters and to boot has a great story to tell. Nicely done.

I received a copy of this book for my honest thoughts.

A new action hero

Ty Patterson is no dummy - he's built a universe around Zack Carter and his team at The Agency, and those books expanded from Carter to his mostly make team (with one exception) of former military folks, then eventually expanded it by including twins from a lawman's family, now based on Manhattan. Those twins have their own set of adventures, but there was apparentl a missing piece.

Cutter Brogan steps into that world and takes it into a new direction. Like Carter, he's highly trained in black ops, fit, capable and a widower; unlike Carter, however, he's why around women (versus withheld), and, most importantly, his head and his feelings are accessible. Carter, by.way of contrast, is the strong, silent, Zen warrior.

The antagonists here are white supremacists who've managed to disguise themselves as drug gangs. And they are tied to a Presidential candidate who can be read to resemble real life - but that's an exercise for the reader, not an outright portrayal by Patterson. Add two tough law enforcement women, a teenager in trouble, a while lot of violence and mayhem (heads exploding in red mists from gunfire - more than once - shootouts and beatdowns) and tie it into the world of Carter's crew and, if you've read the Warrior series, you'll love Break.

I have read all of Ty Patterson books and absolutely loved the Zeb Carter series with Zeb, all his Delta Force cronies and their adventures for the pursuit of justice in the world. Cutter Grogan, who is trained in black ops, and is a friend of Zeb and the gang, is definitely capable of being added to the group. However, Cutter is a person who wants to work alone but is also a person who wants to see justice. He does that with no authorization from anyone, including Zeb’s group, or from law enforcement. He calls himself “the fixer” and he is a very capable protagonist. He takes on clients who have unusual problems, such as kidnapped children or missing items and law enforcement can’t or won’t help.

In this story, he is involved in sorting out the problem of a young, intelligent student, the son of a teenage mother, who is going to be used by a criminal gang in New York. His research involves discovering white supremacists who are involved in politics and the Presidential race, a much bigger problem than the threat to the young student and the story eventually threatens Cutter’s friends.

The story is an excellent read with non-stop action. It involves some clandestine help from Zeb and his group, which adds much to the story. It’s a hard book to put down and I’m looking forward to reading more of Cutter Grogan’s exploits in Ty’s next book.

What a great start for a new series by Ty Patterson!

The star: Cutter Grogan, AKA The Fixer. His business: helping people and solving problems. Background: former spec ops operator and member of Delta Force. His business referrals had previously been NYD, FBI, military, and others.

His Friends: Chang and his wife, Lin Shun; Moshe; Beth and Meghan Peterson; Bruce Rolando, the NYPD Police Commissioner; and Bart Jamison, the Director of the FBI.

His Frenemies: FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Peyton Quindica and NY Police Detective First Grade Gina Difiore; both are heading an inter-agency task force.

The enemies: The Lions, a white supremacy group and their leader: Scheller.

The Plot: Carmel Ward comes to Cutter's office asking for his help in getting her son, Darrell, away from a street gang with whom he's been hanging out. Cutter decides to look into her request.

The Story: Follow Cutter's investigation as the gang turns out to be something he didn't expect: it was much more dangerous than he could ever have imagined!

Note: It will be hard to put down this new series thriller.

Cutter Grogan former delta and other things fixes things for clients in trouble.

Cuttter has clients that have unusual problems that the police have given up on or just can!t help because they are blocked by borders or lack of knowledge or rules. He takes on the job and brings home the daughter or the fixes the problem or finds what is missing. But this time its in his back yard and involves his past and a new client who just wants her son out of a local gang. It winds upin in national politics and the attempted murder of friends.
This is a fantastic book. I have to be honest I started my journey as a bad betta. I dd my work but lost the manuscript so bought it when it came on sale so I could give it the second read and say I wish I could give it eight stars. Ir kept me awake as a betta read and kept me awake as a second read and I can’t wait for next book but not as a betta reader.

A new hero another great read.

Cutter isn't new to dire situations. He retired from the government now he works for himself...and those who need help the government doesn't provide. He uses his skills and sometimes tools others can't or won't. The Fixer.

This time a good single mom has a teen in trouble. Nothing new you say. This is new and much more complicated he soon finds out. He may not be connected to the government anymore but he does have some contacts and he's gonna need them. He also has some friends that come in handy--friends any fan of Ty Patterson will consider their friends as well.

A new character--a loner--a hero--a character you won't forget and will be anxious for more stories about him.

Break Ty Patterson

Cutter Grogan, ex special forces, Delta. He is called a fixed in New York. Similar to a private detective, but not licensed as one. Highly regarded. Takes care of problems that conventional methods don't fix. Personal friend of the NYPD commissioner. A earned trust. Also has friends in the CIA and FBI. There's a new gang gaining influence in New York. Well connected. A mystery to law enforcement. Their leader has a connection to a prominent presidential candidate. The gang is composed of white supremacist's. Very well connected in the political spectrum as well as law enforcement. Non stop action!!! An excellent read!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Cutter Grogan is a fixer who looks out for the people who have been let down by the system. He has many connections that he can call on for information, including Zeb Carter and his crew. In this story there appear to multiple story lines although in the end they are all interconnected. Cutter has to walk a line when providing information to the cops so as not to give up a young kid he is trying to help. And he finds out that it is good it have friends that have your back. Looking forward to the next story in this series.

Cutter Grogan is a new kind of hero. "The Fixer" as he calls himself, helps those who nee held that the police can't or won't help. While helping a single mother whose teenage sone is involved with a gang that is not just the drug gang they are thought to be. Cutter finds himself dealing with the leader of a white suprimacist group that everyone thinks is dead, and that is assisting a presidential candidate who is hiding his true beliefs just to get elected. Great first in an exciting new series.

Exciting and suspenseful

This is a new to me author and I’m glad I decided to take a chance on buying this book. I couldn’t put the book down until I was forced to close my eyes at 4:30 am! I immediately finished it when I woke up. I think I held my breath for a good portion of the last 20% of the book!

What was particularly chilling in this book is how unfortunately realistic it seems. A lot of what I read is way too close to the reality of today’s politics.

A preview of book two was certainly a shocking way to encourage the reader moves on to book two.

Cutter Grogan's life in Delta Force is over, now he's a fixer. One thing is sure you never know where the next case will lead. For Cutter, it could be a street gang, prison, or even the political arena. When the time comes that Cutter needs a little help, his very lethal friends don't mind lending him a hand. This story has some twists and directions that will set your mind to wondering, what if? Fantastic story to introduce us to the Fixer!

Cutter Grogan is a great addition to the Zeb Carter, and Break is an awesome debut for him. Full of action, that is present even in the backstory. Compelling story that keeps you moving forward throughout as he gets involved in a conspiracy that goes all the way to a candidates run for the White House. Prison, NY gangs, FBI, there is no shortage of participation (even Zeb and the crew appear).

Another awesome book by Ty Patterson! This one features a new main character. Although Cutter Grogan isn't Zeb Carter, he still encompasses the same endearing characteristics, the same strong moral ethics and physical capabilities that endeared me to Carter. You won't regret reading this action-packed thriller. I'm already looking forward to the second book in this series.

I don't usually pay 10 dollars for a kindle book, but I had read the first one with Zeb Carter (which was awesome!) Cutter was a bit different, as he helps people who are missing or in need.
I'd love to read the rest of these, but my funds aren't that fluid to pay 10$ a book. But if you can, read Zeb and Cutter.

Justice Matters.

Excellent read. As good as the Zeb Carter books. This is my favorite kind of read. Unfortunately it hits so close to what has happened to our country in the last few years. But I know justice matters, and justice is coming. For all of them.

Cryptic

Intense and gut wrenching. The fixer sees a problem, and does what it takes to make it right. This may mean getting beat up shot at or running for his life. Anything goes, but he will fix it!

Breath taking suspense

In the shadow of Zeb Carter, a the quiet giant meeting out justice, caring and tender caring is the calling card of this humble giant. Thank the twins for adding spice and humor to highly volital situations with their brand of flamboyant actions.
